UM HI, very sorry to interrupt your casual scrolling, but I am in need of band pickup lines. It does not matter how bad they are, they're great
Currently on a quest to make metal band themed Valentine's Day cards because I adore how stupid they are, any band is fine
You'll be credited with the line in the info I put under my edits (on the actual text on the post, not in the tags or on the actual image)
Will tag you in the replies of the post if you're interested in seeing how it came out :)
Note from the future: This is always open, I'll be happy to make more cards, lol. I know you're hesitating, person who's reading it. Do it. I promise, it's okay, you're not bothering anyone. It's a good thing. Do it.
Mick: If Ozzy thinks he's radical by biting the heads off of doves, I'm going to chainsaw the head off a pig!

(Hopefully) Obscure Band Facts
The Diamond Head song "Am I Evil?" was referenced in Lords of Chaos, a film about the black metal band Mayhem, in a scene where two of the band's members, Euronymous and Varg Vikernes, were burning down a church. In the scene, Euronymous asked, "Am I evil?", which was followed by the two shouting "Yes I am!" in chorus.

Interviewer: Who could eat the most pancakes? You or Glenn Danzig?
Jerry: Uhhh, well, definitely me, I think.

You seem to be a very interesting person are you the friendly type
Guys, I'm pretty sure this bot just detected Kirk as a woman, that's kind of funny, hdjsjs
Few likes, sent the same ask to multiple people, all the people they followed appear to be women, no one else they followed looks like they do band fandom stuff, they have way more people they followed than anything else
I just wanted to know what music they liked, I'm disappointed </3
Interviewer: Do you have any plans at all for the future?
Jello: Um...I'll probably go to sleep tonight.

Psst psst, this is just a thought right now, but. Metallica fanzine?
Note for people who may not know, just realized that's possible: a fanzine is just a fanmade magazine
It sounds kind of fun to make one, especially with 72 Seasons coming soon as a deadline, and I think it could be interesting to have a focus on small contributions of whatever from whoever: comments, art/doodles, favorite lyrics, fun stories, etc, literally anything. Just a general concept of being inclusive to anyone's contributions no matter what they are
Though, of course, this does require for there to be an anyone—so psst, that is you if you have any interest whatsoever!! If there's enough people interested to make it work, stuff will happen over on @metallica-zine; if not, I'll just delete the sideblog and no harm will be done except to my poor lonely heart
Don't usually ask, but reblogs are very much appreciated!
EDIT: Yes, it is happening!
Hi :D The blog I use as a main blog is @sobbingdistantnoises, send non band related asks there? <3-This blog is (mostly) purely for metal+punk bands I like and (mostly) purely for stuff I cut from a larger source myself: correct quotes, gifs, edits, clips, obsureish facts, the occasional other thing. I do my best to always include sources :) -I do not post here as much anymore, but I do still listen to almost exclusively metal+punk, so maybe eventually I shall make my proper return -<3
