I love seeing people complaining about fandons. Every now and then i see someone just saying "oh X fandom is so toxic" "oh, of course they were from THAT fandom"
And then they are like, Dangaronpa fans or Undertale fans. You shouldn't think yourself worthy of judging someone based on their sins, if your own are just as bad
Currently developing a new Dogman AU, so have some doodles in the meanwhile
Since Boku No Hero has come to an end, i have one last thing i feel i have to share with you guys
I did not care for those two relationship at all!
I just didn't like it
That Dogman's lore is weirdly tragic and dark is nothing new, but i think that people overlook the fact that Flippy literally DIED and was resurrected as a cyborg fish obsessed on doing evil
Or that Big Jim's parents died in a car crash and he was inspired to do good because the people around him actually showed him the kindness he deserved
Or that Petey's probably commited homicide on more than one occasion
Dogman knew that wasn't true. He wasn't perfect, no one was...the people of this city made that very clear, especially to him
But he liked to believe that, even for a moment, he liked to believe all the lies that Petey had sweetly poisoned his ears with. He knew he shouldn't trust the cat, but every night when he's asleep he swear he could hear Petey's voice in his mind, echoing in your dreams, haunting him with the overwhelming gentleness he used to have.
No one ever calls him perfect. Hell, they hardly even let out a "thank you" when he saves the city, or even a "good boy". Oh how he misses how things used to be, before the fight, before joining the force, before everything.
He misses the nights he spend with Petey, helping on the lab, cuddling on the bed till eventually falling asleep. It was odd to have so much emptness in his bed, he wasn't used to so much silence in his mind. The cat was always so loud...
You're perfect
He knew that wasn't true. But right there in Petey's arms, he felt like it was
(A short poem about Dogman Heartbreak AU)
I just realized that the collar Powder's using in the happy AU is actually the same Vi's using in the beginning scene
Since i posted Egyptian Petey and Dogman digitalized, i decided to post Heartbreak AU Petey as well!
Honestly, i didn't quite liked this result, unlike the others this one wasn't made using the sketch as a reference, so that's why it's a bit odd looking. I was still getting used to Photoshop when i made this, so don't be so harsh.
Those are the official Petey's colors, as you can see he have a lot of similarities to young Grampa, the few differences is that his hair is more of a faded blond (because of Grace) and his color palette also different. I tried making his palette an opposite of Grampa for the most part, Petey have a lot of blacks and greens to oppose Grampa whites and pinks.
Originally i wanted to use blue to draw in connection between Petey and Dogman, but i decide otherwise because i liked how the green looked on Petey.
I think there's too many colors, but i guess that's a beginners mistake and i didn't wanted his pants to look exactly like his boots 😅

A detail that a lot of people seem to forget about Dogman backstory is that the reason he and Knight tried to disarmed the bomb in the first place is because they wanted to prove themselves to Chief
And that's honestly so tragic if you think about it, especially because in some issues it seems that Chief is somewhat protective of Dogman, he gets him out of jail in Brawl of the Wild, he panics when Dogman goes into the mayor's burning house to save him in Grime and Punishment and is usually the one to defend him when people are being unfair with him.
I wonder if Chief have some sort of guilty conscience about Knight's death and tries to make upe for it with Dogman
