Writing Tip!
You know you’ve written a character well when 5 minutes introducing them you kill them yet you’re readers still cry.
Tip finished.
My apologies, I cried over a Madoka magica edit in a place I wasn't supposed to and became sour. Doomed yuri is good
"Oh doomed yuri is great! I love doomed yuri soooo much! Hey, you should read some doomed yuri!" You know what I love? Joy, whimsy, feeling happy for the day you god damned masochists
Writing tip time!
Characters are a complex thing in general, but character relationships are even more complex. Just remember that characters don’t always have to share interests or goals to be compatible. Humans are complex and while characters aren’t as complex they’re still a reflection their fleshy creators.
Tumblr is the one site where I am HEAVILY confused at what the formalities are. I know that there is some form of etiquette on this site yet after a year or two of being here I have no fucking idea
criminal profiling is just astrology for cops
Not that the detective is bad at solving crimes, far from it in fact. However they’re such an idiot in literally EVERYTHING else to the point where the demon is surprised they’re not missing limbs and much more surprised they’re not dead by now. Like stupid enough to the point where he’s been kidnapped (white van, promise of candy and all), lost all of their money to scammers twice, and almost died cause they couldn’t solve 3^2.
A detective and a demon are a crime solving duo. However, the demon is bound to the detective, and only helps because the detective is an idiot.
Update on my campaign!
Just watched 4 people argue about puberty and what age half-elves go through puberty. Came to the conclusion that tax evasion is necessary when raising children. Still don’t know how they got there.

I believe this is called a writing type.
Detail is something that can shift what the reader is focusing on. Adding more detail on to one place will make it seem important, memorable, and something to focus on, while removing detail or not giving to much detail to it can make it unnoticeable. If you pour more detail into the clock on the wall than the strange hooded figure, people are going to care more about the clock. That being said, be mindful of where you put detail and where you don’t.
If this is a writing tip then I believe it is over.
