The Ask Game

Drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁... Krueger (it was pretty obvious). He spent like a good two months pining for her. He welcomed the feeling of liking her romantically but didn't act on it. He just liked being around her, so he didn't see a reason to change his behavior for her in order to make her like him. It just came naturally.

In terms of love, Nak. She definitely fell in love with him first. Phayvanh knows she's difficult, jealous, stubborn and how her temper gets in the way of properly communicating correctly. But he's just been there despite all of that and pushes her to be better, holds her accountable. And having someone like that, their unrelenting support that she never got, of course she's going to fall in love first.

💧How well do they comfort each other when they're upset?

Krueger has an...Unconventional approach to comforting Nak. Audacity. He doesn't want to force Phayvanh to talk about her problems unless she initiates the discussion.

"Are you crying?"

Voice visibly breaking,"No."

"Ok."

"Wh.. are you not going to ask me what's wrong?"

"Not really. I didn't think through it that far."

Chuckling and sniffling,"Are..are you stupid?"

"A little bit."

"Ask me."

"Okay :)"

If she doesn't want to talk, a hug or just being near her would do. Sometimes that's all it takes.

Nak is learning to be more considerate if other people's deeper feelings. Tears, especially sad tears, make her very uncomfortable, she won't know what to do. She was ridiculously bad at comforting people. Her desperate attempts at consoling Krueger is enough to make him feel better.

So for Funsies here's a list of things Nak did/said trying to comfort Krueger (Chronological order).

- "Ew- augh, God! Why-"

-"Yikes." Then she went to lock herself in the laundry room.

-Just. Stared at him until he stopped being upset.

- Microwaved him leftovers and put on a movie

- "If it makes you feel better I don't have parents either."

-Held his hand for like two hours, they said nothing in that time

-"Do you uh.. want to sleep? I set the thermostat to 22°C so it's warm."

-"you dont have to, I already folded your laundry for you."

-Hugged him, no words exchanged

-"I don't like it when you cry. But I know you need to."

-"No it's ok, you're not bothering me."

Hey arcane fandom, I was already wary of y’all because of the way you treat some the characters but hearing someone made a serial killer au with Jayce and Viktor defiling black bodies (most being woman) and such is actually disgusting.

Im not saying everyone but just the ones I’m pointing to. It’s worst kowning it was one of my own that wrote that but it’s still weird to note some probably still read it with no issue.

Yes it was a month ago or so but it still bothered me.

I see a lot of this stuff on Tumblr here too and I want to say this

It’s the history that makes it distasteful, knowing black people have been done horrible throughout the years. Eaten, skinned to use as objects , raped , beaten , isolated, force sterilized, killed for fun mind you! And so much more.

I can’t word it how I wish but it’s just the matter of how you write that’ll cause problems. Yes I get it killers , murders , and bad guys are evil but writing it as more of a quirk than actually them being racist is insensitive.

I’m not saying to go out be like “this is Mortan gaver and hes racist that’s it’s tehe” , I mean what else can I say? It’s lazy. Racist don’t need explaining at all but leaving at that will make me question you even more if you try to explain WHY their like that.

(((Yes racism can be taught and such but I’m saying writers explaining it like it’s an excuse is the problem))

Or just a simple thought

DONT USE US AS TRAGEDIES AT ALL?? yes stuff like this happens in real life and some wish to bring awareness but ??? How you write it will be interpreted by your audience remember that.

STOP BEING PRETTY VERNON

Is AM really as like. Squishy as he looks? Because he looks very soft in that one drawing

And on that note do AM and Ver cuddle often?

I like to think he's a mixture of Firm AND soft, AM added extra skin as a cushion for the metal and wires. Vernon can definitely feel some muscle + metal/wires under the squish (Pudgy? I'm not sure what the English word is)

As for touch, I've given some background for AM's acclimation to having a body in this post for context!

Vernon and AM cuddle - AM enjoys the warmth she provides while Vernon is extremely touch starved.

While it's unsettling that AM's body is so cold, she enjoys that she's not sweating when they cuddle (+ she's a freak that thinks it's cool he's kind of like a corpse. More info here). AM likes that Vernon seeks physical contact with him and being close to him.

So everything works out!

something funny I noticed about Samis Arabic is that it is a lil...clunky?? like nothing he says is incorrect but it feels like he's translating it from English to Arabic in his head, which makes sense considering he grew up wealthy so he's probably a bit whitewashed. whereas Azur has perfect Arabic, I'd like to imagine him teasing Sami about his Arabic, its weirdly cute lol

one more question! are the cousins Muslim or just grew up with Muslim influence? also I lied its 2 questions, do/did they listen to Arabic music?

Salam, It's good to see you again! I had no idea that Sami's voicelines are like that since I only started learn Arabic a few months ago ;0; so this information is really helpful for me!! Let's get into the questions :D

Are the cousins Muslim or did they just grow up with Muslim Influence?

I think they would be both raised to be Christian (A mix of Orthodox and Catholicism) because of the general religion in Austria during the 80s and 90s (and because I can't find any statistics of Muslims in Austria during that time period + I feel I'm not confident enough in my knowledge of Islam for me to really say)

However I do think that the cousins, no matter how whitewashed they may be, definitely grew up with some Middle Eastern (not Muslim) influence even if they didn't know (In Germany/Austria "Wallah"/ "Mashallah" is used as slang amongst teens) or Their parents (Krueger's Mom, König's Dad) cooking them food from where they're from. (Idk if that makes sense ;0; please feel free to correct me!)

Did/Do the Cousins listen to Arabic Music?

They do now, just a few songs, but they didn't before, because they didn’tknow how to get access to Arabic music because when you search up "Arabic Music" on YouTube or Spotify you get like.. not really songs but more instrumentals .

I like to think Sami was the one who was like "Have you two heard of Sherine? Just listen to Sherine" And they just have her on their playlists at some point :3
