Ninjago head canons: SPINJITZU BROTHERS EDITION

-Wu being absolutely CRUSHED by garmadon’s corruption, especially bc he blames himself

-garmadon does still care about his brother post corruption, but the normal sibbling mischief twists into attempts at his life

-TSM taking them on trips to verious now ancient monuments where they TOTALLY left graffiti that has baffled archeologists ever since

-he only took them bc every time he leaves them in the monastery alone he comes back and their mischief has caused considerably damage then it does when he’s able to supervise them

-they both have scars from rough housing when they were little, when the ninja ask about wu’s he says it’s from garmadon. They think something HORRIBLE and traumatic happened when in reality he just pushed him out of a tree or smth

-neither one of them handled garmadons banishment well. Wu didn’t sleep for at least a week. Garmadon cried himself to sleep. Both missing their brother. Both alone.

Expanding on Lloyd’s nesting habit

In the winter time he straight up steals Kai outta his bed to add him to the nest. Often times he’s either barely awake or sleepwalking.

In the summer months Zane gets the same treatment. They’ve all just sort of accepted this reality and go along with it

When hes really tired he collects his friends/family and they act as his horde

In other news, my punch has an ungodly amount of glitter in it.

Update here’s lost!lloyd (finder Lloyd? Idk yet lol)

Notes: his arm bands and earring are made by geo (who’s going to essentially be his big brother)

He kept the rib hoodie, cutting the sleeves off and the torso open when it got to small

His hair is always a mess, particularly bc he refuses to maintain it (much to geos dismay)

He’s still on his whole “I’m gonna be like dad and take over ninjago” thing. He’s simply unable to leave the land of the lost.

World building notes: without Lloyd the overlord won in season 2, meaning everyone else is pretty much stuck in post apocalypse mode.

So I was thinkin about the land of the lost and how geos been their his whole life from what I under stand and wondered like. Hey what are the rules for becoming “lost”?

Lloyd wasn’t sure how long ago he’d left darklys (totally because they weren’t good enough for HIM) a year? Two maybe?

He’d been alone for long enough it hurt.

He missed Brad.

He missed mom.

He missed.. dad.

Neither of them ever picked him up. Neither of them ever showed.

Lloyd did what he could to make it through each day but. Wondering around on your own left you hungry.. and. Lost..

The young garmadon had no CLUE where he was. Or where to go.

So he wondered the land of ninjago in search of food and shelter.

“This is so stupid” he huffed, “that stupid school wouldn’t know evil if it hit them in the face!” His face scrunched into a scowl, he drew his leg back, attempting to kick up a patch of sand, landing square on his back instead with a resounding ‘oomf’

“AGH!” He shouted in frustration “can’t even kick SAND right. Gene was right.. maybe I am better off lost..” his red eyes welled up with tears, he shoved his sandy palms to his face, trying to stop himself from crying

And then

He began to sink

His heart stopped as he realized it wasn’t his imagination

His tears turned from despair to fear as he desperately tried to scramble away as the earth tried to swallow him whole “HELP!! SOMEBODY”

He screamed at the top of his little lungs, trying to grab onto something, ANYTHING to avoid getting sucked in but it didn’t matter.

His hand slipped from the sand as he screamed. Sure he would die. The earth around him became so.. warm. Comforting almost. Then hot. Scolding. Unbearable before-

PHWOOSH

The lord terror in training shot right out of the earth in a firey geyser. His screaming followed by the thud of his tiny body smacking into sandstone

Lloyd groaned, sitting himself up as shook the sand out of his hair and he blinked the sun out of his eyes

“Where the hell AM i..?” He frowned, taking in his surroundings. Piles of junk cascaded nearly every inch of the place. He was lucky he didn’t skewered.. “is. Is anyone here..?” He asked meekly to the garbage heeps

Something clattered nearby

“Hello?” The frail boy asked, trying to push himself to his feet only to be met with pain in his ankle. He seethed from the white hot fury of putting any weight on it “h-hey-! I need help!! If some one’s there you should. Uh. You should come out already!!”

This time Lloyd’s cries were met. A purple faced teen with teeth the size of Lloyd’s wrist poked their head out. “Are you.. hurt?” They tilted their head to the side. Trying to get a look at the boy from a safe spot.

“Obviously!!” Lloyd rolled his eyes “I just fell like a bazillion feet!!”

The teen chuckled, making their way over to young new comer “the geysers don’t get quite that high,”

Lloyd tensed. “Well it sure felt that high… where even is this place?”

“This. Is the land of the lost.” The purple one explained, kneeling by Lloyd and checking on his ankle before grabbing pieces of scrap metal to act as a splint “and I’m geo.”

Ain’t got the energy to do jack else 🫶

Can I just talk about how much I dislike fanfictions where the premise is: "Kai cheats on Skylor with Cole" or "Kai cheats on Cole with Skylor"?

Because FIRSTLY: Kai would not fucking do that™️

And secondly: I don't like that it perpetuates the stereotype that bisexuals are cheaters!! It's a harmful stereotype and it seems that the sole reason many people write fanfiction like this is because a lot of us headcanon Kai as bisexual.

I feel like there's nuance to this topic and like maybe it could work if it's not just "Kai's an asshole who just likes sleeping around" but that's what most of them end up being and it makes me sad.

Ninjago hc’s ✨Jaya skybound trauma edition✨

I saw someone talk about jay having scars from the alternate timeline, and I really like that! The idea that it’s not just their minds that rembered, but their bodies as well.

So jays littered with scars from his time on misfortunes keep, but nya also has a scar from the poison dart. It aches sometimes, it can get downright unbearable.

They both have nightmares from the whole ordeal, and normally the ninja are pretty open about their nightmares. But for these? How are they supposed to explain it? So they only have each other for comfort from these specific nightmares, which makes being apart all that much harder.

He DESPERATELY wanted to forget like everyone else got too. Yo jay it wasn’t fair he was stuck with these horrible memories (side note. I have heard that in dragons rising jays got a memory loss villain arch going on which could totally link into this ehehe)

Jay also has a fear of spiders now <3
