Backstory:

James’s parents are out of the picture. Yes, they’re there but they aren’t there. His older brother was though. His older brother was his hero, and also a drag racer. He was a reckless driver when James wasn’t in the car though, and that’s how he lost his life. That’s when James lost everything, and gained such a controlling nature. that didn’t stop him from racing every day either, he raced as soon as he could get his hands on a car so he could try to live up to his brother.

Backstory:

Always one upped by his younger sister, Ray has never lived in a world where he’s good enough. Not for his parents, his friends, his teachers, anyone. You know how they say it’s better to be third place than second? Well, Ray is proof of that. Always runner up, never winning, someone’s always better than him at something. That’s why when he met Jimmy and he started to win, he stayed. Despite how mean Jimmy may be, Ray knows he’s a good person. Why else would he let such dead weight race with him?

I made these ocs for fun bc every good story needs antagonists amiright 😼, they probably won’t show up in the fic im writing, maybe mentioned, but they’re supposed to be rival racers who always are the ones to either beat Soda & Steve or come right behind them in the race. You can see what kinda dynamic I was going for with them.
