[🚧 WIP] Umm I was looking for some WIPs in my blog here, but couldn't find it... Apparently, I didn't post it here? OTL

Anyway, decided to dump these old ones in one post, since some of you say you like seeing sketches and lines (thank you again btw!!!). Most of these you've already seen finished, but not all 👀

hey, love the art. Idk if you know this, but guardians don’t age, so Osiris has always been old. So as steamy as young Osiris is, unfortunately not how he woulda looked back in the day.

Yeah, good thing I'm not an official Bungie illustrator or something like that, so I don't mind 😁 I also draw him with his tattoos from the concept art which he doesn't have in the game, wearing outfit from the concept that is slightly different from what he's wearing in the game, etc. He's not the only one - I also draw Andal more based on the concept art of him instead of how he looks in comics, even though they are certainly more canon. I draw Exo!Rasputin based on my imagination instead of the frame we (briefly) had in game. I'm not a strictly 'canonic' artist and I'm not trying to be one.

(In case you're curious, with Osiris in my art I stick to the story that he was risen looking like any other Lightbearer and then significantly aged after messing with time in the Infinite Forest)

And in general I draw Risen still changing over time, because I like when characters' appearance evolves and changes throughout the story. Not to mention it also gives viewers a better idea of when in the timeline the art is set (like when you see young Osiris you can easily guess that this is a distant past). I don't mind canon contradictions because, once again, I'm not an official illustrator and just here to have fun.

So yup, my art is mostly based on my headcanons/fanons/whatever you call it!
