(Hopefully) Obscure Band Facts
Whenever Lars Ulrich visits Copenhagen, Denmark, he rents a bike and bikes around in the nearby deer park with it. He recommends it if you ever visit the area.

pls recommend me a song (or some) with lyrics that you like
OOO, this is a fun question, thank you :D
Madman - Pentagram. (Before I start, there's a mention of a character in the song committing suicide) I love the story this song tells with the serial killer and their lover, especially just the sheer tragedy of how the killer decided to tell their lover that they've killed people but it wasn't taken very well by the lover so the killer killed both their lover and themselves. It's just so heartbreaking in the best way.
Soldierhead - Newsted. "A lie has no feet, cannot stand alone" is currently my favorite lyric from any song right now just because of how you need both parts of the phrase to really understand it and you still need to do some thinking to realize what the lyric means at first. And honestly, what it says is genuinely really true: you need enablers, at least at first, to have a lie stand as the truth.
Atlas, Rise! - Metallica. For a start, I love the clear mythological inspiration for this song, and I feel like the knowledge behind who Atlas is in Greek myths really adds meaning to them. The song really treats him as a victim, but at the same time, the speaker sounds as if they're also half mocking half but also trying to get him to fight back against the punishment. I haven't totally figured out who Atlas is to the speaker in it yet, and I totally don't keep relating it to a certain scene in Percy Jackson, nope , not at all, but I love imagining different gods/titans saying each line depending on what their part was in Atlas' punishment. (Zeus as "curses rest on thee", the "right on me" part being thought by Atlas in a defeated tone when he first started carrying the heavens, stuff like that.)
There are definitely other songs I love the lyrics of but didn't mention, but those were the first I thought of from the top of my head
Rob: Stop on the red, cross on the green, never take a ride in a stranger's machine.

Hi :D The blog I use as a main blog is @sobbingdistantnoises, send non band related asks there? <3-This blog is (mostly) purely for metal+punk bands I like and (mostly) purely for stuff I cut from a larger source myself: correct quotes, gifs, edits, clips, obsureish facts, the occasional other thing. I do my best to always include sources :) -I do not post here as much anymore, but I do still listen to almost exclusively metal+punk, so maybe eventually I shall make my proper return -<3
