"is it that time already? i'm not sure i'm ready to say goodbye." he pouted at you, his grip tight on your hand.

"see, this is what happens when you slack off. your work piles up and you have to do it all the night before the deadline." you playfully yanked your hands from his and tapped his nose, "and that means... less time spent with your beautiful, perfect, amazing lover."

but what if he says yes? what if he loves you just as much, perhaps even more than you love him? what if hearing you say those three sacred words is the one thing that could stop him from going on this death wish of an expedition?

your mind was a war zone, both sides arguing with each other until eventually, one took the throne.

you let out a defeated sigh as you ran after childe, your heartbeat travelling up to your head from the nerves you felt for what you were about to do, "childe! wait!"

childe’s ears perked up as he heard your voice and felt his stomach flutter. he turned around, eager to hear what you had to say, only for you to come crashing into his chest. you wrapped your arms around his midriff tightly and nuzzled your head against him, "stay... please. even if it's just one night. stay with me a little longer... i-" you pulled your head off his chest and looked up at his face, noticing the glassiness of his eyes, "i love you." the three words came out barely more than a whisper, but still loud enough for childe to hear, "i love you, ajax."

you nodded avidly and bit your bottom lip to stop it from visibly trembling, close to shedding tears from the overwhelming emotions you felt.

childe caressed your cheeks with the pads of his thumbs and pulled you in for a tender kiss. it was soft, and slow, and sweet; just how you had always imagined. your hands grasped the collar of his jacket to pull him in closer, trying to feel as much of him against you as you could.

he pulled back for air, laughing at the tears that stained both of your cheeks, "i was waiting for you to say that for the longest time, y'know? i love you too..." childe wrapped his arms around your shoulders and pulled you in for a warm hug, letting his head fall to kiss the top of yours, "i love you more than life itself."

XIAO

“thank you for today, i had a blast! good night, xiao.” you stopped at your door and turned around to send him a warm smile.

“t-today...” today was great.

xiao had it bad for you, and all he found himself thinking about, dreaming about, was you. he wanted to get closer to you; to understand you, but was unsure how to go about doing so. he consulted with zhongli regarding mortal courting rituals, and was told that taking them on 'dates' was customary.

so, xiao had asked you earlier in the week whether you wanted to accompany him on a picnic at qingyun peak, to which you happily said yes. you indeed did have a blast, as did xiao, although he wasn't very vocal about it.

he loved watching your face light up with curiosity as he told you stories about liyue, he loved the little giggles you let out when he said something funny, he loved watching you frolic around in the fields chasing crystalflies and feeding cranes.

he remembered zhongli telling him that first dates sometimes end with a confession and a kiss, both of which xiao couldn't find the nerve to do, “... forget it, it’s nothing. good night.”

you wanted to hear what he had to say, but respected that he most likely wasn’t ready to indulge you in his secrets. you nodded at him with a soft smile and turned around to open your door, but stopped as the wheels in your mind began to churn.

xiao was unusually... nervous today. you noticed how his palms often got sweaty to the point there were tiny pools in the middle of them, how his hand shook as he placed a glaze lily he picked in your hair, how he would snap his head away from you every time you turned to look at him, how he fumbled over his words.

did xiao... like you? as more than a friend?

as you felt a surge of confidence course through you, you turned back around to face xiao. his gaze travelled up from the ground to look at you, head tilted in confusion as he saw you bite your lip to suppress a wide smile, "is someth-"

xiao’s voice caught in his throat and his eyes went wide as he felt the warmth of your lips on his cheek. you may have only kissed him for just a mere second, but his whole face flushed red with embarrassment and he began to stutter.

you giggled at his response and simply waved at him as you turned back around to head inside your home, “good night!”

the yaksha’s fingers came up to touch the spot on his cheek where you lips just were, and his heart began to pound from elation. the feeling was foreign to him, but most certainly was welcomed. perhaps he would indulge you in his 'not-so-secret' secret tomorrow.

ZHONGLI

"i'm beat, i think i'm gonna hit the hay. good night, zhongli!"

"good night, (y/n)." zhongli averted his gaze from the river in front of him to smile at you and give you a wave.

you reciprocated his actions before walking back to your house. after letting out a tired sigh after falling on your bed, it wasn’t hard for you to immediately drift off into a deep slumber.

“zhongli!” you shot up, panting, eyes darting around your room trying to make sense of where you were. two hours had passed since you fell asleep and you were woken up by a nightmare. as you took in your surroundings, you managed to catch a glimpse of zhongli outside your window, still in the same spot he was when you bid him good night.

it didn't take much for you to jump out of your bed and run out of the house towards him.

zhongli turned around with furrowed brows upon hearing the sound of urgent footsteps nearing him and was shocked to see you running to him with tears staining your cheeks, “(y/n)? is something the matter?"

before he could react, you toppled into his chest, wrapping your arms around him tightly, "i had a nightmare that you died... it was s-so scary, i don't know what i'd do w-without you..."

he felt his heart sink upon hearing you cry and tremble against him,"shh, it's alright, i'm here... you’ll never be without me by your side." he cooed as his hands instinctively came up to rub soothing circles into your back. you and zhongli hadn't ever made physical contact like this before, but something about the way your body melted against his chest felt so right; so addicting, "if you wish, you may lay with me. perhaps being next to me will calm your mind."

pulling your head out of his chest, you wiped the tears off your face and looked up at him, "you'd really be okay with that?"

some minutes had passed since you had both gotten in the hammock, and you had already drifted off to sleep. zhongli admired how peaceful you looked like this; with the moonlight dancing on your skin and lips curved upwards into a gentle smile. he impulsively leaned his head forwards to press a lingering kiss to your forehead, feeling his heart flutter at how you subconsciously nuzzled your head into him in response.

he whispered against your head, "the night grows darker, so rest while you can. may you have pleasant dreams."

ALBEDO

"i think i’m gonna go to bed. good night, albedo!” you got up from your seat in front of him and sent him a wave.

"good night, (y/n). may you have sweet dreams." albedo murmured in response, his eyes not leaving his sketchpad. you wanted to know what he was drawing, but were too nervous to ask, and too respectful to take a peek for yourself.

you shrugged it off and turned around to walk away, only to do a double take, staring at him in awe. you had an undeniable crush on the albedo and often found yourself admiring him, but tonight, he looked especially stunning under the moonlight.

"... you don't require me to read you a bedtime story, do you?"

"huh?" you shook your head out of the trance he held you in and furrowed your brows, embarrassed.

albedo sighed and turned his attention to gaze at you softly, "you're still standing here. is there a reason you haven't left to your room yet?"

you shifted from one foot to another, feeling yourself heat up, "oh, um... i just... uh- it's nothing."

"are you sure? you know you can share anything with me, right? my ears are always yours," he cocked a curious brow at you.

"uh... um..."

"do i make you nervous?" albedo sounded genuine, but if you didn't know any better, the tone in which he spoke was almost teasing.

you let out a breath you didn't know you were holding in, "no? hah, what makes you think that?"

"humans stutter over their words and sweat when they feel anxious," he gestured to the stray drop of sweat on your forehead, and put his sketchpad down to walk over to you, "is there something about me that makes you uncomfortable?"

"oh, gosh- i, uh..." you looked everywhere but his eyes, feeling scrutinized under his gaze. you so badly wanted to scream at him that you had a giant crush on him, that you also probably loved him, but your nerves got the best of you, "...no?"

you shifted your gaze from the ground to his eyes, noticing a hint of amusement in them.

"can i show you what i was sketching?" he reached back to grab his sketchpad, opening it up to a page and handing it to you, "it's not quite done yet, but... it's almost there."

your brows raised as you saw that what he was sketching was, in fact, you. in his drawing, you were sitting at a table with a novel in one hand and a cup of tea in the other, just like you really were before you got up to go to bed.

"i look beautiful here." you admired yourself, fingers tracing over the outline of your face that he drew.

"you always look beautiful." he stared at you endearingly and felt his chest flutter when you looked up at him with a timid smile and soft eyes.

"really?"

albedo wasn't sure what overtook him, but he gently took your hands in his, swiping his thumb over yours reassuringly, "really. if you don't believe me, i'll remind you every day, ever hour of it, until you do."

DILUC

“oh, look at the time! time for the darknight hero to hit the streets of mondstadt and save innocent civilians from danger." you stated dramatically, slicing the air with the pretend claymore you held in your hands, "i'll let you get to it. good night, diluc!”

diluc shyly smiled at you, finding your childlike demeanour charming. "good night..." his voice trailed off, almost as if he was going to say something, and subconsciously took a hold of your arm to stop you from getting up.

you turned to look at him with a head tilt and confused pout, "were you going to say something?"

he shook his head with a quiet grunt, and furrowed his brows upon seeing that he had a grasp on your arm. diluc was quick to pull his hand away, tilting his head downwards to hide the flush on his face, "never mind. you should get going."

you gasped excitedly and immediately sat back down next to him, resting your chin in your palms as you looked up at him with curious eyes, “no, tell me! is it a secret? i promise i won’t tell anyone.”

diluc's breath hitched in his throat as he shifted his gaze from the ground to you, feeling his heart skip a beat at the way you looked at him in awe, “i really shouldn’t-”

“pleaaase; what if i’m dead by tomorrow? wouldn’t you regret not telling me?”

“you shouldn’t joke around like that.” his voice came out harsher than he intended, and he internally cringed at himself.

“d’awww okay, okay, you’re right. i won’t pry. for now. i’ll get it out of you, though… somehow..." you leaned in playfully to examine his face, your lips merely inches apart. diluc's eyes went wide, unable to look away from you as he tried averting his gaze, "… anyway, good night!!”

diluc found himself staring at you as you walked away, not being able to shake your words from his mind.

what if you really did die by tomorrow? after losing his two of his family members, arguably three, he didn't think he'd be able to live without the next closest thing he had to it: you. he also didn't think he'd ever forgive himself for not letting you know how he felt about you.

he was abruptly cut off by you wrapping your arms around his midriff and placing a haste, yet loving kiss to his lips. he short-circuited at the sudden contact, and felt his heart rate pick up. diluc stood motionless for a few seconds while he processed what just occurred, and hesitantly reciprocated your actions by wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer against him.

"took you long enough." you whispered against his neck as you let out a tired yawn.

diluc smiled against your hair, wondering whether his feelings towards you were really that obvious. he opened his mouth to ask you, but stopped upon seeing that your eyes were closed and your lips were upturned peacefully.

he supposed he'll just have to wait until tomorrow to ask.

woke up at 7:05, brush teeth, change, eat. gather at padang,, they gave a bottle o water, gardenia bread, oat crunch and cream o...! In award ceremony got one dude win second place and bought his phone up the stage. He held it diagonally to the audience and it was a huge text saying "EZ" while the principal gives him a medal. that was jerky but funny.

When we got home i showered and we left for hometown! Down the lift my mom said she'll take the next one since ours was packed. when we arrive at LG1 floor an uncle was standing facing the doors of the lift and my dad was mad bc he was in a rush then they almost bumped into each other, he didn't even say sorry, so i smiled and nodded slightly at the uncle and he smiled! good mooOooOod~~~

Bought filet o fish, fries and cheeseburger. 10/10. In ipoh ate chicken rice.. i ate mostly tauge and rice. 7/10

ah ma made boiled buns it was mediocre, don't wanna Hurt her feelings though.. >-<

Diary of 6 March 2022

i was dreaming of some vacation at the sea but it felt stressful. then i got teleported to my grandma's house and a pigeon flew in. so i woke up! i immediately went to check my phone.. haha....

i banned myself from scrolling in the morning and went to read my book. after a while i ate 3 cookies and went in the car with my parents! they are bringing me to Kepong to eat vietnamese food located in a shoplot under a condo~

OMG! it's not open yet.... so we went to a hawker stall we gushed over before finding a parking spot near the vietnamese restaurant. we actually planned to eat there next time since we already wanted to eat at the vietnamese restaurant. it's fate i guess!

i was probably getting weird stares from wearing pjs. its a graphic shirt of a thai god. it's very pretty!! and black PE pants...?? anyway we found a seat really quickly~!!

i ordered black pepper pork stomach soup with rice while my mom and dad ordered porridge and char kuey teow respectively. mine arrived first!! IT WAS RM9. and the soup and all was in a medium sized claypot. IT WAS FULL WITH SOUP AND MEAT????? AND... he gave me a lot of rice too. RM9!??!?!?! 2 AMERICAN DOLLARS!!! Wow.. hehe. what a deal!

when waiting for the food to come my dad called a char siew pau vendor in Pudu, KL to reserve 10 steamed buns for him because the vendor is super popular.. if he doesn't call he'll be too late!

waiting for my dad to come back, i could either daydream or read a book as i didn't bring my phone so i decided to take pictures of strangers posing for instagram photos in the street. my mom deleted them. they went to pet cats under a motorcycle after.

after my dad returned, we promised to buy 2 bottles of soy milk for our aunt and her daughters living near us. BUT I WANTED TO PEE! and her house is far from kl. everytime we're on our way to her house i always burst a kidney aye!

the store my dad wanted to buy soy milk from was a truck next to a shopping complex so you could say i was lucky! we passed by a coding/engineering class on the way. I SAW A KID MAKE A 3D MODEL (on Blender?)!! i want to do it too but i'm afraid of giving up halfway.

after i pissed my dad and i went to buy sengkuang (Jícama), soy milk and shaving cream. my dad passed by AEON and bought jicama, grapes and two cucumbers! when waiting for the soy milk outside he went to caring pharmacy in the shoplots in front of the exit of the mall. i waited outside in the 38 celsius weather... #RIP

we returned to the car where my mom was waiting in after he bought the cream and milk. then we sent the milk to our aunt and went home. it gets boring. after i finish reading my novel, start a new novel and play video games only do i shower. it's 5pm. what a stinky baby!

lessons learnt at educastle's seminar!

25/6 last sunday, i attended educastle's seminar on how to be motivated to learn!

through this talk, i learnt that LEARNING is a choice. it will NOT end after writing that PhD thesis📃. what matters is your curiosity🔍. noone is content with knowing only surface level textbook knowledge, they must also want to know the depths of the iceberg! 🤔

you are a student🧑🏼‍🎓not because you are binded to high school🏫, but because you are learning. an old man without a degree can also be a student. you choose to learn than stay idle, so congratulations, learner! 📚

a way to be constantly motivated to learn is to develop curiosity for the workings of life🤯. for me, i am extremely interested in the fields of mechanics and engineering🥼, so i will learn that as an interest.

a fact i learnt was that you will remember more of something when you question it🤔, more than if the speaker was directly spitting out facts you don't want to know about.🥱

to understand in depth about real-life problems🤨, you can use the 7 layer technique in which you question your answer 7 times💭. you can use this to develop higher order thinking skills🤔 and also know the contributing factors to your dilemmas.

why do i crave validation? because __. why __? because ___. why...... .... x7
