every week day i have my internship job so im not gonna add that on my to do list anymore

bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental

so yesterday i obviously did all my internship work and i was also able to plan my essay. havent written it yet however thats what weekends are made for. i did my portuguese test, (mostly text comprehension problems) but i didnt manage to finish my math set of problems. gonna do it today.

and i did a little of my excel course :D

yesterday was a nice day. hopefully today will be better!

i made a decison as well; wanna try to use my rest time while working or studying to learn something new or getting better at some other skill. like practicing chess or drawing. maybe give another shot to morse code. the thing is, when i have a pomodoro session, which i like because is the way i track my time, and it ends, during my break i usually decide to watch 10-20 minutes of an episode of a tv show or something. but its extremely hard for me to stop! and then get back to work! ive been trying for mooonths. i use an adapted version of the animedoro method and its just not really working for me because i have a problem with limits. so maybe i should stop and only watch tv shows during my free time. gonna try today a skillmodoro or whaterver name ill come up with today and tell you in the future if it has been helping me. if it doesnt work im not sure what im going to do :/

another thing i wanna try in the future is posting pictures of my desk, notebooks, etc. a goal for the short term future :)

today i woke up feeling so much better. since im still feeling sick i decided to skip today's lecture but im gonna get some studying done so i dont use my time on tiktok and netflix :P

things i need to get done today:

internship work

math problems for college applications

portuguese test for college applications

write an essay for college applications

things i want to get done however it doesnt really matter if i dont do them:

excel course

Arts and crafts are perfect for adhd folk bc there's an immediate and visual progress.

Cut fabric, sew it together. You just made clothing.

Put some beads on some twine. You just made jewelry.

You can see your productivity.

Chores are the opposite. Yes, your kitchen is clean now. But you'll cook again that evening or the next day and you'll have to start over. Yes, you vacuumed. But two days later it's dusty again. Laundry done, until next week.

Chores never end.

But arts and crafts, nobody can undo the thing you made. You can hold it up and say "look. I made this. I did the productivity today" and nothing quite beats that serotonin rush.

i have nothing to do so i might just try learning something new. ive been thinking about morse code for a while because of stranger things and interstellar, if you have any tips or resources please share them with me <3

You need motivation to study? Let me introduce you to spiteful studying. When you study a subject to prove someone wrong. When you spend hours writing up notes so that you can get that grade and smile smugly at the teacher who predicted you a lower grade. Find someone to prove wrong, it can be a teacher, a parent, friend or just to prove society that you’re so much more capable then they say you are!

trees are very 🥺 because sometimes i’ll stand under the shade of a tree and look up at it and it’ll sway its branches about in the wind and i’m like oh my God i’m alive and YOU’RE alive. we are alive together and made up of the same starry stuff and standing right next to each other in this moment on this earth. do u feel it when i reach out and press my hand to your trunk? can you hear me? i think you’re so neat. and then the sunlight filters through its leaves just so and that lovely green color leaves me dazzled. it’s just very nice to be an alive thing next to a different sort of alive thing

you know what, i know too much about america. social media is so american-centric i could probably tell you more about there than my home country. i would like to forget some information about america please. i would like for someone to say “I am from Oregon” and for me to reply “haha is that some kind of herb?”. please erase america from my knowledge. thank you
