I mean, think of this: You have two friends who are older than your entire family combined who seem to have known each other for much longer than you have known them, spent/still seem to spend a lot of time together, and one of them even uses nicknames to refer to the other... It would be hard not to think they have something going on 👁️

They're always together, you can just sense that they had some history by the way they interact. They put in so much energy when they argue too, only for them to turn around and start discussing something more personal, something you have 0 context for but you can just feel that they have a lot of feelings about it. Fionna and Cake must be so used to seeing them behave like this that when they decide to come clean, their minds automatically go to whatever relationship they have lmfao
