Klaus was part of a group of The Beatles’ friends in Hamburg. His “memory drawings” of our Hamburg days are not only beautiful drawings in themselves, but capture the spirit of the times.

[I am endlessly fascinated by illustrative records made by people that were actually there. Like Paul said, these seem to capture the spirit and the ambience of the moment, with an emotional acuity that photographs normally lack, limited to an instant as they are. Klaus Voormann is a blessing in the sense that he allows us a peek behind the curtains, placing us there with him in the scene, in a way that little else can. I wanted to gather all these pieces in one place, despite having seen some of them floating around. My sincere thanks to those who brought them to my attention in the first place.]
[John] {to Paul} Hey… did you dream about me last night?
[Paul] I don’t remember
[John] Very strong dream. We both dreamt about it... Amazing. Different dreams, you know. I thought you must have been there. I mean, I was touching you.
[George] was it sexual?
[Paul] Oh, you know, John, don’t worry about it.
[John] There’s nothing to worry about.
That post of all those pics paul took of john makes me SICK he was SOOOO in love with john it HURTS. And like you can really tell WHY paul was in love with him like he looks so beautiful and handsome and soft and lovely like THAT is the sweet man paul talks about like THAT is how paul saw john as captured in those pictures like OF COURSE paul would love him deeply for the rest of his life...I need to be put down before I start biting people
SAME THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES ME SO CRAZY ABOUT THOSE PHOTOS. like he consistently captures that soft, vulnerable side of john that he talks about. none of the cockiness or bravado he puts on, just this boy that smiles shyly at the camera and hunches in on himself and looks up at paul like he's the world too..... I'm so sick like I'm literally so sick I can't do it. of course he'd love him forever and of course the loss of being one of the people that got to see that sweet side was so fucking painful for him. I'm ill.

Something I really love about John is how he nakedly objectified Paul.. like a Neanderthal caveman. None of this ‘I’m attracted to your beautiful mind’ crap, he really was like;
‘What that mouth do?’
‘What that ass do?’
‘What that ass look like in stockings and suspenders?’
‘What that ass look like in a gingham pinny making my tea?’
He’s nothing if not consistent!

okay finished this one
These 2….❤️ I love my stupid grandpas
“Ringo talked about his first face-to-face meeting with Paul in many months, on a plane, on the way to Mick Jagger’s wedding [in May], and then said, “I love Paul, you know. I really do,” and for a moment, all the neatly printed legal statements I’d pored over, so formal, signed by all the Beatles, one against another, and entered in evidence in the English High Court, numbering the reasons the partnership should or should not be dissolved, seemed strange and distant. Even Klein, in Western gear, a prop holster and six-gun on his waist, the toughest, fastest wheeler-dealer in town, any town, sat there stuttering a moment when Ringo was finished. The drummer’s eyes were moist.”
