"this filter will show you if your teeth are yellow" "this filter will show you if your nose is perfect" "this filter will show you if your face is symmetrical" "this filter will show you if your lips are big" how about if we all blew up our phones forever
Remember to get a library card if you can.
Use the Libby app with your library card for free audio or ebooks. Libraries typically offer other online resources too, it depends on your library but mine offers Kanopy which allows you to watch 10 movies a month, from blockbusters to smaller indie movies. We also offer Creativebug which is like a smaller version of skillshare for art/craft tutorials, and we had The Great Courses for a while which was art/history/science courses.
All of these are free with your card and your library probably has a lot of cool stuff you might not know about if you haven't checked recently.
For physical books: libraries (typically) have an innerlibrary loan system so even if your llibrary doesn't have a book, ask at the front desk.
If there's no way to get a book at your library, buy it off thriftbooks instead of Amazon.
Surround yourself with people who will challenge your point of view, inspire new ideas and teach you from experience.
You need motivation to study? Let me introduce you to spiteful studying. When you study a subject to prove someone wrong. When you spend hours writing up notes so that you can get that grade and smile smugly at the teacher who predicted you a lower grade. Find someone to prove wrong, it can be a teacher, a parent, friend or just to prove society that you’re so much more capable then they say you are!
Trust me, it works.
when you start reading again and it's like oh. oh . the sun actually does still shine.
amo minha terra mas odeio meu país

This is your daily reminder to not be ashamed of making your life easy for yourself.
Cut your food into small pieces, make the font size 30 on your e book, use straws to drink, get a pen that’s comfortable to hold, take more naps, walk slowly, eat another cookie, buy velcro shoes, re-watch the part you couldn’t understand the first time, write things on your hands so you don’t forget it… whatever you want and/or need
Don’t let anyone tell you how you should be doing things. We don’t need to prove each other anything
ADHD be like: I need to do do this task before I go to bed. therefore I’ll stay up all night on my phone because I have no motivation to do the thing but I can’t go to bed unless I do it.
