This scene completely blew my mind when I first saw it. It was SO FREAKING COOL!!! Like, Marvel basically turned these Norse mythology characters into outer space Vikings who fly SPACESHIPS???
Dream Plane and I have soooooo many headcanons and plot bunnies revolving around Thor and Loki being pilots. It's such a cool concept to explore! Like, they would obviously have had flight training. How many flight hours do they have? Did they ever get into crazy scrapes during their cross-country (cross-realm?) solos? Did they have to learn stalls while flying within Asgard's atmosphere? Did they ever get to experience microgravity? How long does it take Thor (in normal circumstances) to familiarize himself with new spacecraft?? (dramatic gasp) What if Loki was a test pilot at some point??? (incoherent squeeing)

Tiny municipal airports with family-owned FBOs (Fixed Base Operators) are our favorite kind to visit. They usually have a perfect mix of small town vibes and a sense of adventure. Plus the airspace is usually a breeze to get into. You never know who you'll meet or what crazy flying stories you'll hear. If there's an airport restaurant, you can be sure that it'll be serving comfort food like burgers and cheesesteaks.

This meme is perfect because Star Wars-obsessed kid me and El Droide used to imagine that Brom looked like Obi-Wan. XD
Brom: Ah Eragon, you remind me so much of your father when he was your age.
Eragon: You know my father?
Brom internally:
I always get confused between AoA for Agent of Asgard or Age of Apocalypse. Both Marvel storylines
Oh goodness, I had forgotten about that one. You’re so right!
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:16
I believe it is Father's desire to let us know that our lives were not a mistake. In Psalm 139:15-16, it says our frame was not hidden from God in the secret place for He saw our unformed body. He cared enough for each one of us, that He took the time to write down each one of our days in His book. Your yesterday was written in God's book. Your today and tomorrow is also penned by the loving hand of your Heavenly Father. You are not just a number in His eyes, but one that is incredibly unique with a special purpose. You were not an accident, for someone is watching over you who loves you more than you could ever know.

This was my very first comic outfit recreation. It's Betty Ross' standard fit from the OG 1940s Captain America comic run. The artists were kinda inconsistent in drawing her outfit, so I decided to go with her look from the first few comics that were published in 1941 (see comic panels at the end!). Let's just say that I went overboard with collecting stuff for this moodboard. 😅
The main components of this fit (hats, shirt, blazer, skirt) are from the '40s. The compact/lipstick (Coty "Flying Colors") and watch are also WWII-era. I didn't really need to include them, but they fit the wartime mood of the comics.
Searching for a purse and shoes that matched the comics got tricky, so I resorted to choosing items that were from the mid-late 1930s. I mean, it's 1941, and everyone just got out of the Great Depression, so it makes perfect sense that Betty would hang on to her nice stuff. The little gold coin/ID purse (also '30s) was absolutely not necessary, but I thought it was so cute that I had to include it in this moodboard. My excuse is that Betty needs a designated place to keep her FBI badge and other super secret stuff.
(takes off amateur historian hat) Okay, enough of that. Here are the two panels I referred to when making this moodboard. Side note: Sergeant Duffy gives Steve Rogers a hard time, partially because Steve can be such a rascally little goof in these comics. With all the pranks he and Bucky pull on ol' Sarge, I'm surprised he wasn't kicked out of the Army!
Nothing to see here, just a pair of fanfic writers who like random stuff.
