" B-But . . . That was a perfectly good banana . Are you okay ? "
Concerned Taliyah noises .
Kayn seductively eats a banana, maintaining eye contact before he takes a big chunk out of it and then throws the rest of it away.
@iixesha started ♡ " i miss more how it used to be than i thought i would, "
Taliyah doesn't know much about her traveling partner . He hardly ever spoke , after all ! When Ekko did , his low , rough voice was oh so hard to hear . But now , with the crackling of the fire , she could finally hear .
What he had to say , however , quickly removed what joy Taliyah had found .
How it used to be ? What did the sand guardian mean ? The Shuriman's chocolate eyes studied her companion , a hand reaching for his own .
" Change . . . Is inevitable . All we can do is chug along . Hopefully , someday , it will all be peaceful once more . " If one isn't able to tell , Taliyah is just spitting out what was in her mind . The days of her playing with the other kids in her tribe were long gone now , leaving uncertainty in her heart as the weight of growing up was set upon her shoulders .
" We can go through this together . R-Right ? "

Okay, okay, I hear you- but what if we, instead, try slaughtering them all?
Public speaking was just never really my thing, you know?
post - trauma sentence starters blood, death mention.
“don’t do that. don’t shut me out.”
“you’ve been crying. i can tell.”
“we need to change those bandages and get some food in you.”
“you want me to rub your back ’til you fall asleep?”
“that was a brave thing you did today.”
“shh, that’s okay, get everything out.”
“there’s something on your shirt. you – that’s blood!”
“need some space?”
“you should lay down.”
“there’s nothing wrong with asking for help.”
“shh, shh. you were having a nightmare.”
“we can talk through the door.”
“let’s clean you up and get you to bed, okay?”
“you almost died.”
“i brought you a blanket.”
“you’re home. you’re safe.”
“i’m worried about you.”
“is everything okay?”
“tell me how to make it better.”
“it’s been a tough few days. how are you holding up?”
“you have to stay awake. come on, give my hand a squeeze.”
“you’re in the hospital.”
“think you can make it to the bathroom?”
“no, no. don’t close your eyes.”
Taliyah wasn’t a fan of the ‘ walking alone ‘ days . Mostly because of the alone part . Despite this , she ambled down the mysterious streets , hazel eyes peeled for anyone or anything threatening . Apparently , she hadn’t been paying close enough attention to the world around her . A sudden voice - one she wasn’t familiar with - rang out through the otherwise silent village . No crickets , no laughter from children , just the strange voice .
Sadly , Taliyah is a curious person .
She swiveled to the owner of the voice , there standing a . . . Person ? Taliyah sure hopes they are a person . Nonetheless , her head tilted to the side curiously , her mouth opening without a second thought .
“ The end ? “ The freckled woman questioned . “ Are you alright ? The end couldn’t possibly be near . “ With that stated , Taliyah looked them up and down . She was searching for something - a sign of a wound , or perhaps the disheveledness of someone under the influence of alcohol .
Well , it wasn't like Taliyah cared much . He always had to deal with her when she's wet* , so it's only fair she does the same . The young adult was curled up to Ekko's side , arms and legs wrapped around his body .
" You're warm today . . . Do you want the blanket ? "
“ change isn’t easy. ” “ i just wanted to say i’m sorry. ” “ i guess being angry was/is just easier than being sad. ” “ what did you want to tell me? ” “ it was supposed to be simple. ” “ you’ve got blood on your shirt. ” “ you can stay with me. ” “ what did you want to show me? ” “ i miss ____ more than i thought i would. ” “ i don’t like to talk about it, but i wanted you to know. ” “ shut up. please. ” “ fuck off. ” “ hush, i’m trying to kiss you. ” “ you’re lucky you’re cute. ” “ i fucked up. ” “ i just want to take it all back. ” “ i can’t sleep. ” / “ can’t sleep? ” “ we should get a pet. ” “ if you have something to say, spit it out. ” “ i’m allowed to be angry. ” “ she/he aint even that cute. ” “ just hold me. ” “ do you want me to go? ” “ i just need time. ” “ i already made my decision, you’re not going to change that. ” “ nothing you can say will surprise me. ” “ everyone leaves, eventually. either they move on or they die. they leave and i’m left behind. ” “ death is a part of life. i accepted that a long time ago. ” “ i don’t fear death. i fear anonymity. ” “ listen to me, please. ” “ i’m not even sure what to say to that. ” “ that should probably shock me, but honestly it doesn’t. ” “ am i supposed to care? ” “ i do care. ” “ you make me happy. ” “ you look beautiful like this. ” “ if this is your idea of fun, i don’t know what to say to you. ” “ it terrifies me. ” “ just let me show you how i feel. ”
Are we just going to ignore how beautiful Taliyah looks in The Climb? Like, oh god
Only thing I don't like is that she's still sixteen in those. According to lore, she's in her early to mid twenties— WHICH is why I draw her with longer hair. I think the way I draw her makes her look older, but I'm not the judge of that
Maybe we can get a look at what Tali looks now from Riot. Probably not, but I mean, at least we can imagine
What would she look like when she's married? Taliyah returned to Shurima, so she's probably back at her tribe. What do they do when a woman is married? I've heard of their hair finally being cut or being braided- maybe it's adding more lines to her dress. Maybe it's a new color scheme...
Does she have a lover in Shurima? Is it a dude or a gal? Neither? AaA I need to PLOT
Acidic taste . . . And aesthetics . Was that all it took to win him over ? It made the young woman smile a bit at how ridiculous it was . Was that the same reason he likes pomegranate juice ?
" Really ? It sounds interesting . . . Is that the same reason you like pomegranate juice , sire ? "
Of course , she asked . It was a good thing to learn about those above you , correct ? At least he was kind enough to not suck her blood . Wait , no , he's not a vampire —
Gosh , even his words were elegant . It's fine to feel intimidated , right ? Doesn't matter . Either way , Taliyah is staring at him with amazement . The gaze was short lived , though , glancing away for courtesy(and whatever image she had left) .
" The only thing I've tried was Ionian green tea . What makes fine Noxian wine different from fine Ionian wine ? "
If Taliyah was a cat , curiosity would have killed her years ago .
