Hey guys, I hate doing this because it’s embarrassing for me to ask for help, but here I am.
I recently sustained an injury that caused an old surgical wound to become inflamed again. I am sick all the time, and the pain is nearly unbearable.
I am working hard to become certified in phlebotomy, but unfortunately that costs money. A LOT of money. With that on top of extra medical costs due to my injury and needing certain medications, I don’t really know how I’m going to make it to next month.
If (and that’s a huge if) you have ever enjoyed any of my work/content or if you just feel so inclined, it would mean absolutely the world to me if you even just sent a dollar to my CashApp.
Again, I’m so sorry to do this and I hate asking for help, but here I am. If you can’t contribute, at least boost the post.
Thank you for reading, and I appreciate each and everyone of you.
My CashApp is $stargirl221writes
And so the poll results are in! Despite the winner, I'm still gonna end up posting female reader fics without them being requested. But that does not mean I won't write any male or gender neutral reader fics!
I am more than willing and going to write stories for all readers to enjoy. But unfortunately with the way I've come to see the algorithm work, female reader fics do significantly better than any others. It's unfortunate, but sadly the only way I know to help my account grow without buying the growth.
I'm so sorry to disappoint some of you. Please don't be discouraged by any future posts.
Written exchanges between you and your boyfriend over the summer
A/N: For purposes of the fic, no Voldemort. This takes place between Fred and the reader's sixth and seventh year
Part One of the Letters series
Enjoy!
-------------------------------------
July 27, 1994
Dear Freddie my love,
Hi.
First letter of the summer is always the hardest to write. I'm sorry it took me two weeks to write. You've been the only thing on my mind. I think a hug from you could cure me of this heartache. Needless to say, I miss you. I miss your dumb jokes and all the trick you play to get my attention. I don't like being halfway across the country from you, rather than the handful of staircases that normally stand between us. It's strange, I get so used to Hogwarts that it feels more like home than home does. But when I finally feel like home is home, it's time to go back to Hogwarts. It's a cycle, that's for sure.
Luckily though, this is the last time I have to go through it. I'm still not positive how I feel about us officially being seventh years now. I almost feel like this is all just some long drawn-out fever dream. How do I go from living at school for seven years (save the summer) straight to just being an adult? I mean yeah, I already have plans set and my career picked out, but I can't shake some of the anxiety.
Enough with all that negativity though.
How are you? How're you settling in? Have you and George made more business plans for your shop yet? Is Harry staying with you guys again? Did you find the picture I hid in your trunk? If not, then surprise! I hope you like it. I have a million other some odd questions to ask you. But for the time being, I'll let you answer all of those. Give me all the details, even if they're small or stupid. I wanna know everything.
Love yours only,
Y/N

To my #1 fan,
First off, two weeks was pure torture. I considered writing you first, but I restrained hard to keep my promise to let you be the first to. I was beginning to think you forgot. Really, I'm relived you didn't. You could have just sent a letter with a simple "hi" and some doodles and I would have been grinning like a madman.
I miss you too. It's bloody weird not being able to see your face everyday. I really miss that look you get when I tell one of my "lame" jokes that you try not to laugh at. (Spoiler alert: you fail every time) I did find your picture, almost instantly. You didn't hide it very well. I love it though and I put it on my nightstand. George has been teasing me endlessly about it. He swears I sigh like a lovesick victorian boy whenever I look at it. Lies. (Mostly) ((Not a lie at all))
We've been experimenting making to products to sell. Right now we're busy with one called SnogDrops. The name was my idea. Other than that it's same same. Our goal is to open the shop come next summer. And Harry is here, yeah. Mum as usual is thrilled to have him around, so is Ginny. Go figure. I'd be thrilled to have you here too. As for seventh year.. Yeah that whole train of thought is just mental. But you'll be just fine, you always are. If not, I'm here with a shoulder to cry on and "bad jokes" to cheer you up with.
Write back sooner than two weeks or I swear I'll follow your owl back to your house.
Hug waiting here when you want it, or several. Probably some snogs too.
Your favorite, Fred
P.S. Answer all your questions for me too
July 31st, 1994
Dear Favorite of Mine,
No need to follow O/N home. I'm glad things are going good with your guy's business plans, though I did doubt they would be going unlike planned. I've been doing surprisingly well. Better than usual anyway. I've slept in the t-shirt you gave me literally every night, so I'm pretty sure that's part of it. Your smell is comforting on several different levels. Other than that'd I've spent a good amount of time outside. Nothing too exciting or potentially dangerous like a hike or something. I've been hanging out in my gardens and reading mostly.
Boring, I know. I've enjoyed it though. My aunt gifted me a small stack of fiction muggle books so that's been they've been the subject of my attention. They actually aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. My mum said that muggles have no writing skills or creativity, but so far she's been incorrect. I've also gone swimming twice. I plan on going again here in a day or two with my cousins.
Have you gone swimming yet? Or do you not have anywhere close enough to. We have this huge pond not to far from the manor. It's practically a small lake. And I haven't drowned yet. Which, is surprising. Swimming isn't my strong suit by any means. But hey, a win is a win. For now.
I wish you were here having all this fun with me. I'm gonna try to talk my dad into letting you come stay the weekend with us or something. Not this one though, obviously. Speaking of, tell Harry I said happy birthday and give him all my best. I'd send him a card or something, but I feel like that'd be a bit awkward y'know?
Anyhow, if I don't get to see you soon I think I might actually drop dead at any given moment. It's gotten to the point were I seriously think I've started missing your horrible jokes. That's bad. That's really, really bad. I'm holding you to those several hugs too, so be prepared.
Love your biggest fan,
Y/N
P.S. Dad said yes, time doesn't matter
8/2/94
To the future Mrs. Weasley,
Happy to hear my shirt is being put to good use. I recon it looks a whole lot better on you than it ever did me too. Not as happy about your potential drowning. Be careful, yeah? For your own well being and mine. I feel like a total wet mop worrying about you. On that note, I haven't gone swimming yet. That can change though, say I do come spend the weekend at yours. Will your parents mind if I get there by Floo Powder? We can work that out.
I'll talk to my mum about it regardless. Doubt she'll have any problem with it so long as I tell her your address. Things over here are chaotic, as normal. George nearly burned off his eyebrow yesterday working on a prototype. Besides that, things are mostly good in making products. As for your confession..
I won't lie, I reread that bit more times than I counted. I'm taking it as full permission to come at you with at least three horrible puns the next time I see you (hopefully in a few days). You'll get your hugs then too. Something else too, but that bit's a surprise ;) I'll make sure to be decent around your parents too, but I can't promise I won't sneak into your room if they put me in a different one. Cuddling you is an opportunity I refuse to miss out on. Especially after being away from you for so bloody long. Be ready or not.
Your personal court jester, Fred.
P.S. Harry says thank you
August 9, 1994
Dear Court Jester,
I had so much fun this weekend. I wish you didn't have to go home. If I could, I'd keep you with me at all times. But, I suppose that you do have a family of your own to go spend time with too. Thank you again for the necklace, it was in fact a new surprise. I was completely expecting you saying that to be an innuendo. Still, I should know to expect the unexpected from you by now. I can also confirm my parents didn't hear you sneaking into my room at night. Or if they did, they haven't said anything.
Either way, that was the best I've slept in months. Makes me miss our naps together at school when we skip class. It'll have to be a must do on the train ride back to Hogwarts. Oh, and, that hickey you left on the back of my shoulder didn't go unnoticed by my cousin, so thanks for the single most humiliating moment of my life. They all think we got down now. You wish. (I wish too but not gonna happen until we graduate, so keep dreaming lover boy)
Also, you left your jumper of here if you were looking for it. I'm not sending it back to you, it's mine now. You're welcome. I hate how busy the next three weeks are gonna be that with getting everything read for school. Packing, shopping, y'know all the stuff. I bet that takes extra long for you because of all your siblings + Harry. I hope it isn't too overwhelming or stressful. I miss and love you more with every passing second. Please write back soon. I know I'm a fine one to talk, but still. And give your mom my best for letting you come over and stay for two nights.
Love, the future Mrs. Weasley,
Y/N
8/30/94
To my girl,
I know it's a bit late to write you back, really late actually. I know it's a little pointless to send this since we see each other tomorrow, but I felt like it anyway. I would have wrote you back much sooner if your letter didn't get misplaced. I was sleeping when the mail came (so I'm told) and mum forgot to tell me I got anything. I'm sorry, I really am. You were right though, the last two weeks were a nightmare. Though, George and I successfully packed up a good amount of our products to sell while at school. Yknow what that means; the games afoot. We plan on giving Filch a run for his money this year, it being our last in all.
I love you too, I miss you more. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. You'll get your cuddles and your nap, rest assured. We'll talk more then while I loath every minute between our reconnection.
Yours undoubtedly, Fred.
P.S. You can keep the jumper.
(First off, is your pfp Scara Screams from Monster High? LOVE that) also, I think you’re an incredible writer!! Could I request a one shot where Draco proposes to reader in a private setting? Thanks!! <3
It is! I'm so glad somebody caught that 😭 And thank you so much! Hope this captures your vision \(^^)/
Draco has been acting strange lately. Find out why.
Enjoy!

Being with Draco over the last handful of years had its ups and downs. One of those ups was that you'd gotten to know the version of him that was masked behind pride and heartache during your years at school together. One of those downs, on the other hand, was that he could be secretive at times. You didn't hold it against him, not by any means. You knew by now that he was traumatized. So you tried hard not to hold it against him. But at times, it got hard not to assume the worst when he got like that. Avoidant and skiddish. Always on edge and suspicious of everything. He'd been in one of these episodes for a few weeks now.
Of course you'd attempted to talk to him, give any sort of comfort. To no avail, unfortunately. He'd sort of just push you away or say he was fine. Like that was on any level believable. There was a few things that he did that stood out more than others. He'd gone to Diagon Alley without you. Which, would be fine. He's allowed to go places without you. What was odd about it was that he didn't tell you that he was going. And didn't tell you why he went either. But, you let it go. Verbally. He doesn't have to tell you every little thing. Your house elf told you after that interaction that he had taken out a generous amount of money from his vault. That was odd too. Normally he told you when he did stuff like that.
He'd also been staring at your left hand a lot. That bit wasn't all the odd, and maybe you were just overing thinking it. But given his behavior as of late, who could blame you? He'd been hauled up in his study a lot too. From the sounds of it, not doing anything in particularly. The two of you had been living together for some time now, and he often worked in his study. If he wasn't with you, at the Ministry, or dealing with family affairs, then he was in his study. At some point during this episode of his, you'd walked into his study without knocking. He was sat as his desk and looking at something between his fingers rather intensely. Though the second you walked in he panicked and shoved whatever it was he was looking at into a drawer. So you didn't get a look at what he was holding.
As of right now, the two of you were at the manor. He was hosting this huge annual spring party for the Ministry. It was late. Draco had been socializing and putting on his aristocrat face for the whole party. It was late, and you were ready for him to just go back to normal already. No more upper class fake-face, no more paranoia. Just.. Him. Draco. The love of your life. After a tiring conversation with some older woman, you decided you needed some fresh air. You politely excused yourself and awkwardly shuffled about the crowded manor out to the terrace-landing that overlooked the gardens. You let out a heavy sigh and places you hands on the railing. Was this ever going to end? Between this draining party and Draco.. You could feel your own mental state beginning to deteriorate.
You stare out at the gardens. They were beautiful. Large and illuminated by all the lanterns scattered throughout them. That combined with the stary sky made a sight to beheld. Draco, who had seen you going outside quickly felt worry. He politely, but hurriedly excused himself from the conversation he was having and darted outside. He spotted you on the landing at the foot of the staircase he stood before. He did a quick check for something in the pocket of his trousers. After confirming whatever it was hadn't fallen from his pocket, he silently descended the stairs to the terrace-landing. Before a moment of hesitation, he placed a hand on your waist.
You took in a sharp inhale and placed a hand over your heart as your head snapped to the side to look at him with wide eyes. "Oh Merlin Draco.." You exhale, relaxing upon realizing it was only him. Your reaction had surprised him, and he gently rubs your side once you calm. "Sorry love, didn't mean to give you such a fright" You sigh softly and shake your head lightly. "No, it's alright. I was just.. Spaced out I guess" He studies you for a moment before nodding. There's a small period of silence between the two of you as you both look over the garden. You take a glance at his still hand on your waist and smile faintly. Maybe your wishes were coming true.
Just as you go to rest your head on his shoulder, he breaks the silence. "Fancy a walk?" You pause and think over his offer before nodding. "Yes, a walk sounds nice" And with that, he locks arms with you. You walk in pace with him down the stairs and through the gardens. There wasn't anymore words exchanged during this walk. Only thoughts that you both kept to yourself. For the most part, you had spaced out. Draco on the other hand, was panicking inside. All of his strange behavior over the last three weeks had lead up to this very moment. Was it going to be wonderful like in books? Or every possible horrid outcome he'd been imagining? He didn't know, but if he fell through, he would soon.
The two of you reach the grand foundation that sat in the middle of the gardens. It was beautiful and huge, splaying out pretty streams of clean water. Under the glow of the moonlight, the water seemed to be liquid crystal. He walked you around to the far side of the fountain, hiding you from any possible eyes by the manor. He suddenly stopped and unlinked his arm from yours. You gave him a puzzled look as he stood directly in font of you and took your hands in his own. "Do you trust me?" He questions, only confusing you more. "What? What kind of question is that? Yes, of course I trust you" He gives a firm nod at your response, "Close your eyes for me. Don't ask me why or refuse, just do it. Okay?"
Every single one of your senses was telling you to do the opposite of what he just told you to do. Despite yourself, you comply anyway. With a small huff, you close your eyes. His hands slowly pull away from yours. You try to make out what he's doing by sound, but anything he does is masked by the running water beside you. He takes in a deep breath. "Okay.. Open them" A gasp leaves you the second your eyes land on him. He's down on one knee, holding out a ring box. "Y/N," He opens the box, revealing a very pretty silver ring with a heart shaped emerald on it. "Will you marry me?" Your eyes, wide as they could get started to well with tears. You place one hand over your mouth, hiding how agape it was.
He couldn't read your reaction very well, and his facial expression changes slightly. A large smile then begins to form on your lips and you nod. "Really?" He asks in disbelief, a smile of his own threatening to come out. "Yes" You gasp out, tears beginning to fall. Instantly, he springs to his feet and pulls you into a tight hug. He lifts your feet of the ground and spins, earning a squeal from him. This was probably the happiest you'd ever seen him. Slowly, he stopped spinning and the two of you stare into each other's eyes. His grey ones are soft, holding a tender gaze. They flutter shut as he presses a kiss to your lips, gently setting you down as he does. Slowly, he drops down to one knee again and takes your left hand in his.
And with that, he slips the ring upon your finger.
Maybe this time he'll get it right.

The Yule ball had been announced not long ago, but it drew closer with every passing day. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, buying formal wear and asking people to be their dates. The hot topic for everyone fourth year through seventh was dates. Who was taking who, who was asking who, ect. It wasn't until after Professor McGonagall's dance lessons did it occure to him that he too needed a date. And fast. Everyone, especially his year mates, were already betting he'd go alone. The first (and only person really) that came to mind was you. He'd been crushing on you for ages now.
But, he'd never had the courage to make a move. He tried a few times before, though it never came off quiet the right. He wasn't the best when it came to any romantic area. With the way you reacted before, he had seriously doubted himself. He had narrowed it down to you either trying to reject him gently or him just being plain too dull. And neither were necessarily the case, still his mind told him otherwise. He promised himself that this would be the time he finally got it right. So after planning and talking himself into it fully, he did just that. His first decision was to make it into a more romantic gesture.
How he was going to manage that he didn't know. In result, he went to Hermione: the only girl he thought to talk to about this. Anxiously, he tracked. Which wasn't a hard feat, seeing as she was in the library like usual. "Hey uhm, Hermione?" He fumbled as he tripped over the chair next to her, attempting to pull it out and sit in it. "Yes Neville?"
"I was wonder if you could help me with something"
"What is it?" He pauses, his tongue slipping between his lips to wet them before he responded. "Well, uhm. I wanted to ask Y/N to be my date to the ball. But I'm not sure how, I want it to be romantic and make it clear it's not in a 'let's go as friends' sort of way, y'know?" Hermione smiled, finally tearing her gaze away from the book she was reading to the boy beside her.
"Oh Neville, that's nice! What did you have in mind"
"See that's the problem, nothing. I was hoping you could help me with the whole romantic bit"
"I see. Well, there's a few ways you could go about it"
"Like what?"
"Would could always just do something simple. Like propose with a flower. A poster, if you want to be grand about it" He thought hard about Hermione's suggestions. The idea of making a poster sounded nice, but he didn't trust his artistic skill for that. A flower sounded perfect though. And it gave him an excuse to go back to the greenhouses. So, he nods. "A flower sounds perfect" With that being said, he bid his friend good by and headed off to the greenhouses. After walking around them all and searching thoroughly, he realized that none of the flowers he found were suitable. They were all either ugly, smelt horrible or were just plain dangerous.
That put him in a difficult position. His next course of action was to go search the grounds until he found one. After several hours of doing so, he managed to find one of those big daisies. It wasn't a rose, but it would have to do. And it was the thought that counts, right? Only things left to do now was give you the flower and ask you out. That was going to be the hardest part, easily. Hours of reaching and wandering later, he managed to find a few of those large wild daisies. He picked out the prettiest one out of the small bunch. Now he just had to ask you out. He felt his stomach drop at the thought. What if you said no? Or what if he messed up and made a fool of himself? A million anxieties washed over him during his walk back to the castle.
When he got back inside he caught you out of the corner of his eye walking down a corridor. He froze. Should he do it now, or should he wait? Maybe he just shouldn't at all. He took a deep breath. He was gonna do it now. If he waited any longer that gave somebody else the chance to ask you to be their date. He did a little jog down the corridor in attempt to catch up with you. "Hey Y/N wait up a moment please!" He called out, stuttering a bit as he did. You stopped walking once you heard Neville's voice. With a smile you turned around to face him. He sighed inwardly, now able to catch up with you a lot easier. The flower was now hidden behind his back, making him look ever more awkward than usual.
"What's up Neville?"
"I was just uhm.." He trailed off momentarily, licking his lips while as his cheeks grew burning hot. His grip on the flower shifted slightly. With a small breath, he managed to hold out the flower to you. He barely managed to lift his gaze from the floor to look at you as he spoke. "I was wondering if you'd be my date to the ball..?" You felt your chest grow impossibly tight and ache. A blush quickly formed across your cheeks that matched his. Excitement erreupted through your veins like a volcano. "Yes!" You exclaimed joyfully, much to his surprise.
"Really?"
"Yes, absolutely! I would love to!" He let out a meek flustered noise as you suddenly jumped up and hugged him, causing him to stumble back a bit. Though, he's not very slow to return your hug with a growing smile. "I'm so glad" His voice came out trembling due to how flustered he was. Nonetheless, he was a very happy camper. After a few long close moments, he gently set you down and took a tiny step back. He fumbles his words a few times trying to say something. Ultimately, he gives up and just holds the flower back out for you with a small 'Here'. "Thank you" His gaze his back on the floor now, and he's rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly with a soft nod.
"You're welcome.."
You're so beautifully overwhelming

Getting alone time with Fred wasn't an easy feat. That with the strict rules surrounding the dorms and his mischievous lifestyle, he found it hard to work privacy into your relationship.
But, every so often he managed. Today was the prime example of that. He snuck you into his dorm room while all his mates were out doing Merlin knows what. It was a risk, but pleant nonetheless.
The two of you were sat on his bed, you reading a book while he held you from behind. Boredom slowly ate away at him as more time passed. He had his cheek pressed to your shoulder with his long arms wrapped lazily around your waist. He loved holding you, but this was just plain dull. The silence save for the repetitive sound of you thumbing through page after page of your book.
Deciding he had enough of the monotony, he tightened his hold around your middle and suddenly laid back with swift force. You let out a shriek, instinctively trying to pull away. To no avail, as his strength won over yours. "Fred!" You struggled, earning an amused chuckle from him.
"What? Can't a bloke enjoy his sweetheart properly?"
"I mean yeah, but a warning would have been nice!"
He chuckled again, nudging the side of your neck with his nose. Excepting defeat, you begrudgingly closed your book and set it aside. He hummed in approval when you did a 180° in his arms so that you two would be chest to chest. In his most humblest opinion, this kind of silence was a whole lot better than the same as moments ago.
His large hand came to the back of your head, playing gently with your hair. The peace however, was shortlived as he gave into his intrusive thoughts. His hand slid down your back and stopped at your bottom: giving it a squeeze. "Fred!!" He let out a bark of laughter.
"Something the matter love? 'M just squeezing the bum I own"
A scoff of disbelief left you as you jerked up into a sitting position; straddling his torso. His hands came up to your hips, resting on them lightly. "Own it do you?" He grinned with a nod. You bristled at his agreement. Thoughts about getting him back swirled about your head. A poem you red a while back vaguely made its way to the front of your mind.
You slid down to sit on his lap rather than his stomach, placing your hands on his chest. A thoughtful hum escaped the back of your throat as you gazed down at him. He still wore a proud smirk, much liking the new placement of your seat.
"Fine. Then I own.." Lifting your palms so that only your fingertips touched him. Slowly, you dragged them down his chest as you continued, "The moondust in your lungs."
His eyebrows raise in mild intrigue with eyes following your hands. You press your thumbs to the outer corners of his eyes, making his curiosity grow. "The stars in your eyes" He let out a slightly nervous chuckle, anxiousness inching up his spine at the untethered romantic rooted into your words.
"You can't be that cheesy"
Ignoring his comment, you went on checking off your mental list. Gingerly, you took his hands in yours and lifted them up. He felt himself grow smaller inside. "The Amortentia in your fingertips," as you spoke, you kissed his fingertips. He swallows lightly, watching you with warming cheeks. You lowered his hands, your own coming to his messy locks and running through them.
"The sun in your hair," His eyes fell shut when you did that, enjoying the touch. There was a familiar tight ache forming in his chest. Almost like butterflies. "The wonders in your mind," You kiss his forehead, then his lips.
"The mellifluous in your mouth," When you pulled up, his eyes peel half open. Soft with affection and indescribable anxiety. Finally, a kiss to his chest right where his heart lay buried in his chest. "And, the the world within your heart."
He's quiet for a few moments, his gaze nowhere in particular as he took in the weight of your words. It was beautifully overwhelming in the best kind of way. When his eyes finally trail back up to you, he felt a bit breathless. A smile broke on his lips, accompanied by a scoff and a shake of the head.
"You cannot be that ridiculous"
"Ridiculous?"
"Yes, absolutely," He pauses, his expression growing soft once more. "But, I'll bite." You raise your eyebrows at him. He sits up, slow and careful to keep you on his lap.
"You own an awful lot of me, love"
"I do"
"Tell me then, what parts of you do I own?"
"You tell me."
He falters. There was no way in hell he could even begin to dream of matching the level of romance in the things you said. He could try sure, but it wouldn't be anything short of a poor or failed attempt. His tongue slips between his lips, wetting them before speaking.
"I-I'm not sure where to start"
"Technically, you already have"
He chuckles at your cheek. Banter was nice. It helped relive some of his tension, but certainly not all of it. "Right. Uhmm.." He glazes you over, trying to find something to own. Why he owned it. He pauses at your lips.
"I own your smile. It's the first thing I think of when you come to mind. It's uhm, it's nice"
Him saying that caused a warm smile to pull on your lips. The ache in his chest grew tighter at the sight.
"And your body. All of it. I'm a very.. Touchy person. I like to feel you. It's grounding, in a way I guess. Like a reminder I'm not alone, even when I feel all hollow inside. I have you"
The look on your face must have been surprised because he suddenly held a guilty expression. His gaze flickered away, and his shoulders slumped slightly.
"Sorry, I'm not too good at this huh?"
"What? No! No, Fred, you're great. I like it, I promise. Please," You brought a hand to his cheek, gently turning his head so he'd look at you again. "Keep going."
Feeling encouraged by your reassurance, he reluctantly went on. "Okay. And uhm.. I own your heart. It's only fair, yeah?" He presses his forehead to yours, your eyes locking in a deep and intense hold. His voice lowers into a hushed tone.
"Since you so mercilessly stole mine away"
"I'm never giving it back"
He lets out a small laugh, a smirk forming on his features.
"Didn't think you would. You can keep it anyhow. It likes you"
"I like it too."
There's a pause between the two of you. He still felt slightly overwhelmed, but you served to calm him as well. A certain intensity hung thickly in the air. Love, easily. If nothing else. After a few more beats, he spoke back up.
"I love you, my Y/N"
"I love you too, my Frederick"
A date gone wrong

"The weather's been so nice lately" You sigh, slumping against the table you were seated at. Your boyfriend, Neville looked down at you in mild confusion. His brow furrowed slightly, "Is that a bad thing?" You huff at his question, her gaze flickering up to his face. "No, just gonna miss when it goes y'know? I feel like every time the sun comes out I never go feel it" He takes a moment to silently process your words. It had been nice out for the last couple or days. Sunny and warm. It was late Spring too, so the grass was green and comfortable to lay on. He remembered once you mentioned wanting to go on a picnic before. This was the perfect opportunity for him to take you on one!
It'd been a while since your guys' last date. Not to mention he could use this as a double to making one of your wants become a reality. He could try to make it romantic even. At best he felt like a total twat when it came to being romantic. He was awkward and fumbled over himself a lot. But, he did try. He tried hard for you. His attempts were nothing short of sweet. They made you feel special; valued. Which you were so deeply to him. And so, he made his decision: he was going to take you on a picnic. "Neville?" Your voice rang through his ears, drawing him from his thoughts. He hums in response, standing up as he did. Suddenly he just up and left the Great Hall. Which left you confused.
He'd never done that before. Up and leave without any explanation. Nonetheless, you chose not to question it for the time being. He would have a good explanation later. Meanwhile, Neville went off to go formulate his plan. First he'd need a blanket, obviously. Where he'd get one that wasn't off his bed, he didn't know. After a bit of thinking, he concluded he'd ask Hermione for help. So, he went and tracked his friend down. It didn't take very long seeing as she was in her usual spot: the library. Once he had explained what he was trying to do, she more than happily helped out. "Really Neville, this really is sweet of you. Does she know?" He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, "Uhm, no. I'm trying to surprise her. Be romantic, maybe?"
Hermione let out a laugh. "Oh Neville that is! I'm positive she'll positively swoon" After working out a few more things like a basket, food, where to even have the picnic. Though, over the course of the three days it took him to put it all together; you'd noticed a strange behavioral in him. He was more skiddish than usual, in a cute sort of way though. Nonetheless, it sparked some worry within you. Respecting his feelings, you ultimately decide to wait for him to come to you about it. Whatever it was. And he did! Just, not at all what you'd been expecting. "Okay, cover your eyes. Trust me, I promise I won't let you trip" You let out a nervous giggle but did as he asked anyways and covered your eyes with your hands.
His hands gently held your hips as he led your outside of the castle. "Is this what you've been so secretive about the last couple days?" He let out a sound somewhere between a nervous chuckle and a groan. "Maybe? You'll see in a moment" He knew he didn't sound very convincing. In fact he knew that he was being rather obvious. But, point was he was trying. After a bit of walking, he came to a stop and gave your hips a gentle squeeze. "Okay, you can look now" You lowered your hands from your eyes and instantly gasp at the sight in front of you. Though it definitely wasn't perfect, it was cute. And the effort put into shown greatly.
It wasn't perfect like he'd hoped it would turn out. The blanket Neville borrowed from Hermione was laid out, and on it sat enough food for two. The type of Prepackage foods and snack you could buy in Hogesmead. Fizzy pop, crisps, sandwichs and some berries. That kind of stuff. You let out a joyful scream and instantly hug him. "Neville you remembered!" He held you against him and let out a flustered noise when you kissed him. A big smile spread across his face, accompanied by a heavy blush. "I uhm, I tried. It's not-" You cut him off. "No no, it's perfect. I love it. Thank you" He decided against arguing with you and simply nodded in response.
The two of you sit down. "So," You start, but there's a loud crash that startles both of you. Then sudden and heavy downpour. He let out a sharp gasp and you shrieked. Quickly as the two of you could muster, you pick up everything and book it for the castle. By the time you get back inside, the both of you are laughing and soaked go the bone. "Bugger, I'm sorry Y/N" Neville sighed with a furrowed brow. "Whatever for?! That was fun!" Your happy reaction relieved him slightly, but he couldn't help the guilt that ate at him slightly. He bit the inside of his cheek, looking down at you with disappointment. At himself, not you. "I should have asked Professor Trelawney to look into the weather for me, or-"
You again silence him by cupping his face with both hands. "Nev, I promise you that it's okay. I loved the little moment you gave me. The thought was sweet and there. So thank you" A look of surprise fell over him. "You.. You're welcome, Y/N" He mumbled somewhat breathlessly. How you were so kind was beyond him. But, he learned to stop questioning it a long time ago. "And Nev?" He perks up a bit, his hand coming up to hold your wrist. "Yes?"
Without another word, you kiss him.
Calm after the storm

The castle, along with everyone near it, were in ruins. Injured, dead, thoroughly traumatized and a mix of other things. Dumbledore's army won the war, but the aftermath was devastating. Everyone knew that, you included. There were still a large amount of people, students, more specifically that were unaccounted for. So, Madame Pomfrey gave you the task of searching the rubble of the castle for those people. You were a healer, or close enough to one anyway. Having trained under Madame Pomfrey throughout all your years as a student at Hogwarts got you where you were at now.
On your hip rested a tattered satchel, full with various other medical supplies and potions. So far, you hadn't found anyone. But that didn't make any of your searching less thorough. Thankfully, your wand hadn't sustained any damage during the battle. Others weren't so lucky. Amongst one of the larger staircases ahead, you could vaguely make out the silhouette of a single person sitting on them. Judging by the size, they were either an adult or older student. A sharp ache formed around your heart. Some were injured rather gruesomely. You only hoped whoever that was, wasn't.
Picking up pace, you jogged over to the stairs. You would have ran, but that would put the contents of your satchel in liberty of breaking. You couldn't risk that by any means. Upon closer contact, you realized it was Neville Longbottom. The sword of Gryffindor was laid a few steps below him. He didn't look to be in horrible condition, but you knew better. The heavy limp he carried when he gave Voldemort a threat was clear as day. You had seen that for yourself. He heard your footsteps and looked down at you. His face morphed into an unreadable expression. "Y/N." He said in an exhale. You yourself weren't in great condition. A few noticeable injuries here and there, but they were of course minor enough for you to function.
"Neville," You dart up the stairs, quickly sitting beside him. "Which leg is it?" His brow furrowed lightly, watching as you started to rifle through the satchel. "Uhm.. The right one" He responded tonelessly. "Where? Knee, ankle, all of it?" The way you spoke alarmed him slightly. Not sharp, but a far cry from gentle. "Well?" You persisted, holding a little cup in one hand and a bottle of 'Bone-Insta-Fix' in the other. "Y/N?" He sounded worried. "What?" His face fell a little at the way you snapped at him. "Are you alright? You're acting.. Funny" You sighed, your shoulders slouching.
"I'm.. sorry. I'm frazzled, I guess. Seen too many dead people to be anywhere near okay. Can I see your leg, please?" He softened in understanding. "It's my ankle" His voice came out more like a murmur as he rolled up his pant leg. You set down the things you held and gave him a gently examination. He winced lightly when you touched the swollen and red flesh. You frowned. "Can you move it?" He shook his head. A trembling exhale left your lips. "It's broken," You took the potion and poured a good gulp or two with into it. "This is gonna taste horrible, but it'll fix you quicker than you can blink" The way you worded that worried him. Nonetheless, he took the cup. He downed it all at once, his face contorting his disgust thereafter. He smacked his lips, handing the cup back to you.
Your gaze is expectant. Suddenly he lets out a small cry, grasping his ankle instantly. A breath you didn't know you were holding came out. That reaction mean it worked. The potion healed, yes, but more accurately it snapped the bones back into place and/or together instantly. It was painful. "Better..?" He nodded, still holding his ankle. "Yeah, yeah. That was.. quick." You put your things back into your satchel. "Should've been. Anything else? Other than the obvious I mean" He paused, slowly letting go of his ankle and sitting back up. In all honestly, everything hurt. Even if just a little. But he couldn't just say that, you needed specifics to really help him.
"Not really. I think. My whole body aches, really. But the cuts on my face are the worst I'd say" You give a small hum, still rifling through the contents of the satchel. "Well, if it's nothing serious then I can't use anything magical on you. On account of other people need it more, y'know?" He was silent for a moment. The air of the situation the two of you were in suddenly weighed back down on him. "I understand" You could feel tears welling in your eyes. Out of frustration and other emotions you couldn't fully place. "It sucks. I wish- I wish it didn't have to be like that. That we had the stuff to make it all happen instantly for everyone. Healing longterm is more painful. That's why we have this stuff, so people don't have to" His heart felt heavier as he listened to your rant.
If your deep rooted care for him hadn't shown before it certainly did now. Not only that but for everyone else. It made him feel better, mentally. He closed his eyes as you carefully cleaned his face up for him. It was dirty, obviously. Caked with dry blood and grime from the destroyed castle. A small wince or other small pained noise left him here and there as you disinfected his cuts. That made you feel a little worse, but at least it meant you were doing this the right way. His brow furrowed as he heard the crinkle off a what sounded like a plastic wrapper. Though, his eyes remained shut. "What's that?" You gently stuck the appendage to a small gash on his forehead.
"Just a bandaid"
Another life.

It was never meant to turn out this way. Hell thought it was a grand idea. He'd tricked a human into falling in love with him. It was brilliant and got another soul downstairs! Only, he hadn't tricked you into anything. He'd actually fallen in love with you too. With you as a demon, despite how much he thought you deserved better, meant you could always be together. And then Heaven intervened. An angel had caught wind of this whole ordeal and got angry. That was a low blow, even for a demon. So even in eternal damnation, Crowley was punished once more.
The angle cast the 'gift' of infinite reincarnation upon you. It would be great, if only you kept your memories. But you didn't. Each new life you were born into was just that. New. But that wasn't the worst part. Not for poor Crowley. His punishment that tied into this was that in each new life of yours, you'd meet again. And each and every time, you'd fall in love with him. And each and every time, he got to watch your death. It was horrible. In his opinion, this was worse than you ever getting sent to hell. Like this, you never got to rest or reflect. It was just life, over and over again. A never ending cycle that you didn't deserve.
He blamed himself. He tried countless times to make a miracle of his own to save you from this punishment. But nothing ever worked. Once, he tried to go to Aziraphale for help. To no avail of course. He expected as such though. At some point, he attempted to make you hate him. Or pretend to hate you. So that you'd just leave him alone for the rest of whatever lifespan you had. That worked a few times. The guilt he felt afterwards never went away. His heart lurched at every reincarnation of yours he met. Your age and gender varried from time to time. How old you were when you met him. Sometimes you were just a kid who bumped into him by accident. Sometimes you were an elder who needed his help crossing the street soundly.
Man or woman, it was always you. Unmistakably, you. Your name never changed. Or that look in your eyes you got each time you fell in love with him. He'd lost count of how many times you were reborn by now. For while, he did keep track. But that only added to the pain, so he stopped. Somewhere along the lines he tried to go to his head office about all of this. As a desperate final attempt to put this to a stop. His plea was that with you stuck in eternal life, you could never come join Hell. Sure, it convinced them. Mostly. Not a whole lot of the Dark Council cared all that much. He made a fair point, but whatever they tried didn't work either.
You were the reason he hated the 14th century. Because that was when you met him for the first time. The first time you fell in love with each other. He hated thinking about it. About you. How if he had just left you alone, then you would have never been subjected to this cycle. And neither would he. It started again today. You met him. It was the usual age, the same as the very first time you met. You were male, too. Just like the first time. This time though, was when of the few that he saw you first. That should have given him the opportunity to run away, or miracle you to a different location. Something, anything. But he didn't. He froze in his place. It had been over twenty years since he last saw you.
You were just as handsome as you'd always been. And you staring at his Bentley. On the sidewalk with a look of awe upon your face. Like you'd never seen a vintage car before. Or you were happy to see another. For a split second, everything around you turned white. You stayed same, and you looked just as you did back in the fourteenth century. With a blink, the world returned to normal. Suddenly he felt sick to his stomach. As if he may throw up or like he'd been dammed again. He'd long forgotten what he was going to his car for in the first place. His plans or general train of thought completely vanished. He couldn't do this. Not another life. Not for the umpteenth time.
Somehow though, his feet miraculously began to move. In his usual sassy saunter, he approached the car. "Can I help you?" He spoke rather dryly, holding a dull expression behind his sunglasses. He startled you a bit, and you quickly snap your head to the side to look at him. A big, but awkward smile pulled on your lips. "Oh, uhm! Sorry, is this your car?" He lazily quirked an eyebrow as you pointed at the Bentley, as if it weren't obvious enough which car you were talking about. "'Tis. Why?" He questions as he tilts his head back slightly. As stoic and irritated as he may seem, on the inside he was truly hurting. Screaming, crying, getting so worked up that lightening struck him.
You gaze returned to the car, your smile turning softer and more genuine. "That's so cool. I love vintage cars. I didn't think anyone in London actually drove them anymore" A tiny scoff of what could have been amusement escaped him. You never failed to make him fall just a little deeper in love with every interaction you had. Even if you never remember it. He did, that's what mattered. "Oh sorry, how impolite of me," your gaze returns to him "I completely forgot to introduce myself. I'm Y/N. It's nice to meet you, Mr...?" You trail off, waiting for him to finish the sentence for you.
"Crowley."
Could one little dance really lead to all this?

He didn't know what it was. What changed his mind about you so suddenly. He hated you. He always had. You were in his rival house and you were such an idiot. Inexplicably and unashamedly yourself. It was annoying and zealous. And suddenly, it didn't matter. Had he been wrong about his hatred for you? Was it really his subconscious masking feelings for you out of insecurity? No, surely not. He was imagining things. Still, he couldn't deny the way his chest ached the second his eyes landed on you. It was the Yule Ball, so of course everyone was in formal wear. You included. You looked.. Handsome? Pretty? He couldn't place the right term in his head. But he did know you looked incredible all dressed up like that.
His eyes shamelessly trail over your figure from his spot not so far away. Then his eyes landed on your date; Anthony Goldstein. Jealousy instantly flared within him. Why? He didn't know. He had a date himself. And it wasn't as if he wanted to accompany you to the ball to begin with. He'd taken Pansy. Still, his attention was far from her. The first dance of the night was great. You and Anthony had fun. But there after wasn't as great. Once the first dance got over he ditched you. At first you tried to go dance and hangout with friends, but they all seemed to preoccupied with their own dates and selves.
Which landed you where you are now. Alone and lingering at the refreshment table. The night had barely started, and you already felt like going back to your dorm. At least your bed couldn't ditch you. While you stood there, contemplating your next course of action, a voice drew you from your thoughts. "Well well well" You look up, only to be met with a smug smirk. It was no other than Draco Malfoy. "Who knew you were capable of looking halfway decent. Has hell frozen over?" You roll your eyes at his comment. "Is that what you call a compliment? I feel bad for your date" He scoffs dryly. "Please, Pansy? Don't get me started on her" He takes a step closer to you, earning a look of suspension from you.
"Okay," You put your hands up and take a small step back. "What're you playing at here Malfoy?" He rolled his eyes at your question. Though, you asking it was justified. He was normally horrible to you. "I'm capable of being civil, you know" Before you can respond with something snide, he holds out his hand and continues. "Look, humor me. One dance. That's all I'm asking for." You recoil in surprise. Did he really just say that? Your eyes flicker between his face and extended hand in mild horror. After a moment of hesitation you place your hand in his. His usual smug grin formed. Wasting no more time, he pulled you out on to the floor. When he starts dancing with you, you're not short if stiff and apprehensive.
Though, you do loosen up soon after. You were surprisingly having fun. And Draco wasn't being a total drag either. The music was easy to move along to, energetic and loud. Feeling a bit bolder after a song or two, you grind yourself back against him. A small bit of revenge for his bullying couldn't hurt. His eyes went as wide as pies and he went stiff. You let out a bark of laughter at his reaction. "What's that look for? Never been-" You cut yourself off with a small yelp as he suddenly grabbed your hand and dragged you through the hall towards the exit. "Woah, hey! What're you doing?!" He ignored any and all protests that left your mouth. The two of you got plenty of foul looks from other students.
Given, he was just shoving through people with a dirty look on his face. You tried to apologize to all the people he was pushing around since he was pulling you along with him, but none of them seemed to be able to hear you over the loud music. Or care, for that matter. Soon enough he had you two out in the mostly deserted corridor. Having enough of whatever he was doing, you yanked your hand from his. "Okay, what the hell! What do you think you're doing?!" He scoffs with a look of offense crossing his features. "Me?! You were the one rubbing your arse all over me!" He threw his arms up in exasperated as if to add emphasis to his defense.
"So what?! You wanted to bloody, dance! That's what I was doing! And anyway, that doesn't explain why you brought me out here!" You huff in irritation. His face twitches and he doesn't give you a verbal response. Okay sure, maybe what you did was a little out of line. But it wasn't like a Professor had seen you do it! "Well?" You press on. He glares at the wall, shifting his weight. Your gaze trails down his body. You freeze upon seeing the rather prominent bulge in his trousers. "Oh.." He rolls his eyes with a small scoff. "Yeah. Oh." His tone is nothing short of sardonic. In turn, you shift. It definitely wasn't because you were uncomfortable. Turned on more like it.
He grumbles, feeling completely ridiculous at the awkward air between you that he caused. "Listen, I-" You cut yourself off. His gaze snaps up to you and he sneers. "No, say it." You exhale heavily. "There's a lavatory down the corridor. It's out of order right now, so nobody will be in there" His eyebrows raise at your implication. You mentally slap yourself. What were you thinking? Of course he wouldn't want to do that with you. He hated you. He couldn't control his body's reactions. Just as you open your mouth to voice an apology, his hand is on yours again. He's suddenly pulling you as quickly as he could muster throughout the corridors. You stumble a bit, doing your best to keep up.
In a few short moments you end up in that out of order lavatory you had mentioned. By now he was practically trembling in anticipation. His length throbbed painfully hard in his trousers, begging to be freed. He shoved you into a stall in which you stumbled again and ended up falling back to sit on the toilet. Within an instant, he's in the stall with you and slamming the door shut. Once he's locked the door, he turns back around to face you. You look up at him in surprised and red faced. You exhale softly, putting both hands up again. "Listen, first off, don't toss me around like that. Second, calm the hell down" He sneers at you. "Whatever, not my fault you tripped over your own feet"
He bites his tongue and bristled slightly. He knew you well, if he really wanted this then he'd have to swallow at least a little pride. "Look, I'm sorry. Alright? I didn't mean to- To-" He growls in frustration. He didn't like this, nor was he good at it. When he attempts to continue his jumbled apology, he's cut off by your lips slamming into his. He's quick to return the kiss, his hands flying to your waist. With a few small steps, he presses you up against the wall. His tongue explores your mouth hungrily and he presses his body to yours. He pulls away just enough to mutter into your ear: "Are you sure about this?" His voice was low, and laced with desire. "I am" You whisper back. "Then turn around and face the wall."
Slowly, you did as he told. Wasting no time, he shoved his trousers and briefs down. He let out a small breath of relief at no longer being restrained by the fabric. Next, he pulled what you were wearing away. He pressed himself to you and let out a small gasp. You pressed your hands and chest to the wall for any semblance of support. His hands came to hold your hips as he slowly pushed into you, a shuddering exhale leaving him as he did. You took in a sharp breath, your fingers curling against the wall. He whined once he was mostly inside you. At first he tried to remain at a steady pace. But it did prove to be hard. Your breathing had become labored and more like gasps.
He started to move his hips in a quicker pace, his whining growing lower and more frequent. Though you couldn't see it, he'd thrown his head back and squeezed his eyes tightly shut. His grip tightens on your hips slightly, yet it wasn't at all painful. You hadn't expected him to be so needy. You certainly weren't complaining though. He muttered something incoherent as his hips began to stutter. A long groan left him, and he then began to slowly come to a stop. He presses his forehead to your shoulder and places his hands on the wall the by each of your sides. With a grunt, he pulled out after a moment. His legs felt weak, and he could feel himself trembling.
"You're bloody incredible, you know that?"
