one fun difference between phoenix and apollo as pov characters is that phoenix is a completely average guy with a completely average level of pop-culture awareness, so with him it’s very easy to gauge how popular something is supposed to be - he’s pretty aware of the steel samurai, he’ll go to see a max galactica show if it’s in town, he recognises matt engarde when gumshoe mentions him, etc. like if phoenix knows a thing it’s popular you know? like he doesn’t have huge special interests or huge dislikes he’s a very follow the crowd guy, the things he’s doing are usually things maya is extremely passionate about and he’s indifferent but doesn’t consider it bizarre. apollo on the other hand is a little freak with a law hyperfixation who lives under a rock. it’s hard to gauge how popular the gavinners or the gramaryes are actually supposed to be because this guy wouldn’t know them anyway. he’s also rarely indifferent to things - he’s either absolutely loving something or telling klavier to his face he should stop making music because it’s shit. this makes him a more challenging protagonist from a world-building perspective, but an objectively much funnier one
Hi! I'm fandomFriend! Pronouns are she/her, I am 21, and I am a fan of far too many fandoms to list. Currently though, I am very trapped in undertale/deltarune, homestuck, MHA, ace attorney, tf2, the hobbit, malevolent, and TMA. No homophobia, transphobia, racism, or general shaming of fans allowed here. Otherwise... I guess enjoy anything I post? I guess? My Ao3 is CM_03.
