"you should watch this show!!" "what is it about?" "oh it's gay!"
The excluded tags filter on Ao3 is such a fucking lifesaver. I love it so much.
everybody and they mama is into the melvika princess x bodyguard au, so i propose this; sevika x mel x lest. sevika is a seasoned huntress tracking down a cunning vampiress and a charming vastaya. spooky lesbian antics ensue
y'know what I hate the most about the ATSV fandom? They'll give you pages worth of analysis on Miguel, justifying why he did what he did to Miles, but immediately dismiss, disregard, and write off Jess as “mean”, or “a bitch”, “a traitor” or whatever the hell else they say, like she isn't following the same ideals as miguel??? it's canon that she's second in command of the Society, so don't you think she'd be just as deep in this shit as he is? or do y'all not see black women as complex characters? istg, it's easier for y'all to slap a stereotype on them and call it a day. and honestly, the same can be said for how THAT side of the fandom treats margo in contrast to you know who, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms..
we need more werewolf mel STAT
The Arcane fandom loves a vampire/werewolf dynamic but sometimes it’s so obvious the only thought going into it is “rich = vampire, poor = werewolf”
What do you MEAN you think Mel wolf-metaphor, inherited violence Medarda would be the VAMPIRE??? I’m going to die
Catwoman stopped to draw a picture of herself with the stolen necklace. That’s some top notch petty
Best version of BatCat is them being constantly on and off again till They don’t even know if they’re off or on and eventually they get married when they’re like 70 something and are happily domestic for the rest of their lives
and maybe real success looks like
a regulated nervous system.
not comparing yourself to others.
a kind inner dialogue.
being able to show up for yourself.
being able to let go.
knowing your own worth.
having authentic connections.
having good boundaries.
living a life that makes sense to you.
