kind of weird how parts of your soul are left in various locations without any warning… like yes i’m always at the top of that hill, sitting at the bus stop, in the cool light of the Japanese restaurant, standing at the pier etc etc

The Tiny Me in OSHA-approved Hi-Vis Gear Who lives in my brain and pulls all the levers: Boss, it's the fascism. You're completely gunked up with cortisol due to the fact that your entire daily life is now underscored with a haunting awareness of the rapid erosion of your rights, dignity, and any and all social safety nets, and you're also bearing witness to the most vulnerable people immediately being persecuted. This creates a natural stress response that basically means you're going to continue having memory and organizational problems, as well as emotional imbalances.

Plot Bunnies, Plot Chickens, Etc.
As a lot of people aren’t familiar with plot creatures, I thought I’d shed some light on the members of the mental menagerie…
The Plot Bunny - Story ideas that come bounding in and start multiplying.
The Plot Chicken - They squawk, flap around, and shit everywhere, but when you actually need to do something with them, they scatter.
The Plot Sloth - Takes its sweet goddamned time turning into something useful.
The Plot Mule - When you mash two plots together and get something cool, but you can’t get a sequel out of it to save your life.
The Plot Cat - Lazy little bastards who take up your headspace, scare away all the other plot bunnies, but won’t actually do anything except lay there.
The Plottweiler - Barks loudly and viciously so you can’t ignore it, distracts you from everything else you want to write, but leaves you too paralyzed with fear to actually put words down.
The Plot Squirrel - Cute, distracting, full of nuts, and just TRY to keep up with that train of thought.
The Plot Bedbug - Shows up during the night, chews on you so you can’t sleep, and disappears in the daylight.
The Plot Tick - Burrows in, bleeds you dry, and leaves you with the creepy-crawlies. Mostly preys on horror writers.
The Plotroach - Totally unappealing, but so tenacious they’ll survive anything until you finally give up and write them.

I just saw another video where someone talked about how they wished we had dragons, super powers, zombies, vampires etc. And like, hell yeah!?
Half if not all of the comments were "But we have Wifi!"

I have so many questions like, What happened to joy and whimsy??
Why would you compare a dragon to a CAR?? Like i get where they're coming from like, yeah i mean it's cool humans came up with that! But it's definitely not a HTTYD situation lol
I even saw a comment saying some shit along the lines of "If you wanna be in a fight with a wild creature so badly, why don't you go to a zoo and fight a lion?"
SAME DAMN VIBES AS "If you identify as a wolf, why don't you go outside and live in the wild"
Maybe because that is impossible, not the same AT ALL, and also illegal af ⁉️ and just overall awful???

The amount of times i saw someone be like "I'm a wolf, and trust me, you would not wanna be a wolf irl" I even saw some folks indicate that they would be or are stronger than you?

Which is funny because, what about this reality? Do people not suffer just because we don't have zombies and werwolves? So many folks including myself have or have had phsyical stuff that made or make it hard to live, why are these users acting like you only suffer physically when you live in a fantasy world 💀?
If anything, a fantasy world would be so much better?? Imagine a world like in HTTYD, ofc there would still be some kind of war, but in itself you're pretty much free from suffering, or if anything it would be EXACTLY like this reality but with dragons you're able to train?? Is that not better?

You should write the most niche, indulgent fiction that appeals to you specifically, because it will be much more artistically authentic and valuable than corporate slop that has been focus tested to death to appeal to the widest audience possible.
Write for yourself and you will always be making authentic art that has an uncompromised vision, and you will gain an audience that appreciates that.
This isn’t what I usually post, but I wanted to draw ENA for my friend and to get a bit more experience with 3D and drawing straight lines. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
