The way Hawks looks at Tokoyami reminds me of just how fond he is of the 1-A student. To me it shows that he didn't expect help from anyone, and that when Tokoyami comes in with Jirou to save him, again, Hawks realizes just how much Tokoyami cares for him, and is willing to risk is own life for his mentor'a life. He admits to not having the raw power Endeavor has, but he knows that Hawks knows that he has the ability to keep up and have better coordinated attacks. Why? Because Hawks doesn't have to worry about getting burned by Endeavor if they were to mess up, and because Hawks knows what Tokoyami is capable of. Hawks never wanted to become a teacher or train the heros of the future, but he was willing to show Tokoyami how versatile his quirk really is. Thus another reason he was willing to continue his studies and work with Hawks even after his first interactions with Hawks was nothing more than giving him intel.
Hawks admits to hardening his heart and the will of forgetting any relations he has had in the past, to continue moving forward and creating a better future. Though I don't think he could ever shove Tokoyami away, after everything they have been through, Tokoyami never gave up on Hawks. Even when he admitted to killing Twice, Tokoyami is still willing to fight along side Hawks and defeat the evil that corrupts the world.
Also here is colored version. I absolutely love their dynamic of student/mentor.
Fanon Hawks: I can't cook for shit, I always just order out because I will burn my home down if I turn on the stove.
Canon Hawks: I am a food Connoisseur, who knows my way around the kitchen, however due to my work, I can't really cook all that often. This is why I eat out a lot and enjoy the different taste of food.
Fanon Hawks: Fuck you and your knowledge of food.
My birthday is coming up on the 25th, think I'll spend it with a QNA if y'all are interested. Ya know, Hawks stuff or just irl stuff of me, whatever y'all want.
Ur fic were hawks helping y/n with the grocery! I see nothing but hawks not getting out of the 'brother zone'😂 poor hawks hahahaha
That's actually the premise of it! The fic was to give more brotherly vibes rather than lover vibes. While a majority of people prefer seeing Hawks as a partner/lover/FWB, I wanted to write something that has the reader see Hawks as more of a brother. Like when you have a friend who acts more like family and is so incorporated into your life that you forget they are a friend. I like to see it as big brother Hawks, who is still goofy and loving towards the reader, while also worrysome of the reader who tries to do everything themselves.
Hawks is more than a hero and a comfort character. Hawks is family. If you don't think so, then... Okay.
So my power went out last night :) and all my progress got deleted :D now I have to re-write chapter 2... FUN
Was in a drawing mood so I decided to draw Hawks
I absolutely suck at drawing Hawks, so I tend to draw him in a more rough style.
Should I? I don't use the account often, but would like to. Plus I do miss rping and would love to interact with people. Even then so, I am completely fine if people want to rp with me on this account as well.
I feel like turning this account into an 18+ rp account. Should I?
Hawks canonically perches on things and it makes me wonder if he was trained to perch, or if was something that came naturally to him.
Now thinking of the commissiom training Hawks how to perch, and theh are like: "Hawks, you are part bird, birds perch, you can do this. It's not that hard."
But then again, Hawks never got to fully embrace his quirk when he was young, so now it makes me wonder if he even knew his wings were bird wings, rather than just 'useless wings', as pertrayed by his father.
Thinking about how Hawks has to infiltrate the league and as he does, he runs into you, a new LOV recruit who just wants to watch the world burn for how badly it treated you. Hawks uses you as new eyes and as a new perspective of cruel the world can really be to those who aren't privileged enough to get by. He starts thinking about how you make a lot of good points, and on his days off he realizes what you mean. As he is people watching on top of a building, he spots the way poor people are treated, and how those in need of help are ignored. Even by heroes, whose job is to protect the people. He watches a teen get kicked out and thrown out of a store, yelled at for stealing. Upon closer inspection, Hawks notices how skinny and dirty the teenager is, how starving he is.
When Hawks decides he wants to run a food bank for the poor, the Commission yells at him and shuts the idea down, saying its a waste of time and that he needs to focus on his own mission with the league. This makes Hawks frustrated, as even with all the wealth he has, the commission doesnt want him to help those in need, but rather focus on his job. This becomes another factor as to why he is starting to think the LOV aren't all that bad.
During the next meeting with Dabi, Hawks is less focused on what Dabi is saying, and more focused on his view of being a hero. Why be a hero when you can't even do your job to help the people in need of help? Dabi snaps at Hawks for not paying attention, and questions whats on his mind. Hawks lies, saying he hasn't gotten much sleep so his focus isn't as great as it usually is, which isn't all that far from the truth. Hawks has been staying up all night questioning his morals and whether or not to inquire you for more advice.
Dabi huffs in disbelief but disregards Hawks, leaving to go to the LOV hideout. Hawks follows, but only because he is more interested on your opinions, and in you.
I have so many writing ideas, but I don't know what to do first. Should I start with the rps, should I start with some works in my drafts, should I start by finishing chapter 6? Like IDK. My mind goes places, all I know is I'm getting all of them done today. Cuz tomorrow, I'm going to the movies with friends to watch the new Fantastic Beasts movie. So. So. So. Today is writing day. Either way, I'm getting it all done, even if my adhd gets in the way.
