Honestly one of the cruelest things Erik did to Charles was pause after saying Angel. You can see the anger fade immediately, he thinks for a moment that Erik is meeting him with love and gentleness. It anchors him, he stops to really look at him. Eyes to lips. For a moment he thought Erik called him Angel.

And he’s throughly confused why Erik is listing names after. I’m going to be sick.

Thinking about time travel, as one does, and more specifically, what the funniest/worst point possible it would be for ol’ mr infinte sadness to time travel from. And honestly, I think the best/worst point, in terms of ‘angst and confusion for your buck’ point, would be approximately 0.5 seconds after order 66 goes out. He’s just killed Grievous. The war isn’t over, but it’s, y’know, at a turning point! Dooku is dead! Grievous is now dead! we’re at the clean up point, a few more months of mop up, and then the republic is SAVED. And then his men fire on him, every Jedi in existence is suddenly dying, and Obi-wan has no fucking idea what just happened. Yeeting him back through time at that point? hilarious. Pure comedy.

The information he does have, at that point, is mostly either hyper specific – the war, etc – or completely fucking useless – the war, etc – given the whole time travel change the future etc trope, he is traumatized as fuck from three years of said war and also the wave of inexplicable death, and also, for some reason, all the clones tried to kill him????

many questions to ask, zero answers available, all he knows is there’s Some Number Of Sith out there in the galaxy, but crucially, he only knows where one (1) of them is at any given time, and there’s a good few decades where he doesn’t know where any of them are!!

He knows who the supreme chancellor will eventually be if palp’s is not already elected, but he does not know the dude is a Sith; he knows maul exists but unless he drops back in the, like, week that TPM happens he has no clue where maul is; and Dooku is either part of the order, or fucking about as a count, which is not actually illegal.

Kamino exists and Obi-wan knows where that is, but the clones are either Not Yet Made, or they’re, like, Babies. Babies who grow up to shoot him off a cliff for ??????????? reasons. Even Anakin! Anakin is either born, and……maybe on tatoonie, or already part of the order, but at that point, Obi-wan does not yet know that Anakin went Full Baby Murder Breakdown Stagename!! He doesn’t know about the twins! he is about as clueless as it is possible for a time traveler to be and still be a main character! anyway I just think it would be fucking hilarious for him to be shot off the cliffside on utapau, land in the council room circa TPM or even earlier, and then have to be like “terrible things are going to happen also I cannot explain literally any of the reasons, I just lived it and have no idea why anything happens, trust me anyway!”

i’m CRYING. he unintentionally kills palpatine and then mace windu is giving him a gruff but genuine jedi congratulations, and then anakin’s like he’s dead? i killed him? and mace nods, and then anakin just drops to the ground, wailing incoherently. mace windu certainly did not expect to be in a position to awkwardly pat anakin’s shoulder while anakin screams about how everything is very, very, very bad, actually, and death must be inevitable but if death is inevitable and love is inevitable then everyone should die because this suffering cannot stand, death is the only freedom there is, you can only be free in death, but also no one should ever die and he needs the power to stop death itself, but also death is the only mercy, you know, the deeply unhinged things anyone would scream after unintentionally killing their evil father figure they needed to save their secret wife and kneeling in front of his mangled corpse.

he also did not expect to be in a position where the local human bottomless desire for affection just takes matters into his own hands and yanks mace into a hug and continues to scream only the most hinged of things, this time next to mace’s ear. and then mace is like okay that’s enough of this, you’re VERY loud and have MANY problems i understand, let’s get up, you can stop panicking now, i think you technically just balanced the force so i have no idea why you’re like this - and they stand, and afterward anakin immediately crashes back on the ground essentially thrown into a coma by his sleep debt, and that’s the first time mace has ever called a med evac for a guy who a) won the duel and b) won the duel without a scratch on him.

Also, disclaimer, y'all were essentially demonized to me from the moment I was born, I never had any irl exposure to your community, all of my knowledge comes from tumblr and ao3, so, if I say something wrong, please, please be gentle?

That said, I had some questions, if any of y'all'd be ok with answering?

A) I read an article that referred to someone was both bi and lesbian, but I thought bi people were the ones who were attracted to guys and girls, and lesbians were only attracted to guys? I don't understand, you can be both?

B) I know that aro and ace are different things, but does that mean there are two entirely different fields? like you could have someone who's biromantic, but heterosexual? or vice versa?

C) How do you pronounce xe? I honestly do not know. I'd've guessed you'd pronounce it like the 'x' in Xerxes, but I know some people go by ze, so it'd make more for it to be pronounced differently, but I can't think of how?

D) I've read fics where FtM trans people broke their ribs because they wore binders too tightly/for too long. Is... is this real? Please tell me it's not real, that sounds scary dangerous, and I really don't want y'all getting hurt, please say it's an exaggeration

E) I've gotten conflicting information, if you're asexual, do you dislike sex, are you neutral about it, is it something else?

F) I've also read a thing that had an asexual character who was sexually attracted to one person they were already romantically attracted to, but isn't that demisexual?

G) For poly groups, how do break-ups work? Is there a vote? This has been keeping me up for days, I just can't think of how it'd go?

H) I think that open relationships are are supposed to be romantic for those in it, and purely sexual for the others who get involved, whereas poly relationships are both romantic and sexual, and sleeping with someone outside the group would be cheating. Could someone please confirm or correct?

I) If you are only attracted to people you have a romantic attraction towards, that means you're demi, right?

J) If every romantic relationship I take part in ends up reinforcing the fact that there is a good chance I am simply incapable of forming lasting romantic relationships, probably due to my ignorance of how to interact with people matched with my belief that it won't last anyway and the fact that there is not a single person whom I trust enough to share every side of myself, am I demi? Aro? Is it just the trust and abandonment issues mixed with unrealistic expectations? I don't think I'm asexual, but I've only ever been attracted to a couple of people I know? I still want someone and I want a relationship like ones I've seen or read about, but I'm also very much a loner? Like, I was homeschooled without extracurriculars and now I'm in college, and I don't know how to be around people? I want people, but being around them too long makes me feel like having a panic attack? Am I only getting into romantic relationships due to being starved for praise and affection? How do I know?!?!?

Yea so Ody is finally home and he’s with his wife and son. It’s all cool and fun. But hold on. Can you imagine how HORRIFYING Odysseus and his family must be to other Royals now?

And worst of all, he is crazy smart. So negotiating or trying to make deals with Odysseus must be the most horrifying thing in existence at the time. She is from Sparta and by Odysseus own words JUST AS SMART AS HIM. The main reason she didn’t go out and fight those nobles/kick them out is because of the laws of hospitality (which are enforced by Zeus). But with her god piercer husband, she doesn’t need to be so polite anymore. And she held the kingdom together for 20 years! She knows how to handle business. So yea, don’t mess with her either.

And his kid? He’s a warrior of the mind now! Who has the favor of ATHENA! WHO in a very short time learned how to fight. Going from losing a fist fight, to fighting dozens of men who only overwhelmed him because he got TIRED of kicking their asses! He has ATHENA on his side as his best friend. Dont even try

Point is The Ithaca royal family is a f***ing nightmare to deal with now.
