Athena: …you were PREGNANT AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME?!
Odysseus: what?- no-
Athena: DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT IS?! I WAS TRAINING YOU!
Odysseus: no I wasn’t the one-
Athena: THAT POOR BABY WAS PROBABLY SO SQUISHED IN YOUR HELMET! LOOK AT HOW SMALL HE IS!!
Feel free to add your favorite race below if I did not have space to add it! Ooo and if you have a favorite homebrew race you can add that too!
100 is kind of a lot for "quantity of Koroks who tried to go camping but coincidentally all got too tired to move", so here's my personal headcanon:
There is one (1) Korok who actually tried to join his friends in camping and see post-Upheaval Hyrule, but got too tired to move and needed to be rescued by Mr. Hero.
And as soon as you rescued him, he told everyone in Korok Forest about how the cool, brave, awesome Mr. Hero personally hand-carried him to his friend.
So now every time a set of camping Koroks spots Mr. Hero in the distance, they get really excited and rock-paper-scissors over who gets to race ahead and flop in front of the hero like a puppy who doesn't want to leave the dog park, claiming they can't move and need to be carried.
Very random bits of art wisdom I learned over the years bc I'm bored on the bus:
If you use black for shading it'll muddy up your colors (not saying do not do it ever cause I'm sure some ppl make it work but still)
Use references kids
Like seriously who came up with the idea that refs are bad
I pinky promise you don’t have to pull poses, outfits, etc out of your artist ass
Drawin' chompers? Lower canines always in front of upper canines
The secret to the other eye is not copy pasting the first, but drawing both together as opposed to fully rendering them one at a time
Styles are annoyingly overrated. How about we realize the value of experimenting and being versatile eh
Step out of your comfort zone. Will it suck at first? I mean yeah probably but there's no other way to learn something you wanna learn
Idk what ppl are on about hands, it's shoes that are the real devil here
Also while I'm at it, have a "comfort subject" that takes little effort to draw, for when you really wanna do something but don't feel particularly inspired
It's also a good little bit of ego boost
Take breaks. Seriously. Don't be like me. And stretch.
Half the fun of designing a creature is figuring out its anatomy (but i mean I'm a nerd so take this with a grain of salt)
Textured brushes are your friends, but they can make something a lot messier than intended so watch out for that
Learn just a little bit of color theory (no not the children's hospital that isn't even actual color theory, funnily enough)
Cutting corners is valid, but try not to end up completely dependant on certain tools
Name your files something other than keyboard smashes. Trust me.
Treat your microns like newborns and don't let that one fking classmate that presses the pen like their life depends on it borrow them i swear to fucking god-
There's no one size fits all for art, maybe every single bit of advice i just gave is complete useless bs to u and that's fair
Based on in-game emotes I conclude that Vi is the girlfriend who knows all the sick moves while Cait actually can't dance to save her life.
Bonus:
I’m gnashing my teeth like a child of Cain
If this is a prison I’m willing to bite my own chain
"I just can't stand having anyone else betray me."
My contribution to Leodia Week this year: Crossover AU with Elden Ring 🌞 🌚
For people who know a little bit about ER it should be obvious who they are stand-ins for in the original lore haha. Anyways lore dump for this AU below the cut
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As an infant, Diana was found orphaned by the Knights of Leyndell, Royal Capital. They took her in among their ranks and, once she came of age, allowed her to train with the other initiates, hoping to mold her into a loyal servant of the Golden Order.
During that time she befriended Leona, a fellow knight initiate of mysterious origin with fiery red locks and an even fierier spirit in battle.
However, while Leona remained fully devout to the Erdtree's cause, over the years Diana saw her own faith in the Golden Order begin to waver, especially once she discovered their treatment of non-human races such as the Albinaurics and Misbegotten. She frequently challenged the will of her superiors, becoming a thorn in the side to the Royal Capital.
This tension reached breaking point when as a late teen, Diana was revealed to be an Empyrean, someone capable of forming a connection with an Outer God. And so, Diana's very existence became a threat to the reigning Goddess and the Greater Will. Knowing the schematics of the Golden Order and fearing for her life, Diana fled the Capital.
Leona was heartbroken, for as far as she knew, her friend disappeared overnight. In truth, Diana went on to Liurnia, where she discovered the Full Moon and eventually came to lead the Raya Lucaria Academy.
Years later, Leona, now a Champion of the Golden Order, was tasked to lead the golden host and conquer Leyndell's surrounding territories in the name of the Greater Will. Her aggressive campaign lead her to Liurnia and the front steps of the Raya Lucaria Academy.
She did not expect to see her old friend, now a fully fledged Queen of Caria, standing on the battlefield and single-handedly repelling the Leyndell army's assault, aided by the majesty of the night sky she conjured.
Daughters Of Lightning
Yes I know they never met or interacted in canon but these two are character foils and you can’t convince me otherwise.
