some people are real artists. like. i don’t know anything about Sufjan Stevens’s dead husband other than the fact that he’s his dead husband, but I love him just because I can viscerally feel how much Sufjan himself loves him through his music. That’s how I know he makes his music for his passion, not because it’s his job.
