I love how the ATLA characters just kind of develop with their hair

like Katara used to have those braids idk why but when i see it now she seems a lot younger

and Sokka used to have the sides of his head shaved but later on he doesnt

toph had her hair styled differently in that white dress and it was all neat compared to her bangs all over her face when she bended/ after she left home

and Aang went from bald to not bald to bald again

Your AU of Hiro dieing just makes me think, okay so now what Guardian title does Hiro have? Like, he dies in the fire so summer and stuff, but he's also a genius. Guardian of Knowledge maybe?

Oooohhh my god! An AU within an AU. I love it. Yeah… maybe knowledge. Or invention or something. 

Now I’m just picturing little guardian Hiro following Tadashi around trying to get him to believe in him and Jack treats him like a little brother and Toothiana is bothered by his tooth gap and grumbles about how he should’ve gotten braces.

El’s face was still screwed up in concentration, and the connection almost looked painful to maintain. But then— “—don’t know—” Mike’s voice. Breaths hitching between the words. He sounded far away. He sounded scared. Then “—like Hawkins—but—upside down.” “Oh god,” whispered Jonathan, from their corner. And Max wondered if that’s when she knew, or if she’d known the second that Will told them Mike hadn’t been at school that day. Joyce let out a gasp. Mrs. Wheeler’s wild eyes had turned towards them.
