Just looked at a blog where the header description said 'sometimes I reblog posts I like so I don't forget them'.

And I feel like that, right there, explains so much about how the site has changed in the last few months.

People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.

Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists - for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart's content. Or not organize at all, if that's your jam.

Our blogs are intended to be collections of posts, not collections of likes.

Bonnie will consistently put you above herself, as we see in the show over and over again.

If you decide to have a girls day out with just her, she'll end up buying a lot of things for you.

She'll feel bad if you're paying for yourself.

After enough convincing, she 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 let you pay for yourself. But she'll still feel bad.

If you're a vampire, she'll be incredibly suspicious of you at first.

Like.. far too suspicious.

If you're originally friends with Damon, she'll probably be even more skeptical.

If you're originally friends with Stefan, she'll probably be much more lenient, because she knows Stefan is usually a good judge of character.

If you're (somehow) originally friends with one of the originals, she'll more than likely attempt to kill you to get you out of the way to get closer to killing Klaus.

And if somehow you manage to get on Elena's side, she'll protect you from the originals, despite having her reasons for thinking you're some sort of spy.

If you're human, she'll more than likely try to keep all of the supernatural stuff away from you.

If you happen to get sucked into it, expect her to be by your side more often than not. She's your friend and she doesn't want you to get hurt.

If you're a witch, she'll let you borrow her grimoires and she'll teach you all the spells you don't know.

She'll still try her best to protect you though.

If you're a werewolf, she'll treat you as though you were human.

The only difference is she'll constantly be looking for spells to help ease your transformation.

Whether it's completely stopping your transformation, making it hurt less, or anything else. She'll be looking for a spell that'll help.

Imagine if you will…

Falling asleep on a random bench in RADs courtyard. Now you’re all alone and vulnerable at the mercy of any demon who walks by. Belphie comes over first and lays on you, going to sleep as well and serving as a heat pack. Then comes Beel and he stands guard to protect you both.

Asmo and Satan were taking a walk and spotted the three of you. They come over to protect you as well and to chat with Beel about the upcoming exams.

Levi is next. He came in-person for a test and doesn’t want to be alone any longer so with his brothers he goes. A few minuets after they hear Mammon approaching towards them saying that they need to get away from his human.

Lastly, Lucifer arrives to tell everyone off for not being where there supposed to be but his words die on his tongue when he sees your adorable sleeping face. Beelzebub explains that they were just protecting you since you were alone. He shakes his head at your irresponsibility but joins them all in this task and uses the time to catch up with his brothers.

You wake up then and see all of them talking amongst themselves. They all came for different reasons but stayed for you.

Why?

Because they care about you?

i love being on this site. i love the little community i’ve found and the people who follow me and the mutuals i’ve made friendships with and the mutuals that i’m still getting to know. i love it. but at a certain point it’s hard to justify spending so much time on works that get bad engagement.
