madoka loves her swagless cringefail lesbian disaster gf
Well of course they don't respect or understand the familial love they're taking away from her. No one's ever loved them that way.
Something about the way both Sasha and Marcy are constantly trying to keep Anne away from both her families... so much can be read into that... the way those two have absolutely no regard for the concept of family, the way they want to own her entirely, the way they can't seem to understand her and sympathize with what's important to her...
You wait for the art book to come out next year!
What do i do with my life now
WAIT! Did Vaggie grow her hair out in hell because there's nothing there that can cut it!?
I mean, how did she even experience that? Because theoretically she should've lived through a whole lifetime in which Madoka didn't exist and Homura never met her. Madoka didn't just alter the last month and a half, she altered ALL time. But Homura was so experienced with time travel (or so in love) that she couldn't forget. So did she just live a whole life with these memories, that she knows can't be real, of saving this girl Madoka who doesn't exist over and over again, as well as inexplicable timestop powers? Or was the Homura we all know just dropped into the new timeline with with all her memories, hopefully not erasing that timeline's Homura, but instead gaining her memories of a life without Madoka in a world without witches.
Wraith arc must've explained all of this I guess, but I've never read it.
Okay but like what do you think Homura was thinking on the day after Madoka became a concept? What did she do on the day she realized her mission was over?
Always imagined one of the girls pointing this out like "Let me be clear, this is not a fight to protect my planet from being conquered. I'm fighting to keep my city from being nuked by our own government in order to stop you. There's no winning this for you. It's just a question of whether I also lose."
Kinda extrapolating in a nitpicky way from a single line but with Andrias's 'One life for thousands' thing like. LA has a population in the millions. I think Andrias straight-up has no idea how hugelarge Earth is. Thousands seems reasonable for a large population center to him.
Listen okay bear with me LISTEN. Amphibia is canonically roughly the size of Australia. which is only about FIVE PERCENT of Earth's surface landmass. Like Team Imperialism was already COMEDICALLY underprepared to actually invade Earth let alone actually WIN but this is hysterical.
Like there'd be a lot of civilian casualties + it's not like anyone would just let them invade but also, despite the vast gulf in tech, on the whole between sheer size and SO Many other factors (I have a truly bloated draft laying around Somewhere talking about these factors. Somewhere), Earth would have chewed the invasion up and spit it out like particularly cheap gum.
And what about Darcy you ask? Easy, they were going off of ~1000 year old data which was. whew. iirc human population around 1000 AD was estimated as like. A fraction of a percent of our modern global population. Ole Darce was more interested in tech and military capabilities rather than raw numbers and other seemingly basic bitch intel that supposedly would be less of a factor in the case of Alien Technological Superiority (which lol. lmao. bro ur just as dead if they kill u with a pointy stick or with a scifi railgun)
I'd bet it was a direct order from Catra!
ok scorpia's excuse for making a mess of the files in s2e3 is that she has inconvenient limbs for handling documents, but here?! here she's just tossing them behind her on purpose!!! was respecting shadow weaver's files not covered in force captain orientation?!?!?
from an old incorrect quote. It’s great that the journal not only clarified that Sasha’s eyes are blue but that Anne and Marcy absolutely love looking at Sasha’s eyes
It pissed me off so much because it revealed that even the utilitarian moral view Kyubey espoused was bullshit. Not only was he lying when he said humanity would eventually get to take part in the galactic community that benefitted from this power extraction, or at least it didn't matter whether that was true, but it also showed that he didn't care about having a permanent solution to entropy. No matter how much energy he got, if there was a "quota" you could be satisfied with meeting even if it destroyed your means of production, then you were never concerned with a truly perpetual solution, and the only reason to even be bothered by entropy in the first place is if you want something to last for literal eternity!
That alternate timeline where Madoka becomes a witch and Kyubey goes “Looks like she’s gonna destroy the entire planet… oh well that’s not my problem” is both hilarious and chilling to me
26 year old obsessed with children's cartoons. Maybe some day I'll make comics and/or animations consistently
