Ok but could you imagine if Adam ended up in John’s Dean’s care?

Sam would be about 12/13 and still looking like he’s 9 because he hit puberty late and Dean looking like he’s in his early 20s from all this trauma he gained as a child

Dean who just lost another 18 years of his life to play parent(s) to another one of John’s kids

Dean would be out one day with the two, Adam babbling on his hip as he holds Sam’s hand to cross the street and some lady coos and says he has cute kids

Dean stalling in the middle of the road before Sam whines about ice cream

He a father to a 5 year old toddler and a young teenager

sam's canonically obsessed with dean and dean's safety so... some cute little tracking device hooked inside impala with great care and love before leaving for college? some dubious few-days long trips he'd take while giving his friends a vague idea of what he was up to like the good boy he is (family stuff, man...yeah, i know, just a day or two..you get how it is... No everything's good.. what do you mean there's something strange in my eyes?) creeping outside dean's motel room or watching him like his prey in some dive... giggling like a schoolgirl when dean's around in California way too more often than you'd expect him to be and noting down each such occurrence with the precision he better be showing in his class.... Of course the best part of it is dean knows and sam knows he knows and neither's willing to put it to stop
