Nailed every part of them! Mentioned everything I love about them separately and together! So glad I’m not the only one that sees all the amazing qualities that both these babes have!
What is your favorite quality about TK? What is your favorite quality about Carlos? And what is your favorite thing about them as a couple?
Hi Sweetie! Thanks for the ask! Where do I begin? 😅
My favorite quality about TK is his tenderness. It’s not just something he shows - it’s who he is. When he looks at you, you can see straight into his core, and it’s so raw and beautiful. He feels things deeply, he loves with everything he has, and there’s this quiet vulnerability in him that’s just incredibly moving - even after everything he went through. He’s also incredibly brave - especially when it comes to his job.
With Carlos, it’s his loyalty and calm strength. He’s protective and grounded, and he has this steady presence that makes you feel safe. He’s a caretaker at heart - you see it in the way he makes TK food, how he anticipates his needs without being asked, how he holds space for TK even when things get messy. He doesn’t just love with words, he loves through actions.
As a couple, it’s their chaotic dynamic that I love most - the way their differences make them fit perfectly. TK is impulsive and emotional; Carlos is steady and composed. The lizard moment is a great example: TK brought a lizard home like it was no big deal, and Carlos freaked out - but he loves TK more than anything, so of course they kept it. Or the proposal scene, where TK is overwhelmed and struggling with his emotions, and Carlos, even half-asleep, instantly senses it and calms his baby down without hesitation. They just get and ground each other and it’s so special to watch.
Thank you for the ask again ❤️ I could ramble about this for hours 😅
Okay so it’s more than seven again. But sometimes it just needs to be.
Taking the citrusy fruit, he gives her a small smile. “Thanks, Fah. For everything. For fixing me up. For taking care of me. For coming with me.”
“Someone need to keep you in line. Make you stop and take care of yourself. You die out here without help.” She speaks bluntly and it’s something TK finds refreshing.
It isn’t long after the sun sets that TK drifts off to sleep. They discussed and agreed to take shifts so they could keep an eye on each other. Fah insists on TK sleeping first. He doesn’t fight her on it as his eyes are drooping without his consent.
After a few hours of sleep, Fah shakes TK to a state of awareness and he bolts up right, wincing as he grabs at his ribs.
“Enough for you. I sleep now.” She speaks and lays down getting comfortable and using his leg as a pillow.
CHAPTER 2 Now up!
Honestly? Thank god there’s no season 6. And I say that as a huge, huge fan. I’m honestly relieved I won’t have to watch TK as a SAHD (seriously, what the hell was that?), I don’t need to see a forced family dynamic (no, Carlos did NOT want kids), and Owen living away from his son? Absolutely not.
Thank god we have 4 almost perfect seasons and AO3 to recover.
Thank god.

Writer’s block sucks! It sucks even more when you have just one chapter left of your story and it just won’t flow like it had been. For those waiting for the last chapter of The Impossible, I am so sorry I don’t have it finished. I have been hit with a bad case of writer’s block and just need to step away from it. I hope to have it finished some time this week.
You’re staring at the page. The cursor blinks like it’s taunting you. You want to write—hell, you even know what you want to write about—but it’s like your brain’s frozen. That, my friend, is the all-too-familiar little bitch known as writer’s block.
So, how do you fight it?
Here’s what’s helped me, and maybe it'll help you too.
Seriously. Open a doc and let yourself write the worst possible version of what you’re trying to say. No pressure. No editing. You can always clean it up later. A messy first draft is better than no draft.
Sometimes your brain just needs a different view. Go outside. Sit at a café. Write on your phone instead of your laptop. A small change can trick your brain into feeling inspired again.
Forget structure. Forget plot. Just go full chaos mode. Rant about your characters, the scene, or how much writing sucks today. That little brain dump might lead you to a breakthrough.
A poem. A Tumblr post. A flash fiction piece. Sometimes reading a spark of good writing reminds your brain how fun words can be.
Writer’s block is normal. It doesn’t mean you’re broken. It just means your brain’s buffering. Rest, hydrate, and be gentle with yourself. Then try again.

Writing is weird. Some days it flows like magic, and other days it’s like dragging your soul through the trenches. But if you’re stuck, don't give up on it— the words will come back.
