you could curse a police officer out, kick their car, throw a temper tantrum and throw trash. and that still doesnt mean they get to kill you. what the fuck is wrong with yall? why do you think police get some special license to kill when they get disrespected?
if they cant do their job without murdering unarmed people, they dont deserve their badge, or anyones respect.
The Dance of Two Lost Souls
this post is one of the reasons why i have masquerade wear glasses in my fic because i can’t imagine him without a mask on
cursed concept: masquerade but without the mask
okay, okay, okay. let me say something about this new marvel show:
Kate Bishop is a two-time state champion of fencing, got her black belt at fifteen years old (been doing it since she was five), and has been doing archery since she was around eleven (???), and yet she still can’t fight. She has no real world training when it comes to an actual fight. It’s so refreshing because even Peter Parker knew how to fight and he’s just some kid from queens. (Like who taught him??) Seeing Kate Bishop not know how to fight, and she’ll learn from Clint, is really fun. I can’t wait for more.
I want to show some love for phastos BC HE HELD IT MF DOWN that man lost hope but regained it again and is truly one of the coolest characters and one of the smartest and I love to fucking see it I hope to see more of his family in the future films bc he was one of my favorites his small character arc was so meaningful and Chloe zhao did amazing with his characterization love that for him.
I forgot that Sophie had blue hair! I thought she was a blonde
Once I’m done with the character profiles, then I will start posting summaries to each chapter in the main story

I have no idea what made me start watching AlRawabi School for Girls. I fall asleep to watching TV (I know, I know) & needed something to watch, it was pink, they're speaking Arabic, holy shit?? that's as far as I thought. Sometimes I like just choosing something at random, go out of my comfort zone or expectations. I didn't read about it, I just played it. I do recommend watching it, but wow. It hits REALLY HARD. I was not fucking prepared for any of it. It is not a light watch, it is triggering as hell, it just grabs you right by the throat & does not let go. And it does it all against near pristine pink backdrops, which is maybe my favorite commentary of it all, bc that is really what misogyny does in the first place, across the world. This is not my culture, I'm a white American man, but for whatever my opinion after watching it counts, I'll just say that I think it was fucking incredible. I think it showcased really well the nuances of bullying & all the forms it holds, from the teenage girls, their families, society. 'Bullying' doesn't even sound like a big enough word for it all. Violence against women in its forms. It's something you watch & just sit in absolute stunned silence by the end. It has fucked me up & I'm pretty sure that was its goal.
@shunkazamis are you saying that Masquerade only become more aggressive because he was feeling desperation from destroying someone he knew was part of him? Or that he just felt so much anger that he could defeat Alice but couldn’t ultimately defeat Dan and he knew he was finished?
Guys. Do you think that Masquerade cared for Alice and vice versa? Because he probably knew she existed before that final battle, right? Like, he was aware of her being alive. Or did he just fall asleep and sometimes wake up as Alice? Because didn’t he use Alice to track the brawlers?
I don’t know where I’m going with this…
