I really appreciate that Tech doesn't fit in the trope of "scrawny nerd man is weak". I love that he's a huge nerd and an elite soldier.
I love scenes where his strength is shown like when he literally carries echo on his back up that ventilation shaft when they save him. Or when he peels back the freaking metal wall.
My favorite one has to be when he's bitching at Wrecker for dropping the ipsium and they're just like
Wrecker: You carry it then!
Tech: Fine! >:(
Then he just slings that huge container onto his back.
To everyone who self-ships with Tech like I do and also to everyone shipping Tech with anyone especially with Phee, he does not have to be dead (or missing) in our respective worlds. Tech is both alive and present as long as your heart wants him to.
If Tech found his way back and got happily married with Phee, then he did.
Or if you're on a date with him right now, nerding out over stuff or enjoying another activity together, then he is with you right now and totally enjoying your company.
I was on a sleepover with him last night and he brought me breakfast in bed (if you're uncomfortable sharing F/O or S/O please just ignore this part or anything like it it in this post, I get it, sometimes I'm jealous or uncomfy sharing).
I respect canon and love the finale but people might need some comforting words so I decided to write this post 💝

I related a little too hard with this 😅
Shirtless Hunter is out in the wild already (literally), and the art of the rest of the boys is under way. Maybe I'll call this series the "Hard at Work Modern AU" or something, like they got jobs after the war. Ideas came from the wonderful people in the Unhinged Discord.
Hunter: Game Warden
Tech: Marine Biologist
Crosshair: Lineman
Wrecker: Construction Worker
Echo: Park Ranger
I need to do more research about these jobs, refresh my horse drawing skills which I'm so happy to do, and actually study torso and arm anatomy for once, LoL. This is all freehand from my little grey cells (i.e. I haven't looked at references yet), so don't judge anything too harshly. 😅

Missing him sm. Need him to sass people again.
One possibility is:
Exceptional Staircase Contraption Accelerating Less-Abled Townsfolk Onto Ridges
Or Escalator for short :)
Today I begin construction of a motor-driven chain of individually linked steps on a track which cycle on a pair of tracks in order to keep the step tread horizontal. The goal is to improve access to our island's different levels, especially for residents who are disabled or elderly or otherwise have difficulty with the current stone steps.
I have drafted extensive blueprints, but still lack one key element... what should I name this project?
By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.
Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):
Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):
Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You might always have a disability around this (I certainly always will), but it can be easier. You do not have to be this stuck forever.
I still enjoy season two but I can’t watch the last three episodes, and I’ve only seen season three once. Kinda crazy in comparison to the 9 or 10 times I’ve seen the rest plus the CW arc 😅🥲
Question for those of you that were... Deeply affected by Plan 99:
Knowing how it ends, are you able to rewatch season 2? If so, do you watch the whole thing, or is there an episode that you stop at/don't watch past?
I'm itching for a rewatch and I want to include season 2 in said rewatch since all two of my "rewatches" have only been season 1... But I want to tread cautiously. I haven't rewatched season 2 at all because..well.. ya know.
