I’m VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version) including the vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams from Paramore and Fall Out Boy. Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. Can we please address the subject of Aragorn's costumes?

Specifically the fact that he dresses very differently in Rivendell then he does anywhere else.

Exhibit A: Aragorn's usual garb

Exhibit B: Practical for a Ranger. Even Grima Wormtongue says "his cloth was poor" (obviously a snob as well as a creep).

But in Rivendell, Aragorn dresses like this: That is some fancy attire. Silk and gold cloth? He swans around like this the whole time he's in Rivendell.

He dresses like Elven royalty- I mean it seriously...

You are never going to convince me that Aragorn did not have a whole wardrobe of his own in Rivendell.

I mean strictly speaking he is royalty in Rivendell. He's Elrond's foster son and betrothed to his daughter.
