(Please reblog, I'm genuinely curious about the majority option here.)
Saw your answer to the Bucky and Loki bingo and also saw an old post about a couple bingo (this one). So what are your thoughts in Bucky and Loki as romantic partners?
...Nah.
I can only see the two being platonic, tbh. It's like Stephen x Loki, it doesn't make sense to me and feels a bit forced, ngl.
I think I'm already tired of the 'all of one character groups into a collective of multiverse heroes' trope. Or whatever you want to call it.
I just tried to watch 'My adventures with Superman' and I was mentally checked out the entire seventh episode as soon as we found out about the 'league of Lois'.
Honestly, that trope is so dumb. I'm not the only one who thinks that, right?
Person: Hey, don't call that MLP character 'Derpy Hooves', that's insulting and ableist! Me: Oh, okay, what should I call her, then? Person: Call her 'Ditzy Doo'. :) Me: ...How is 'Ditzy Doo' less insulting than Derpy Hooves? Person: Well, 'Derpy' is ableist towards people with mental disabilities. Me: And 'Ditzy' is a misogynistic insult towards a woman perceived as stupid, especially if they're a blonde (Which Ditzy happens to also be). ...And you think naming a FEMALE CHARACTER 'Ditzy' is fine?
Can someone explain why people say this? How is 'Ditzy' less bad than 'Derpy'? /gen
Why was Steven King hired at the bank?
Because he was Pennywise.
Y/N and Thor are playing video games in the living room, with Loki in the kitchen making some tea. Everything is perfectly peaceful and fine... until Loki is suddenly assaulted with the sound of both men screaming at the top of their lungs. Seriously, it sounds like one of them just got their arm chopped off or something.
Loki immediately runs in, “What’s going on?! Are you alright?!” To find Y/N in Thor’s arms, like a Scooby Doo cartoon, Thor standing on a chair on the opposite side of the room.
“What’s going on?!” Y/N yells in a panic. “We almost got attacked by a beast, that’s what’s going on!”
“Beast?” Loki looks around, nothing seeming out of place. “...Where?”
“Are you blind?!”
“How can you not see it brother, It’s right there!” The two point at the coffee table in the middle of the room. Loki looks over to see... a praying mantis sitting on a magazine.
Loki raises an eyebrow. “What? This little thing?”
“Little?!” Thor and Y/N say in unison.
“That... thing is anything but ‘little’!”
“Thor’s right, that thing is massive!” Loki sighs. He wasn’t expecting Y/N to be this bothered with bugs, but growing up with Thor has made him more or less desensitized to the ‘horror’.
“Alright, just let me-” He picks up another of the magazines and rolls it up.
“Wait, no!” Loki looks up at Y/N and Thor, who give him pleading eyes. “...Please don’t kill it.” Loki groans in annoyance, but complies anyway.
He puts his hand down next to the mantis, which, after noticing his hand, (and with some slight prodding from Loki’s other hand.) crawls onto it. Both Thor and Y/N gasp in horror as Loki effortlessly picks his hand up and walks past them. Loki opens a window, sets the mantis on the leaf of a nearby bush, and closes it.
Thor puts Y/N down as Loki is dusting his hands off. “I’ll never understand how you can bear to touch those things.”
“Yeah Loki, you’re crazy! That thing could’ve bitten you!” Loki rolls his eyes as Y/N’s statement.
“Yes, it could’ve, and I’m sure it would’ve been a devastating injury.”
Loki could barely believe that both men he cared for most in the universe, his brother AND his best friend, were afraid of insects. How they were afraid of such small, harmless creatures when they’ve fought real monsters and legions of alien soldiers was beyond him.
...But Loki couldn’t help himself, as he chuckled under his breath on his walk back to the kitchen.
If I made a Batman movie, I'd cast Robert Carlyle as Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane.
Look at the roles he's played and tell me that man wouldn't do a fantastic job. Whether you want him more serious, or more 'hroo hraa'-esq, he'd play the part well.
I feel it in my bones. He's the ultimate choice.

Forgive me if there's something in the comics that makes these opinions obsolete or something, I haven't read all Marvel comics, but-
I think it's ridiculous that the MCU made Asgardians aliens rather than actual gods. Especially given that they made Egyptian gods canon later with Moon Knight.
First of all, if you're gonna make some of them gods, why not make all of them gods? That doesn't make sense? Second, someone pointed this out in a post I saw some time ago, but based on the timeline and the canon ages of the characters, it makes no sense. According to that 'canon' timeline, Loki would've been a child during the time the Norse would've known about them to create stories, which doesn't align at all. So even without the Egyptian gods, it makes no sense.
Yeah, yeah, I get it, the 'Eternals' and shit, but like-... really? Maybe I'm biased just because I know the original runs had the Asgardians as actual gods with immortality and everything, but that makes far more sense to me then the MCU handles it. I'm just saying.
I could go on multiple tangents about stuff in the MCU, especially about stuff after Phase 3, but honestly, I would really rather pretend Phase 4+ doesn't exist and just keep my imperfect, but still fun, Phases three and below (Minus Ragnarok).
I just come up with the weirdest and most out-of-nowhere ideas sometimes.
Like, I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, then all of the sudden my brain goes: ‘Do you think [Insert batman character here] would like Beastars?’ And now I can’t stop thinking about how Mr Freeze made a mlp reference in Injustice 2-
Weirdly enough, I feel like Killer Croc might like it. And not just because he’s basically a giant crocodile-
I mean like, the murder solution arc I feel would probably pique his interest, especially the cold open to the series. The whole ‘Carnivore prejudice/The urge to eat your neighbors’ thing especially might be something he can relate to in the series.
Idk, I just have these weird thoughts sometimes so I thought I’d put it out there since I wanted to post something today but didn’t have anything in mind.
