Kinktober day 3: hate sex WARNING: no prep used
Sorry it’s very late, I’m working on it >:( For now, enjoy!
He doesn’t know how long they’ve been like this, nor does he care. He’s so fucking over it.
Dew and Swiss had been at each others throats for a week now, and no one knows why. The only thing that everyone knows is that they keep dragging Mountain into it, and he’s sick of it. He was happy to help in the beginning, thinking that it would settle their feud, but he soon found out how wrong he was.
If Mountain were to choose one’s side, the other would throw a fit. It only added the tension between the two, making them impossibly worse.
The sharp sound of glass shattering pulled him from his afternoon nap. He groaned, dragging himself to find where the sound came from. When he walked into the kitchen, he immediately spotted Dew and Swiss on opposite sides of the island. Swiss had Aurora and Phantom at his sides, and Dew had Rain and Cirrus at his own. “What the fuck happened.”
They all turned around, eyes wide and jaws hung open. Dew managed to slip out of the two ghoul’s hands and ran over to the earth ghoul. “Mount, Swiss was being mean..” He looked up at Mountain with watery eyes, his bottom lip jutting out slightly. “Don’t let him butter you up! The fucker threw a plate at me!” Dew growled in the multi’s direction.
“Enough. I’ve had enough of you two and your bullshit.” He spoke firmly, picking Dew up and throwing him over his shoulder. “The fuck do you think you’re doin?!” Mountain ignored the fire ghoul, making his way in long strides over to Swiss. “I’ve tried to help, but it seems like neither of you want to listen.” He wrapped an arm around Swiss’ waist, hauling him underneath his arm.
“Mount, what are you doing?!” He growled down at Swiss, and he went silent. He grumbled all the way back to the hall about how tired he was and how they woke him up from his nap, but the two couldn’t focus on a word he was saying. They knew they were fucked, Mountain was pissed.
Kicking open the door and dropping the two gentle onto the floor, he crossed his arms and stared at the two. “You two are going to stay in here until you settle whatever issue you’ve got going on. I don’t care if you talk it out or fuck it out, just do whatever you need to do to fix it.” And with that he slammed the door shut, locking it from the outside.
Swiss winced as he stood, holding onto his side. “He didn’t have to be so- shit- fucking rough.” Dew rolled his eyes and stood as well, crossing his arms. “Can handle getting roughed up? Pathetic.” Dew scoffed, rolling his eyes. Within a second, he went from standing to being pinned down onto the bed. “Swiss- get the fuck off me!” He hissed and scratched, but failed, going limp under the multi.
“The only reason we’re like this right now is because you can’t take a fucking joke.” Dew laughed, turning his head. “You call that a joke? You insulted my appearance.” Swiss looks down at him with disbelief. “Yes! It was a fucking joke, Dew! I said you looked like death, I was just trying to lighten the mood.” The fire ghoul rolled his eyes, mocking Swiss. “Yeah right.”
Swiss flipped him over in one swift movement, dragging his hips up. “You always have such a nasty attitude about everything just to get attention. You want attention so bad? I’ll give it to you.” With that, he tore Dew’s sweatpants off and threw them to the side. “Wait, wait, wait- Swiss,“ He growled and Dew shut his mouth as fast as he’d opened it.
Swiss undid his jeans, kicking them off with his boxers and giving himself a few strokes. He positioned himself behind the ghoul, roughly grappling his hips. “Prep- Swiss, prep-“ Swiss laughed, thick and laced with venom. “You don’t need prep, you’ve had Mountain wrapped around your finger.” He leaned down, right next to Dew’s ear, whispering innocently into his ear-
“These walls are thin, Dew.”
He pushed into Dew, bottoming out in one fluid thrust. A scream attempted to escape from his throat, but all that came out was choked breath. Swiss set a brutal pace, not giving him the chance to catch his breath. “You talk all that shit just to end up like this, crying beneath me. So pathetic.” He mocked, already breathless. Dew knew the multi was close, but if he could say different about himself he would.
He was so embarrassingly close from Swiss ramming directly into that one spot that made him see stars. He moaned, high-pitched and feminine. His vision went white as he came hard, entire body spasming and giving out. The feeling of Dew tightening around him sent him flying over the edge, doubling over Dew’s sweaty back.
He pulled out, bringing Dew to his chest. “Shit- Was I too rough, maybe I should’ve prepped you- Fuck, I’m sorry.” Dew came to, looking up at Swiss before pushing him back and smothering him with a kiss. “No, I’m sorry. You’re right, I need to learn how to take a joke and stop being so aggressive. Can we just go back to the way it was, please?” He flopped down onto Swiss’ chest, visibly deflating.
“I’ve missed this..” Swiss chuckled, nodding and pulling the blanket up and onto them. “Anything for you, spitfire.”
Notes: You’d do anything for him, even if it meant leaving your whole life behind just to be with him. (3270 wc)
Warnings: Mentions of death, some vague gore if you could call it that?, blood mentions, nothing too saucy :)

The ministry was always a nice place to be in. Yeah, it was sometimes chaotic with all the ghouls running around, but it had its peaceful places. Like the library, your favorite place. It smelled of old books and pinewood, so comforting to your constantly racing mind. You’d grown up there, being a son of sin, but not just any son of sin. You were the priest's oldest son, meaning you had the most responsibility out of all. You were put in charge of almost everything -scheduling tours, guiding new siblings of sin, and shit ton of paperwork- your father pushing you as far as he could to make sure you’d be a good fit for the next priest. If you were being honest, you didn’t want the role at all.
You found the job to be extremely boring. You despised the thought of sitting around in a cold office, doing nothing all day. You admired the ghoul’s lifestyle, you wished you could do what they did. They were free and got to have fun, while you were stuck in your boring and stressful lifestyle. The ghouls made sure you felt appreciated through it all though, you being the main reason they got to do what they did best. Sneaking you out of your room at night, being extremely careful not to be caught. They’d drag you to the ghouls wing, sitting you down on one of the many couches in the common room. They’d do whatever you wanted to. Want to watch a movie and relax? They’d have a list of movies and plenty of blankets ready. They adored you, but one particular ghoul always stuck out to you.
Mountain. He’d sneak into the library, going to your normal spot to check in on you. He knew that you were constantly stressed out, so he’d always find a way to make you feel better. Offering to help with the workload everyone dropped onto you, or to get you something to snack on while you worked. He took care of you. If you denied everything he offered, he’d sit with you until you were done. It didn’t matter if it was in the middle of the night, he would be right by your side. If he sensed you getting worked up or frustrated, he’d reassure you while rubbing your shoulders. Whispering sweet nothings into your ear, voice like honey soothing you almost instantly.
You found yourself with a crush on the towering ghoul, getting goosebumps from everything he did. His low silvery voice bounced around in your head like a record on repeat. The gentle touch of his calloused palms sending shivers down your spine. The way he slowly blinked while watching you work, putting you in a trance. His beautiful long brown hair, loosely pulled into a knot made you stare. The ghoul had you wrapped around his finger without even trying, and he loved it. He loved the way you’d react when he lightly teased you. He found humans very interesting, and you were his test subject.
“You’re still working, Love?” The sudden voice pulled you out of the book you had your nose stuck in. You looked up, spotting Mountain holding what you assumed to be a cup of tea. You nodded, rubbing your tired eyes. “I have to finish this stupid book before sunrise. My father is supposed to be testing me on it tomorrow and I can’t fail.” He hummed, making his way to sit in the chair beside you. “Why do you put up with all of this,” he spoke, a hand gesturing to the open book in front of you. You scoffed and leaned back into your chair. “It’s the only way I stay sheltered. If my father gets mad.. Well you know what’ll happen.” He gave a quiet “yep” before bringing his mug up to his lips.
“Did you need anything? I mean it’s like, three in the morning Mount.” His lips curled up into a small smile. “I came to check on you, and hopefully spend some time with you. You’ve been cooped up in here for a week now, we haven’t been able to get to you at all.” The small smile he wore slowly turned into a frown. You sighed, closing the book and pushing it aside. “I know, I’m sorry. I’ve been so caught up with everything for you guy’s next tour, it’s just taken up the little free time I've had.” He placed a hand on the side of your face, making you look at him. “There’s no need to apologize, we know you’re busy. We just wish we could help you out..”
You nodded, somewhat understanding what he said. “As soon as I’m done with this, I’ll find a way to spend time with you all..” You trailed off, a wave of exhaustion flooding over you resulting in a yawn. “How long has it been since the last time you slept, Love?” His voice was coated with worry. You thought to yourself for a moment. “I’ve been here since nine, but I woke up around five yesterday.” His eyes widened. “This won’t do, you need to sleep.” You shook your head, worried thoughts flooding your mind. “No, no. I need to finish this. I have a few pages left of this book and then I have to find the booth for the upcoming tour- I can’t Mountain.” He frowned, sitting down his tea. “Well then, I’ll help you. I can find the booth while you finish your book.”
He pulled away, taking out his phone. “Mountain- no- I won’t let you do my work. It’s not your job. I can’t, you can’t.” He shushed you. “And why not? You deserve to rest. Just tell me what to do.” You groaned, unable to deny his convincing tone. “Fine. You know the website, just tell me if you find a nice one in the price range.” You picked up your book as he flashed a fang filled smile in your direction.
A few minutes passed and you finally finished, closing the book and putting it aside. You looked over to the ghoul beside you, his eyes fixated on his phone screen. You smiled slightly and leaned into his side. “Any luck so far?” He looked down at you and nodded. “Yeah! I found a really nice booth that would be perfect. I’m talking to the owner right now to see if it's open.” He tucked his phone away into his pocket, wrapping an arm around you. “You’ve done a lot for us, and we're so lucky to have you, but if you don’t get enough sleep we won’t have an amazing manager anymore.” Your face flushed from the sudden praise. You quickly pushed that aside and sighed. “You’re right. I guess I could rest while we’re waiting for an answer..”
You stood, grabbing the book to put it away. You felt a hand around your wrist, almost making you fall backwards. You regained your ground and turned to Mountain who was now standing. “If you thought you were gonna sleep by yourself, you’re sadly mistaken.” You tilted your head in confusion. Before you could speak, he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder. “W-Wait, Mountain!” You tried to intervene, but he wasn’t having any of it. He ignored your pleads and quickly made his way out of the library.
When he opened the door, you realized where he was taking you. “Mount, I’m not allowed in here!” He continued walking without saying a word. When you reached the ghouls wing common room, you spotted a familiar fire ghoul. “Mountain? What are you doing?” Dew’s voice came from one of the couches. “Bed time.” Was the only thing he said, not stopping his long strides down the hall. Before you knew it, you were already in his room. He gently sat you down on his bed before crawling in to lay next to you. His arms wrapped around you, pulling you closer to him. He pulled up the thick blanket that sat on his bed, making sure the two of you were covered. You felt his tail slither around your ankle, securing you in his tight hold.
You relaxed in his arms, realizing you weren’t getting out of the situation no matter what. He nuzzled his nose into your hair, deeply inhaling your scent. You sighed in relief, your mind finally clear after hours of constant worries. That's when you heard it. Those three little words that made you weak slipped out from between his lips. You sat up, looking him in the eyes. “What did you say?” He smiled and placed his hands on the sides of your face, cupping your cheeks gently. “I love you.” Your breath hitched, becoming shaky. “Don’t joke around, Mountain.” His eyes softened. “I’m not joking. I would never joke about something like that, Love.” You shook your head, pulling away.
“You can’t, we can’t. It’s strictly forbidden.” He pulled you back towards him, his hands firm on your waist. “We can figure it out, my love. I’ll figure it out, you don’t need to worry about anything. For now, you just need to sleep.” He pulled you back down, your head resting on his chest. A soft purr rose from his chest, luring you into a deep sleep.
The feeling of fingers threading through your hair woke you from your sleep. You slowly opened your eyes to see Mountain looking at his phone, a smile etched onto his lips. He looked down at you, eyes lighting up. “Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well?” You nodded sitting up, rubbing your eyes. “The booth owner replied-” He was cut off by a gasp escaping your lips. “Shit- I still have to get the fee’s together and call the buses-” He shushed you, shaking his head. “Relax, I took care of it. I submitted the total fees and called the tour buses. The date is set a week from now.”
You just stared at him in disbelief. He laughed, putting his phone aside. Your face flushed a deep red as he opened up his arms. You accepted his embrace, wrapping your arms around his torso. “I wish I could come with you guys, but with the rules of the ministry it’s impossible.” He nodded, placing his hand on your head. “I know, but you’re the next priest. They need you here.” You scoffed, arms tightening around him. “The only thing they need me for is to do their work. Hell, I don’t even want to be a priest. I’ve always wanted to be in a band, kind’ve like you guys.”
“I wish you could join us as well, I wish there was a way around this.” An idea popped into your head, not a good one, but it could work. “I have an idea that you, or really anyone, won’t like.” His head tilted to the side, obviously curious. “The only way I could escape the grip of the ministry, and my father, would be to die and be summoned back as a ghoul. It’s horrible, I know, but it would work. Just think about it.” His eyes widened in shock. “My love, dying and becoming a ghoul is a very painful process. Trust me, it's something you don’t want to ever experience.”
He stopped, taking in a deep breath. “If you went through with this, you’d be giving up everything you know as a human. Everything will be different. The way you see and feel the world will change. Are you sure this is something you’d leave everything behind for?” You nodded, looking him in the eyes. “There’s nothing left for me as a human except stress and work. As a ghoul, I’d have everything. Freedom, the band, and you. I’d have you, Mountain. I’d die for you.” His face flushed as he nodded, giving you a small smile. “If that is what you wish, then I will help you as much as I possibly can.”
He leaned back into the pillows on his bed, gently stroking your head. “So how are you planning on doing this, dear?” You gave him a not so innocent smile. “I have to talk to Papa before anything is set in place. If he agrees, then we’ll be set. You’ll have to do some pretty convincing acting though.” He hummed, fully interested now. “Just know, I should be gone the night before you guys return from tour so that gives me about two weeks to do it. The clergy will send a message about what happened to me, but for now I’m going to keep that to myself. I don’t need you worrying about me while you’re on tour.” You reached a hand up to cup his cheek. He leaned into your touch, closing his eyes.
“I’m always worried about you. There’s never a second when I’m not, love.” Blood rushed to your face, your cheeks turning bright red. You removed your hand from his face and covered your own. He opened his eyes and noticed this. He ran a teasing hand up your back, making you shiver. “I’ve got to say, you’re very easy to fluster. It’s quite cute.” You dug your head into his side, hiding the embarrassing look plastered across your face. He laughed and pulled you closer, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. “You need to get going, don’t you have a test?” You quickly sat up, nodding. He escorted you out of the ghouls wing, stopping at the door.
“I’ll meet you in the library later, until then love.” He leaned down, placing a kiss on your cheek. He gave you a small smile before shutting the door. When he turned around he found all of the ghouls staring at him. “When were you gonna tell us the two of you were dating?” He shook his head, dismissing the multi ghouls' words. “Swiss- were not dating.. Yet.” A collection of laughs rose from a few ghouls, making Mountain's cheeks flush a bit. “Come on, tell us everything.” Cirrus invited him over, which he gladly accepted.
Over the next week the two of you met in the library, discussing the plan further every day. A day before they left for the week-long tour, you discussed everything with Copia. He was very against it at first, but after hearing the full plan he eventually agreed. He always knew about your dreams and was happy to help. It was the fifth day of their tour, the day you’d see your demise. You sent one final text as a human to Mountain, a simple “I love you.” You put your valuable belongings in his dresser drawer, ready for when you returned. You smiled to yourself as you walked to your fathers office, prepared on what you were about to do.
You knocked twice, hearing a stern and toneless voice inviting you in. You smiled, seeing your father staring daggers into you from his desk. “What do you need, child.” You were grinning from ear to ear. “I’m not a child. Dear Lucifer, I bet you don't even know my age.” His brows snapped together. “What did you just say to me?” You took a few steps forward, now standing in front of his desk. “You heard me.” He stood up, his chair flying backwards. He swiftly made his way in front of you, towering over you. “How dare you come in here and disrespect me, your father and priest.” You laughed in his face, pissing him off more.
“You're not my father, far from it actually. You’re just a filthy old man who knows nothing about me.” You stepped forward. “I bet you didn’t know that I wanted to be in a band. I bet you don’t know that I can play guitar perfectly. I bet you didn’t know that I don’t want to be a fucking priest like you.” He slammed a fist down onto his desk. “You’ve been around those nasty ghouls! No wonder you’ve been slacking! They’re making you filthy. You stay away from those dirty little-” Before he could say another word, your body moved on its own. A red hand mark formed on his face from the harsh slap you planted on it.
He grabbed the dagger he kept on his desk, and in one quick movement you’d done it. It pierced straight through your heart, making you fall to the ground. You sharply inhaled, the pain was overwhelming your senses. You looked up at him, a smile still on your face. The doors of the office swung open, two siblings of sin barging in. They gasped at the sight before them. Your father towering over your limp body, blood spilling across the floor. You looked at the ground, saying your final words. “See you in hell, father.” You took one last breath, death washing over you.
Mountain looked back at Copia, unsure. “I know you’re scared to see it, but we have to do this to make it look real.” He nodded, bracing himself. He swung open the doors to the office and saw two siblings of sin leaned over your lifeless body. He ran up to you, falling to his knees. His stomach dropped seeing the blood that was spilled everywhere. Tears formed in his eyes as he placed a hand over your cold face. “Dear Satanas..” He looked up the sister of sin who stood in front of him. “Who did this?” Anger and grief flowed through his breaking voice. The Sister backed away, scared. Copia rushed in, grabbing onto the ghouls arms.
“I apologize dear sister for my ghouls behavior, I will be taking him back to the ghouls wing.” She nodded, shooing him away. Copia dragged the ghoul out of the room, closing the door behind them. He released Mountain, huffing. “That was a good performance, now we need to-” He turned back to see the ghoul wiping his eyes. “Oh dear.. Mountain, you must remember this. We’re bringing him back, you’re going to see him very soon.” The tall ghoul nodded, standing up. “We must go now, your ghoul is waiting for us.” Copia gave him a reassuring pat on the back and led him down to the summoning chamber.
The pentacle was already drawn on the cold ground of the chamber with candles surrounding it. Copia quickly lit the candles and started the ritual. Mountain anxiously waited, watching the ground as if his life depended on it. The pentacle lit up, fire shooting up from the circle. A hole opened up from the ground, a hand reaching out grabbing the edge. Mountain sped to the opening and locked onto the hand. He pulled the ghoul up and out of the portal. “Papa! He’s out!” He stopped chanting, the portal quickly closing. The fire from the ghouls' bubbling skin burned him, but he didn’t care. He held the trembling ghoul in his arms, running his hand gently through his hair. “You’re home, my love.”
You opened your eyes, gasping. Your whole body felt as though it was on fire, and it was. The feeling of familiar arms around you and that soothing honey like voice brought you back fully. “Mountain?..” You looked up to see him with glossy eyes. “You’re back, you’re safe.” You quickly wrapped your arms around him, smiling weakly into his shoulder. “I told you I’d die for you, didn’t I?”
This took a while but here's part 2 of my ghoul designs, this time with Phantom and Aether
Part 1 can be found here
Headcanons under the cut:
Quintessence ghouls:
They often have two-toned hair and can be different shades of blue, violet, and gray
There is a slight glow that can be seen from their eyes and mouth, their eye color is the same as their tongue color
They can easily blend in around gargoyle statues as some of the statues in the ministry are inspired/modeled after previously summoned quintessence ghouls
The most "human-passing" among the other ghouls
Phantom:
There was an accident during his and Aurora's summoning ritual due to a build-up of quintessence magic, this caused the right side of his face to become deformed
Because of this, his face is partially frozen so he exaggerates his facial expressions to show his emotions
He makes use of quintessence magic to sense things on his blind side meaning he will know if someone sneaks up on him but lets them surprise him anyway to play along
Aether:
He's not the tallest in the pack but the buffest, he often has tasks in moving equipment and other things
He flicks his ears unconsciously when he's annoyed though it does help him hear things better
At one point, he was very self-conscious about his tooth gap but the others reassured him that he looked fine (Don't ask Dewdrop if he thinks Aether's smile is cute, he is in denial)
UUGHRJFJ IM SO NORMAL I SWEAR-
(any position.)
Swiss is literally huge omg I promise I’m normal about him
I keep forgetting how much of a fucking UNIT Swiss is. I’m only like 2 inches taller than Aurora so I’m perfect tit height I’d be fucked :D (I would not mind)
i just think that-
do you wanna know how I'm doing with the knowledge I'm dews size...? NOT FUCKING OKAY
THIS^^
My favorite things about the ghouls in fanfics:
- different personal shaped horns
- split tongues
-blushing in their signature colour/ skin/ eye colour in their s.c.
- sleeping in cuddle piles
- detailed description of scents
-said it once I’ll say it again. tails (also neat if they are personalised Like c‘mon)
- the way rain is written in a different way in basically every fanfic
-the ghoulettes. No matter what they do, just gotta love em
-the way theyre smoking pot in so many fics (bonus points if mountain grew it in his garden)
- purring/ growling
Edit:
-water ghouls having gills ofc ofc
-top surgery scars
-Sodo having small water characteristics left from before the transformation
Feel free to add on
FUCK. HYPNONE I LOVE YOU.
Why Have You Waited So Long? - You have come far, chapter 2

Summary: He wasn’t an attention whore, he really wasn’t, he was just- he was just so broken. It hurt so much. “It’ll get better, after the tour,” Phantom was telling himself, “they’ll warm up to me, it’ll get better. They’ll notice.”
Notes: due to a popular demand I present part two including some comfort. just a bit though because I do love angst, OKAY???
Read chapter 2 under the cut or on AO3.
Phantom was getting worse.
The solitude had made him sick, he knew it would happen. It wasn’t in ghoul’s nature to be alone, his system was protesting, begging Phantom to get help.
It wasn’t only his quintessence sounding alarms, trying to hold his small body from breaking with all its might. He saw himself rotting, he was getting paler and paler every day, skinnier too, his eyes were dull, barely any colour left in them, the tips of his horns were cracking and breaking off, crumbling into dust. Every day he woke up with more of it on his pillows.
He couldn’t look at himself in the mirror, so he broke it, pieces of shattering glass assaulting his fist only adding to the sick satisfaction.
He had been barely leaving his room the whole break between European and American tours, only when absolutely needed. To get some food, once every two weeks or so. To sulk through additional rehearsals, pretending he was alive and well.
He wasn’t neither alive nor well.
Phantom felt bad about getting sick, at the beginning, thinking about how his sickness could ruin the rest of the tour. But then he thought Aether could get back, it would be an emergency. Did any of the people that would be met with problems after Phantom’s death deserve him feeling bad about it?
He wanted to say no, but he could never really hate anyone, so he told himself yes. Yes, he was awful for getting sick and yes, he’d be awful for dying, only causing problems.
But Phantom did survive the break. Somehow.
That was even worse than if he wouldn't, now he had to go and act like he was fine not only in front of himself or a few ghouls and Papa, no, now he had to fool thousands.
He didn’t think he’d manage.
He‘d been quiet during their journey, on the bus, in the hotel. He was too tired to speak and no one would listen to him anyway.
The day before the first show Phantom slept as much as possible, forcing his own quintessence to all but knock himself unconscious. He stumbled through preparations for the Ritual, through the soundcheck.
He squeezed out some quintessence that was not concentrated on keeping him alive to give himself somewhat of an energy boost, just before they stepped on stage. He never had any issues with handling the Fantomen, but that night it weighed him down impossibly more.
He just needed to get through the show, he could do that. He’d certainly try.
The lights were so bright. Too bright, even with the darkened lenses of their helmets.
It was too loud, the crowd, the music.
Phantom’s clothes, even being looser than originally because of how much weight he had lost, were somehow too tight, too constricting.
He couldn’t breathe, he felt impossible weight crushing his chest.
It hurt so much.
His head was pounding, vision blurry, the sound of blood pumping in his ears nauseating.
Phantom was sure that was it.
He felt awful for it. He couldn’t possibly be such an attention whore to drop dead in the middle of a performance, could he? He had to hold on, he didn’t want to ruin anyone’s night.
The show seemed to last forever, he thought it’d never end. That it’d be his punishment for being such a failure - being stuck in an endless loop of misery and agonising pain.
But it did end, finally.
Phantom doesn’t really remember chucking a bunch of picks at the audience, getting gifts from the fans, the bows. It was easier to zone out, not remember.
Because he’d have to remember the burning of a hand gripping his own, too.
He remembers getting off stage, tumbling down a few small steps and the thud his helmet made as it collided with the floor.
He made it through that one show… but no more.
***
“Lus, I- I can’t b- believe, how did we-” Phantom heard someone sobbing. Aurora, he thought, but he couldn’t make a sense out of her choked out words.
Wait.
Where was he?
“I know, sweetheart,” it had to be Cumulus now. Her voice also sounded… wet. “We failed, all of us, but don’t take it out on yourself.”
Phantom was… he was warm? Why was he warm, it was always so cold, what-
“Shhh, don’t freak out,” someone whispered, right into his ear. He panicked, suddenly too warm, too hot, melting. His only instinct was to run away, clawing at what tried to hold him in place. Or who.
Phantom scrambled away and bumped into something that was probably a corner of... wherever he was. He curled into a tight ball, tail wrapped around his body protectively and hissed. He didn’t want to look up, look around. He didn’t want to know where he was, who he was with.
He just wanted to be gone. He didn’t want to hurt anymore.
“Phantom, hey, hey. It’s okay, you’re safe,” was it Swiss? It sounded like Swiss.
Why was saying that, why was he lying?
Phantom lifted his head, just a bit, just enough to peek from behind his arms. It was Swiss.
“Do you want me to get someone else? One of the girls? Rain?” he felt himself shaking his head. It looked like they were in the back lounge of their tour bus, it was turned into a big nest. The multi ghoul was crouching by one end of it, Phantom curled in the corner furthest away from him.
That warmth… was he- was Swiss touching him?
“Breathe, bug, deep breaths,” he said and Phantom was so tired, so weak, he couldn’t not obey. He tried to breathe, sharp inhales followed by shaky exhales, over and over again.
Swiss was watching him like a hawk, barely even blinking. Phantom tried to curl into himself more, to hide from that intense stare, the attention he was not used to.
It seemed like ages had passed before the quintessence ghoul could be considered even relatively calm. Swiss didn’t move, only offered soothing words from time to time.
Phantom wanted to hate him, hate them all, but he was so exhausted and so lonely, he clinged to every single sound that escaped Swiss’ mouth like a lifeline. He was finally getting something, he finally got noticed. He had to treasure what he was getting now, it’d be over too quickly.
“There you go,” Swiss sighed, all sad. Why was he so sad? Did Phantom ruin the show after all? “Are you back with me?”
Phantom nodded. Was he, really?
“Okay, good. Can I come closer?” He thought about it for a moment? Did he want Swiss to get closer? To touch him? He thought he wanted nothing more in the world but what if it… what if it hurt? “I’ll be gentle, I promise, bug. I need you to trust me.”
Phantom nodded.
Swiss smiled softly, even though his eyes were betraying his sadness. He slowly crawled over to the quintessence ghoul, one hand carefully reaching out. It hovered over Phantom’s knee, Swiss searching for any signs of hesitation on the other’s side. He let it gently fall when he found none.
Phantom flinched, there was no way to prevent that, but soon sobbed in something like… relief.
“Good?” Swiss asked and received a nod in return. “More? Would you like a hug?”
“P- please,” he choked out, his throat tight, eyes burning with tears.
The multi ghoul slowly but surely wrapped his strong arms around Phantom’s shaking form, covering him whole with his body. He immediately went limp, wails tearing out of his throat as Swiss held him. “That’s it, let it out. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, bug. I’ve got you now, I won’t leave.”
Phantom could barely breathe, he was choking on tears, body convulsing in Swiss’ grip as he clinged to the multi ghoul like he’d turn to dust and disappear and Phantom would never be held again.
“Everything will be okay, I won’t leave you. I won’t let it get bad again, I’ve got you,” Swiss whispered, rocking them back and forth, doing his best to release some of his own quintessence into the room, even if now crying himself.
How could he, all of them, be so blind, ignorant, awful? How did they miss all the signs, how did they let it get so bad? Why didn’t they take care of him from the beginning? What the fuck was wrong with them?
“N- no, you- you can’t give me h- hope, I can’t hope anymore,” Phantom cried and despite his words clutched Swiss tighter.
“I’m so sorry, I’m so fucking sorry, I-” Swiss sniffled, “there’s nothing I can do to fix it but-”
“Y- you can’t just- just decide to fix it n- now," the quintessence ghoul’s wails only increased in volume. How did they miss how broken he was? “It doesn’t work like that.”
“I know, fuck, I’m so sorry, lemme- please let me try to make it up to you, let me try to make it better, please, Phantom, I’m begging you, let me try.”
“You j- just feel bad I nearly flipped, it- it’s not real,” his words felt like a punch in the guts but Swiss knew how justified it was. He failed so fucking bad.
“No, it’s not- I mean, of course I feel fucking bad, you have no idea how bad. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want you to feel loved, it’s not- fuck, I don’t know what to say,” Swiss’ voice cracked. He thought that if Phantom really did die, he’d go right after him. How did they fail so badly?
“Just… just try, but I-” Phantom was hyperventilating, there was no breath left in his lungs. He hoped it wouldn’t get wasted by the things he wanted to say. “‘M not gonna survive another one, I’m fuckin’ stupid but I- it needs to be real, Swiss. I can’t take any more.”
“Baby… oh, sweetheart,” the multi ghoul sobbed, “I promise you, I’ve got you, ‘m not gonna let anything happen to you, you won’t be alone ever again, fuck, I’m so, so, sorry.”
Phantom didn’t have any more words, neither did Swiss. He could apologise over and over again but it made no sense. He cradled the quintessence ghoul in his arms, tears and snot soaking into each other’s clothes, held him for what seemed like hours. It probably was.
Swiss didn’t know when Phantom blacked out, he thought he did too. He remembers Rain staring down at them from the bus’ corridor with tears flowing down his own cheeks. The multi ghoul nodded at them with a pleading look, silently asking him to join.
Rain got down on his knees and crawled over to Phantom and Swiss, helping the latter to rearrange them to somewhat of a more comfortable position. They then glued themself to Phantom’s back, squeezing the ghoul between him and Swiss.
Some time later they heard socked feet shuffling in their direction. Dewdrop.
Even before he fully laid down behind Rain, Mountain appeared in the doorway, and it didn’t take much for the three ghoulettes to make their way over to the nest too.
They should all fall onto their knees before Phantom and beg him for forgiveness, but he didn’t want that. He may be stupid for still allowing himself that tiny droplet of hope but all he wanted now was love. He wanted, needed, to be loved.
He truly wouldn’t survive more heartbreak.
***
Fans seemed to enjoy Phantom getting more lively, more confident on stage, finally allowing himself some more… intimate interactions with his bandmates. Finally being allowed touch.
But he couldn’t not feel like all the attention he was now getting was just a way for the ghouls to not feel bad about nearly letting him die. He was fine if he didn’t think about it, but at the end of the day he was just a stray animal that had stumbled into their home and they took him in out of pity, to not feel like they were awful people, to not feel guilty.
It would surely end when they got back to the Abbey, he had to soak all the comfort on the road if he wanted to have any chances at living on.
Phantom couldn’t believe it was real when they did return and he was still being seen. He was being invited for cuddles, for movie nights, game nights.
Never left behind, anymore. Never being forgotten.
Touch didn’t burn anymore, it warmed him both outside and inside in the best possible way.
He was… happier. Way happier, even though he felt like a fraud, like a mismatched puzzle piece forcefully shoved among the others. He caught himself thinking about it all ending, a lot. It was a reasonable fear with how it used to be.
Months later, years, when he’d be alone, he’d be vulnerable to the words the vile voice in the back of his head would throw at him. And he would believe them.
He’d remember his first year on earth and realise his pack had never actually cared for him, they were still pretending, still feeling guilty about his past loneliness, the sickness they missed until it was nearly too late.
But now every time Phantom cries someone hears him.
They don’t let him feel alone, don’t let him be cold.
“What’s on your mind, bug?” Swiss stopped his racing train of thoughts. Phantom burrowed further into his side. Rain, glued to his back, mumbled something incoherent into his neck.
“Nothing,” the quintessence ghoul sighed.
“You sure? Everything okay?” It was no wonder Swiss worried, they all did now. They were all afraid of doing something wrong, of breaking Phantom again.
“Would you mind shutting up? Tryin’ to sleep here,” Dew snarled with no real venom from Swiss’ other side.
“Let them be,” Mountain scolded him, tightening his hold on the fire ghoul.
“I’m sure,” Phantom whispered into Swiss’ chest and let his eyes slip shut again.
His pack would never forgive themselves for neglecting him like they did, they’d keep doing everything in their power to make him feel loved, cared for, cared about.
And maybe in some time Phantom would stop doubting it was real.
Sodo/Dew
- quite short compared to the rest of the band.
- he’s got a habit of eating shit he’s not supposed to.
- He’s got a slim and somewhat bony build.
Water Element: The same as I see Rain. The light grey skin but with sapphire tones here and there. Long, black hair with a few faint lines of a deep shade of blue. Small fins on his ear, the same as the slightly larger fin on his tail. The horns that sit on his head fade into that same sapphire tone. They’re long and beautifully sharp. His eyes a dark grey with hints of blue and gold. The cold, soothing touch that any water ghoul would have. The soft padding’s of his fingers gave a soothing feel to anyone he touched.
Fire Element: The grey color of his skin turned a darker shade with tones of gold and red. His once dark hair, turnt white with hints of dark grey. The fins on his ears and tail molted away, leaving his tail ashy. His ears pointed, darkest at the tips. A bright fire flickers at the end of the ghouls tail when he becomes aggravated. The once beautiful horns cracked into a smaller, more dull form. His eyes, glow red and gold through the darkness of the ghouls den. The emotion and pain always shone in his eyes. His body could warm anyone just by a slight touch.
Rain
- More in the middle of the ghouls heights, but is still fairly tall.
- he LOVES sea animals (has a collection of stuffed sea animals)
- he’s slightly muscular, but still lean.
His skin is a light shade of grey with splotches of sky blue. Gills lay on the sides of his neck, always exposed. His dark, loose curled hair lies slightly above his jaw. Stripes of light grey flow and blend with the rest of his hair which he, normally, wears in a small bun. The small fins on his ears flick at the slightest sounds. His horns slightly curl back, sharing the same grey-sapphire tone as the rest of his skin. His tail is mostly grey with blue at the very beginning. His eyes are a bright, ocean blue color with a few darker speckles here and there. The ghoul’s saliva can heal and soothe any ghouls injury, with the extra help of an earth ghoul.
Aether
- tied at the second tallest ghoul with Swiss.
- could fall asleep anywhere if he wanted to
- Buff boy with squish, love him (perfect pillow)
His skin is a very dark shade of grey with black and dark purple trickled down his body. His hands and arms are always decorated in jewelry. His dark hair is normally messily slicked back, a few strands always hand over his forehead. He has a slight stubble across his jaw and chin. His long, pointed ears fade to a pitch black nearing the end. His horns are long, thick, and oh so smooth. His tail is almost black and is always touching something. His eyes are normally a grey-ish purple. When he uses his quintessence, his eyes glow a very light rainbow. Any quintessence ghoul can feel and extract any pain, anxiety, or thoughts anyone may experience. They can either take it on themselves, or share it with the earth. Unlike other quintessence ghouls, Aether can reach into someone’s mind and alter their perception, giving them a light mindset.
Phantom/Aeon
- right in the middle of Rain and Dew’s height. Perfect for anyone, really.
- has a really bad habit of picking at his tail (rain and mountain are always helping him)
- he’s definitely squishy, the boy loves munching (especially mountains cakes)
His skin shares the same pattern as Aether, but a bit lighter. Freckles scattered across his face, shoulders, and back. They look almost like small galaxies on his soft skin. Pure white streaks flow though his dark, messy hair. (Let’s be honest, this poor boy doesn’t know how to take care of himself yet..) His ears are still very small and a bit droopy. They share the same tones as his skin. His horns on the other hand, are quite long. They curl back a little more than Dew’s. They faded into a light grey at the end as they grew. His tail is the same as Aether and is always wrapped around someone (mostly Aether and Aurora). His eyes are almost pitch black until he uses his quintessence. When he used it for the first time everyone was quite taken back because of his eyes. They were oh so beautiful. A small galaxy in his eyes shone as he experimented on Aether. Phantom, or Aeon, is a little similar to Aether with his quintessence. He can loosen every muscle in the body, making them feel as though they’re floating. If one of the ghouls ever felt stiff, they immediately went to him. (not Dew though, he’s stubborn.)
Mountain
- the tallest ghoul (used as a base for cuddle piles, which he enjoys very much)
- he hits his head on everything
- a lean build with slight muscle
His skin is the perfect shade of grey with both light and dark freckles everywhere. All of the ghouls love tracing over them. His hair is dark brown and very soft. Besides Dew, he takes the most care of his hair. His ears are small and pointy. There’s a small snip of his ear missing from an accident during a ritual. His horns are a bit smaller than Aether’s. He decorates them will charms and trinkets he’s collected from fans. His tail is the same as his skin, but the spade of his tail is a bit chipped. He has sleepy green eyes that no one could get mad at. When using his element, he can make any antidote for injuries from the palms of his hands.
Swiss
- Tied with Aether for second tallest ghoul, and he hates it.
- hes very touchy (especially with dew cause he knows it pisses him off)
- muscular, works out in his free time
Swiss’s skin is a dark-ish grey with some parts of his body faded in white. His hair is a very dark shade of brown, almost black. He has a stubble on his chin, which he try’s to maintain. His ears are long and dull, painted black at the tips. His lobes are stretched from the gauges he wears. His horns are dotted with multiple colors, being a multi ghoul and all. They’re curved back and dull. His tail is the exact same as his horns, but a bit lighter. His eyes match his horns and tail, spotted with all kinds of colors. His eyes and horns slightly glow when he sings or uses any instrument. His voice can easily soothe anyone to sleep, including Dew. (crazy, ik)
The Ghoulettes
Cirrus
- She’s the tallest ghoulette, and everyone loves her (dommy mommy lowkey…)
- she loves spicy food (literally the only thing she eats)
- Slim and curvy (her biceps are impressive as well)
She has light grey skin with a dark grey surrounding her eyes. Her hair is a blue-ish grey color. It’s always neatly styled compared to Cumulus. She uses a clip to hold it back during rehearsals so it doesn’t get in her eyes. Her ears are a little droopy with dark grey tips. Cirrus’s horns are a bit different than everyone else’s. They’re curved and pressed back, almost like a cats ears. They’re a pretty grey, a bit darker than her skin. Her tail is dark grey at the base and lighter at the tip. Her eyes a dark grey with specks of white.
Cumulus
- She’s the third tallest ghoul, just below Sunny and Cirrus
- scares the shit out of everyone (not joking, her footsteps are light as shit.
- THICC QUEEN, curves and all
Her skin is almost white flushed with a light grey-blue color. She has a few beauty marks on her face, and she loves them (an absolute baddie). Her hair is very messy, but knotless. She’s a go with the flow type of ghoul. Her horns are a light grey and are curled back slightly. Her ears are wide and dull. She has a few piercings on each of her ears. Her tail is smooth and aerodynamic, considering her element is air. Her eyes are almost pure white with rings of sky blue. If anyone needs to cool something down or dry anything off, she’s the ghoul. Her breath is icy and can chill anything or anyone.
Sunshine
- She’s almost the same height as Cirrus, but she doesn’t mind.
- she’s very hyper (zoomies 24/7)
- Slim and lean build
Her skin is a medium toned grey with splotches of a sheer red and orange. Her hair is short, curly, and wild. It’s a dark ginger color with small streaks of a blond-ish tone. Her horns and very short and slightly curled. They share the same color of her skin, getting lighter near the tips. Her ears are very droopy and sun kissed at the ends. Her tail is very thin and it coils a bit. It’s the same colors as her skin. Her eyes are a bright amber color with brown rings circling her pupil.
Aurora/Wisp
- definitely the shortest of the entire band, everyone adores her and her sweet voice
- she’s a morning person (she wakes everyone up on accident)
- A little stubby and curvy, but has crazy leg strength
Her skin is near the same color as Swiss’s, but with random pops of light pink (no one can explain why). Her hair is long and straight. It fades from white to a very sheer pink. She keeps it in bubble braids unless she’s sleeping. Her ears are more rounded with the smallest point. They’re splotches with pink at the very tips of her ears. Her horns are very small and curved back. They share the same tones as her skin, just a bit brighter. Her tail is almost entirely black besides one pink dot in the middle of her tail. She has the cutest pink puppy dog eyes. (no one can say no to her, ever)
(this is the first thing I’ve ever posted so be nice to me 🙏)
I figured I should introduce myself before you get into the dirt of my profile.
You may call me Spirit, or anything really! I’d like to keep my age to myself for privacy reasons, and I’m around the same height as Cumulus.
I’ve been a Ghost fan for quite some time now and I was just looking for a way to let my mind go wild. So, if anyone sees this, I’m very open to suggestions!
I do mostly write gender-neutral and amab reader since most fics are afab! I can, and will, write anything unless it’s lowkey illegal (non-con, incest, pedophilia, etc).
Other than that, I’m very friendly so don’t be afraid to reach out! Stay safe! 🖤🤘
I CANNOT BREATHE.
From the kissy prompts: almost kisses interrupted by a third party (don’t forget to send me any ideas - happy to give it a try!)

Cirrus had the new ghoul cornered, hemmed in by Cumulus and herself, blocking his exit from the too-small dressing room he’d found himself in accidentally after the show, mistaking the door for the ghoul’s room, he’s inadvertently walked into a lion(ess)‘s den.
“Oh, look what we have here, Cir.” Cumulus laughs, bubbly but dripping with sarcastic edge.
“I see that…. It seems there’s a cock in the henhouse!” She flashes her fangs at Phantom as he blushes seven shades of lavender, hands up protectively, apologetic.
“M’sorry… couldn’t see… with… helmet. All the doors look the same.” He mutters, tripping over his words.
“I don’t know, Cumulus, I think he just wanted to catch us changing..” Cirrus coos.
“Awh, is that what you wanted, baby? You wanted to see what we got going on in here? We can help with that, of course… why don’t you come over here and I’ll show you something…” Cumulus purrs.
Phantom’s hair stands on end as his skin tingles, his brain warning him of the danger he is in. A fly in the spider’s web. The girls reeling him in as he tries to make his escape, finding himself caught in their grasp.
Before he can think, the girls have him pinned on the couch, mask off, Cumulus sitting on his lap, holding his vest by the arm holes and pulling him to her chest, pushing his face into her cleavage, shimmying to really bury him in between her breasts…
Cirrus laughs as Phantom emerges breathless and nearly purple at the points of his ears, sitting behind him holding him as he squirms, clearly embarrassed and unsure of the next move from the girls. His black hair mussed and his eyes wide, pupils blown.
Cirrus cards her claws through his wavy hair and pulls his head back leaning forward to run her fangs along his neck, up to his mouth, ready to press a hard kiss to his soft lips as he whines.
Just as she leans in, the dressing room door slams open and Swiss sticks his head in, a hand covering his eyes, but openly peeking between his fingers, “Heyyy ladies - have you seen our newbie?? I lost him somewhere…”
A pillow from the filthy couch comes sailing at Swiss as a muffled yelp echoes around the small room.
Phantom emerges from the ghoul pile on the sofa, looking extremely ruffled, shirt undone and hair sticking up everywhere.
“Ah, you found him! Great! Do you mind if I borrow him back?” Swiss teases, stepping into the room to escort Phantom out, looking him up and down, admiring the red lipstick on his throat from Cirrus.
“Ah, spoiled all our fun, Swissy.. come see us later - we’ll let you finish what he started..” Cirrus teases, snapping her teeth at Swiss.
“Wouldn’t miss it, ladies - it’s always a good time.” He says as he shuts the door.
Once back in the hall, Swiss grabs Phantom by the vest and pushes him up against the wall, nosing into his neck, scenting him… Warm golden eyes meeting lavender, Swiss leans in, whispering in Phantom’s ear…
“Couldn’t let them kiss you before I do…. Tonight, you’re mine.”
OH MY FUCK- HELLO?!?? FIC WRITERS PLEASE HEAR MY CALLS 🙏
(move Sodo, it’s my turn)
I’m SORRY but like… WHAT?!?
