Axl Rose: Referred to by Kurt Loder as "maybe the finest hard rock singer currently on the scene, and certainly the most charismatic."

Axl Rose: Decided to release the Use Your Illusion albums separately, knowing that some fans wouldn't have the money to buy it as a double album.

Axl Rose: Use Your Illusion I & II debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 on the US charts, a feat not achieved by any other band.

Axl Rose: Attempted to be a good father figure for Dylan Seymour, his then-girlfriend Stephanie Seymour's son, since he never had one in his life.
