so idk how much people in the fandom know about this, but i have many thoughts about the extra songs on the rtc album? its in the little things, like how they say "oh mama" in 'Be Safe, Be Good' instead of any other term for mother or how it goes back to the idea that life isn't fair that's brought up in the original 'Fall Fair'. it makes it feel all more real and desperate
noooo why did it crash during my scheduled homework break :(((
i need more spelling bee content, im inches away from making my own
is there any abh fans still out there? i've just finished reading all the fanfics and am desperate for more content
as part of my "productive procrastination" in study for finals, i actually started writing again! so be on the look out in the coming weeks for some fics (currently specifically a spelling bee fic)

lowkey problematic/90s sitcom version of &j: 1. Juliet: main character that's actually pretty stupid but nobody wants to believe that she is (both in the show and the fandom). in all episodes 2. Anne: considered the mother figure but really shes more of an older sister. in about half of the episodes 3. William: the older sister's husband that gets mentioned a lot for jokes. in about a quarter of the episodes 4. May: the character that everyone makes homophobic and transphobic jokes about that isnt canonically trans but everyone kind of knows. token canonically gay character. they get a few random love interests and only really have any chemistry with one and that one only lasted a few episodes. one of them is just a plot device to build on Francois and May's friendship. we're unsure if the writer's knew what they were doing. Juliet's best friend. in almost all episodes 5. Romeo: on again off again love interest of Juliet. nobody's sure if theyre rooting for them or not. Del style gay jokes where 'how is he not canonically bisexual?'. in a lot of episodes but not all. he and Juliet are endgame (if the show actually finishes) but again, nobody knows if theyre happy about that or not. in almost all episodes 6. Francois: not canonically queer but everyone ships him with either May or Romeo. a few people ship him with Juliet, but most consider them to be siblings (this is the same with May and Romeo). incredibly queer coded, technically not canonically autistic but has a lot of symptoms that the show makes jokes about. in almost all episodes 7. Angelique: ACTUALLY the mother. not in the way that theyre her kids but shes the one that should be considered the mother. she's played off as a joke a lot of the time but theres some very dedicated fans who type long rants about her. in about half of the episodes 8. Lance: what the fuck is he even doing. nobody knows. he shows up sometimes as a plot device for Francois (who brings him up a lot as his father). Angelique mentions her boyfriend and everyone speculates that it's him and in one episode it is confirmed that yes, he is the boyfriend. the episode is a wedding episode. in about an eighth of the episodes
same here, don't know where i would be without his inspiring ability to create real human characters and truly compelling stories.
