Thank you! That's really interesting. I wonder what one must do to have a fanfiction published as a book XD

I've got a question for the ACD Holmes community. What is "The practical handbook of bee culture'"? I just saw that it is a book you can buy, that is supposed to be Holmes's journal that he wrote during his time in Sussex, which is also supposed to reference a marriage to Mrs Hudson (?!) and other things. All the booksellers list the author as Sherlock Holmes (which obv. can't be true) and Google can tell me nothing about it. Is it fanfiction, that just happened to be sold as a book? What is this?

CBS’ Elementary is everything to me.

Between the “i made you breakfast” and the “i’ll see you at home” and the “when was the last time you slept?” and the “i know you didn’t eat so i brought you your leftovers” and clyde going from “pet tortoise” to “our pet tortoise” and the “we’re two people who love each other” …

They are individuals in their own right and yet depend on each other so deeply, but it’s not co-dependency, they actively choose each other everyday all the time. They are two halves of a whole but they are not incomplete as individuals, rather they lift each other up. It’s so nice to see a holmes/watson relationship that’s so unproblematic and wholesome and loving. I love this adaptation. I just love them.

Ok first of all here is the A: LGBTQIA+. And you're telling me it's only about lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans people? So you're also excluding pansexuals, intersex people, omnisexuals etc? Even if you refuse to put an A in your acronym there's still a + for other orientations... And what are inclusies? People, who include other people? That's a bad thing?

Sorry, I totally forgot that I wanted to respond to that and left this in my drafts.

Dear exclusionists and gatekeepers please explain:

You say aspec people don't belong in the LGBTQIA+ community because we are are "not oppressed enough" or "basically straight" but then proceed to say that the A in LGBTQIA+ stands for ally. Like WTF?! Allys most of the time are cishet people. They are straight, they aren't oppressed based on their sexuality in any way and you say they are part of the community and we aren't?! Please explain I don't get it.

Yes, he is! He absolutely is!

Whenever I see someone discovering Ronald Howard's Holmes, I get so happy.

It is THE SHIT!

It captures Holmes' sillyness beautifully (even tho to a comedic degree), Watson actually doesn't resemble a Hamster and is, for lack of a better word 'cool', the dynamic between Holmes and Watson is sweet and amazing, for 20-minute episodes, the plot is great,

Oh, I love this series so much!

It is one of my favourite Sherlock Holmes adaptations, if not my favourite one! If you haven't seen it, give it a try, it is so worth it!!

I’ve just discovered the 1954 version of Sherlock Holmes and I think it’s tied with Jeremy Brett for my favorite holy shit
