i was in a thrift shop the other day and they were playing the most unsettling variations of normal christmas music, culminating in this rendition of the 12 days of christmas except it was like 12 guys all singing over each other and going “no!” and interrupting the lyrics with random other phrases until they deadass just started singing 5 golden rings to toto’s africa. can anyone confirm that this is a real song and not that i stroked so hard i astral projected into a universe where everything is somehow worse than it is here

Y'all ever think that the reason we ship fictional characters together is that the actual characters we love so much will never be able to meet us and return the feeling so we project our love into the ship and thus continue our obsession. Same with real people too. Like celebrities we’ll never be able to meet for more then like five minutes so they can’t truly know us as a person like a close friend or family member so we just… ship them with someone else/each other so we get some sense of love from them.

page 1 of a ship comic of sanji, ace & luffy (ace & sanji focused) in a modern alternate universe set in the Baratie, where sanji works at. The tips of two black haired individuals are in frame, tussling, one saying "that's 6 to 0 now! Give it up!" While the other yells "no way! Rematch!"
Sanji looks exasperated while holding a clipboard, thinking 'Damn, I could hear this table from across the restaurant. These two guys are gonna cause me some trouble, huh.'
Sanji: Sorry to interrupt whatever the hell this is, but are you ready-
he trails off as he realises it's luffy, who waves at him plus a mysterious man who he's been arm wrestling with.
Sanji, blurting: Luffy? What're you doing here?
Sanji, thinking: and who's this bozo?
Luffy: Hey! I don't think you've met my brother!
Ace tries to introduce himself but gets cut off by luffy slamming his arm down, and yells that he's a cheater.
Luffy, ignoring this: whew! Finally beat you! That means I order first!

Page 2. Luffy smiles, oblivious to a free hand creeping towards him
Luffy: Sanji! Thank god you're here! I want you to bring me a big steak
he is cut off and gets his lips grabbed cartoonishly by ace as revenge, who ignores luffy's hands grabbing at the offending arm and his muffled whines.
Ace: Ah, apologies for causin' a ruckus here
Ace bows while someone from the next booth side eyes the two. Sanji thinks 'Nice manners, but he's not letting go.'
Ace: so you're sanji, huh? I've heard a lot about you from my baby brother here.
Sanji, surprised: Oh shit. I'm guessing you're Ace then? I've heard a bit about you as well.
Ace, winking with a smile: surely only cool stuff though, right?
A mini crayon flashback of luffy saying "when Ace was in middle school he wore eyeliner and tight black jeans every day" appears.
Sanji smirks: yeah, something like that. What are you two doing here anyway? Trying to make my shift harder?

Ace: nah, not hoping to! Loof told me you cook up some crazy good food here, & I wanted to try the real deal. So does our other brother, but he's takin' a piss right now.
Luffy shakes off Ace's grip on his lips for a sec before his hand returns as a full grip on Luffy's whole face.
Ace: But, if it's no problem, could we get something whipped up by you personally?
Sanji sits on the edge of the table, legs crossed.
Sanji: Well, the old bastard's kicked me out of the kitchen for stupid reasons tonight.
a big black box appears that says Stupid Reason: Violence. Ace's face falls slightly.
Ace: Damn, that's too bad. I'm sorry to hear that, we'll just have to-
he gets interrupted by Sanji, flashing a thumbs up and a grin.
Sanji: However, I can still wriggle my way back in there one way or another! I'll be sure to blow your expectations out of the water.
Ace perks back up
Ace: Sweet! Thanks a bunch, Sanji! I was told you were the best cook in the world...
Ace winks with a smile
Ace: But I didn't know you were such a charming guy, too! I could fall for ya right now!
Sanji blushes and starts stammering until a big 'gah' is heard

Luffy has broken free once more.
Luffy, yelling: I want meat!
Ace: oh, sorry loof-
and then gets cut off by luffy biting down on his hand in anger and desperation.
Ace, yelling: Ack! No! No biting! That was a rule!
Luffy, yelling more while he's being shaken: You're taking way too long! I'm starving!
Sanji, thinking: this is a lot
Ace begins to retort but notices his stomach rumbling
Ace: Oh shoot, me too actually.
He turns back to Sanji with a smile
Ace: Anyway, we'll have two of everything to nibble on while we wait! he holds up two fingers like a peace sign, as does Luffy while he nods with his mouth still enveloping Ace's fist.
Sanji picks his clipboard and pen back up and says "yeah, alright" and then freezes in place with a desolate expression.
Sanji: To start?
