Romance book that focussed a lot on the mental health and the traumas of the main characters and how they affect their relationship. Tw: a lot of sex scenes.

☀︎ 1984 - George Orwell: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

A future where humans and all the media are monitored 24/7, controlled and changed by the government. Very creative and has a great lesson. Tw: torture.

☀︎ Animal Farm - George Orwell: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

Group of animals that start to run its farm after expelling the humans in it. This books is like a metaphor of some events of World War 2. I recommend to buy the edition for schools as it explains very well the book.

☀︎ Six of Crows - Leigh Bardugo: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

A group of thieves have to rescue a scientist from a castle in order to gain a lot of money and to prevent a war. Romance and trauma also appear in the book. It’s very cool and intelligent as nothing is never as it looks.

☀︎ If We Were Villains - M.L.Rio: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

A group of students of a theatre class find one of their companions dead. They have to hide to the police and to the rest of their colleagues that they saw him die while they deal with bad addictions, love, insecurities and a very competitive environment. Tw: violence, drugs and sex scenes.

☀︎ Dune - Frank Herbert: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

A boy and it’s family move to another planet that barely have water. There, they attacked, and him and his mother have to scape and survive in the dessert (the book is more complex than this but it’s very difficult to explain the whole story and I would also give u a lot of spoilers if I do so). This book is very dense and not for everyone, but u should definitely give it a try if u like sci-fi, politics and classics.

☀︎ The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde: ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩/5

A man sells his soul in exchange for being young and handsome eternally. The picture that a friend made of him will become uglier as he grows and commits sins.
