38 years ago my all-time favorite movie was released on this day and I just had to post about it. Forever grateful for the inspiration this film has given me and countless others.
That's all. Thank you.
Don't forget when he practically used The Force to defeat Mechagodzilla. Just your average, everyday kaiju ability.
Saw The Dark Crystal in theaters tonight for the 40th anniversary. I can easily say without a doubt in my mind that if I had been a movie-goer in the 80s when it came out I would still love it just as much as I do now.
Seeing it in theaters was just so fucking COOL! And there were a decent amount of people there as well (about twenty), which made it even better.
If you ever get a chance to see your favorite movies in a theater, do it. You will not regret it; I am legitimately the happiest I've been in a while. The amount of euphoria I felt throughout the showing is something that everybody deserves to experience.
Fair warning you WILL start catching yourself doing random toku-esque poses but it's nothing to be ashamed about
I need to watch Kamen Rider but I'm not prepared for the person I'll become. The world isn't ready.
Enjoy this crappy meme I made. I love Kira but the moment of her death is just perfectly ripe for shit like this.
Some Wizards fanart that I finally got around to coloring. It’s a weird but enjoyable movie from Ralph Bakshi with a cool premise that falls a little flat in its delivery. Nonetheless, there are some cool characters, the coolest being Necron-99 (Peace), pictured above.
Not sure if this counts but here you go
Appreciation post for the Gelflings and their reactions. Please add your own screenshots to this thread. I am so highly amused. LOOK AT THEM. I can't even.
Quick paper doodle of the movie trio. They're all very happy to be here.
Haven’t been on here in eons. My bad. Anyway here's a pic of Steve McQueen because he's a certified badass.
GO SEE GODZILLA MINUS ONE! GO SEE GODZILLA MINUS ONE! GO SEE GODZILLA MINUS ONE!
I have no idea what I'm doing. Enjoy my strangeness.
