Gathering inspiration in the daily and mundane as well as books and any kind of narrative medium, Nicolas endeavours to tell stories, big and small, by working on strong, evocative and intricate black and white compositions.
He recently won a Gold Medal from the New York Society of Illustrators and a Gold Award from Spectrum. Available for all sorts of freelance jobs. Represented by Shannon Associates.

"Nous pouvons être les amis." So I started drawing this French raven named Bruno last winter during some high anxiety moments. He's cynical, a chain smoker, and loves Metropolis. For some reason, he's popped back into my doodles. I think the hare's name is Gerard, but I'm not sure who he is yet...

Just started rereading Factotum from the Foundling's Tale series. I feel just as excited as I was when I got it for the first time! If there is any author that has inspired me the most to create my own world and write about it, it's D. M. Cornish.
