Episode 7 here we go with wonderful (half) sibling antics between Snufkin and Little My. I wish they got into doing more together, they do great crime. Something I like seeing translated across any animated version of Snufkin is apparently the fact he crosses his legs. It’s a very minor part of his body posture but it’s fun to notice the continuity.

honestly one of my fav things that isn’t ever talked about with Kusuo is that he is honestly when you actually examine him, a pretty normal teenager. He’s insecure, he cares a lot about his mom and is scared of making her mad, he gets invested in other peoples drama, he dislikes PE, he hates being spoiled for things, he has an embarrassing crush that his friends judge him for, he has an awkward relationship with his dad and fights with his brother, he wants to be protected.

Like underneath all the unfamiliar stuff, he is honestly Just Some Guy.

I love how Oda shows that Gear 5 is getting more powerful. Not through how much destruction it causes, but that Luffy is now using other kinds of slapstick.

When fighting Kaido Luffy was using body/environment squish and strech (I have no idea what any of the terms I'm trying to use are). Growing in size, bouncing off the ground, turning Kaido into a balloon and jump rope, most of that fight had rubbery qualities to its gags, even the eye stretches can be categorized as stretching, as none truly fell out. (Ussop is able to do a similar thing with the wasabi grape, but that's a whole nother post and another reason for his godhood.)

Against the Gorosei though, he's turned them into paper (which is distinctly NOT rubber,) had all his scars blown off, and created a baseball bat and helmet with paint seeming out of nowhere!

Oda is making it so that Luffy can do anything to anyone so long as it'll get a laugh from us, and while I'm not qualified to do an analysis on that subtle 4th wall breaking. I for one can't until he does the ultimate attack and shoves Pies into all their faces!

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K but Saiki himself is just a background character. Like everything is the same except someone (who doesn’t know about psychics) is the protagonist.

But like… there’s some kid in the background with some goofy hair clips and colourful sunglasses. Sometimes you’ll see them peeking around corners. They’re in like every scene it’s weird as hell. All the other characters are obsessed with them. Who is this guy?

I reread chapter 62 of jibaku shounen hanako-kun and there are things I didn't understand. Did Hanako know Yashiro was in the elevator? How did he know someone was in the elevator in the first place? Later we see him summon it, so does that mean the elevator is his? Honestly, I'm sorry if there are a lot of questions, but I just don't understand how he knew Yashiro was there and the relationship with him in the elevator (I mean, he also had the numbers written down that makes him move)

Hanako planned everything, he knew about the severance, he was the one who did everything alone. He knew how to get out of the boundary of number six, but he stayed there on purpose, in search of his yorishiro.

Still, Hanako waited for the right moment to get out of there. He could have summoned the elevator before, yes, but he didn't. This elevator was the one that guided Nene and Akane to the boundary of number six in the first place.

This is because Hanako wanted to blackmail Akane to get a favor from him (which he didn't manage to do).

In other words, Hanako planned everything and did everything on purpose.

Yes, apparently, only Hanako has the power to use this elevator. We haven't seen any other character summoning it.
