A cute pen doodle I drew in my sketchbook last night.

I probably should have put her in uniform, now that I think about it, but let’s just say it’s her day-off (shhh).

I’m not trying to excuse any of what Varian has done, but this scene definitely had me shouting “OH C’MON!” at the TV screen on his behalf. I know they were just having a “thank goodness everyone is safe” hug, but they’re having that family moment literally mere feet from where Varian is breaking down at the feet of his father’s encased body after his latest failure to save him.

NOT. COOL.

Something went wrong, Varian’s crushing under the weight of his failure, and he’s seeing his friends get their happily ever afters while ignoring him and his plight. If there’s a single scene that can summarize his journey to the dark side, this is it.

If you guys are ever worried about your art changing or not being good enough at it, just look at this mess my friend made me post. Old art that don’t look the same.

Alchemist’s Log, Entry #103: Weird Rocks “I’ve discovered some strange-looking rocks near the border of the village. They’re black with a metallic sort of shine and unnervingly sharp. They also appear to grow in clusters, like crystals. I’ve never seen anything like them before… But the strangest thing about these rocks is that they just sprouted up out of nowhere! And they haven’t ceased growing yet. Each spike continues to grow, indefinitely.

So far, I haven’t been able to collect any valuable data about these rocks, but I’m going to keep trying. If more spikes like these begin to grow regularly, they could become a big problem for Old Corona.”
