i am ashamed of still liking total drama island in 2021 but shut up its only gotten better over the years
aleheather??? still the love of my life after five years.
peak villain duo, i hate everyone but you energy.
the fact that in tdas they just ?? got over the volcano thing?? like they dont hold grudges at all, they understand that they're just playing the game.
yeah babe i get it, i wouldve done the same thing ily
you can't even try to ship them with anyone else bc once they team up they're SO willing to fuck over all their friends
they wouldn't last if they didn't understand each other so well
they're both good at reading people but both are difficult to read
you could argue that they're too similar but CLEARLY neither appreciates people different to them
the love/hate thing isn't at all in a toxic way, they're just trying to convince themselves they aren't attached because they're afraid of commitment and in tdas they're shown to genuinely care about each other without fighting
ik some people hated them being lovey-dovey but damn thats some good character development for both of them
they haven't lost their edge or anything they've just teamed up
one could even say they've doubled their power
obviously alejandro is the pull where heather is the push but it goes deeper than being one-sided
alejnadro's 'pull' isn't vulnerability for him, he does that with everyone. its when he starts to lose focus that he shows vulnerability and at first heather doesn't realise and takes advantage of it
but when he calls her out she listens and feels bad which is something we never see from her otherwise
heathers vulnerability isn't when she cries in the wt finale since we've seen her use crying as manipulation before
its more subtle, like when she hugs him when they're successful
because more than anything, heather isn't used to sharing happiness. her happiness comes at the cost of others, her competitive nature likely stemming from competition with her siblings for their parents' affection.
she doesn't like being alone in the game or being the bad guy, but thats what works.
when they're together they can be the bad guys without being alone
not to mention they're each other's weaknesses, so with that out of the way they're more powerful
i'd just like everyone to know that when fabian gifted adaine a worm in a box it did not occur to me once that it was a literal worm until it started talking. i had no doubt in my mind that it was a fuzzy blue worm on a string in a gold box that she was going to wear like an earpiece/hearing aid.
Sting: *gets down on one knee*
Rogue: Oh my G-d, it's finally happening!
Sting: *ties shoe laces*
Rogue: He's stopped wearing crocs!
WHY IS ETHO EBENEZER SCROOGE AND WHY DOES IT KIND OF MAKE SENSE
4 beds 4 cuddling
always remember 'are we graded on a curve?' when questioning if they should warn the seven about potentially life-threatening information. adaine brained a woman with her own ladle in episode two and siobhan COMMITTED
Brennan: If someone leaves the party or dies, the party becomes pass/fail which is not an option for you. You need to succeed profoundly.
Everyone Else: Oh god, what if someone dies?
Siobhan: If we kill one of the Rat Grinders, they don't get to go to college.

enemies in d&d die as soon as they drop to zero hit points even if they have the exact same stats as the pcs. this depends on the dm, but that's how fantasy high works with i think the only exceptions being ragh and daybreak in freshman year. they cannot be healed from unconsciousness unless they are a main character, meaning the rat grinders WERE disadvantaged from the start by the game itself. if the bad kids were held to the same rules then kristen or k2 would have to reach touching distance to cast revivify on one person at a time, and even then as far as we know enemies in fantasy high cannot revive each other.
no matter how powerful they were or how much work they put in, the rat grinders would always be held back because when they die, they die. their only way out was to take the deal - in freshman year all of the bad kids would have died fighting the corn cuties if they had to play by the same set of rules. what would they have done if their only way back was to accept rage?
we need a kipperlilly special on the complicated women podcast - she willingly chose to be possessed, those are some complex ethical and philosophical ramifications. for the sake of the argument i'm assuming porter also has control over her since the shatter star is a part of her, because the morality of choosing to become evil is so interesting. did she think she was going to become a hero somehow, or did she accept that she would have to be a villain to have the power she wanted? she wanted to be better than the bad kids but she kept her moral superiority about fairness and the rules, so was she aware that she couldn't beat the bad kids by playing fair? was her anger always at her own inadequacy, at the fact that she could never excel in the same way they did without cheating? was she projecting the entire time?
jonathan is a hermit and recluse that only appears once in a full moon with a full conspiracy board just before the final battle.
just know that max didn't have a letter for jonathan
he deserves better please.
just feel the need to revisit this after session 6...
has this been done yet?
it's not that cassandra is feeling neglected imo bc kristen is actively rejecting her lmao, but i think there's something to the idea that cassandra is a reflection of kristen. she doesn't act like kristen (not even any previous iteration of kristen) but she does look like kristen and represent a time in kristen's life that she maybe doesn't want to think about, possibly because of a certain someone tattooed on her neck that's not here anymore👀👀
ok ok ok not to uh. get up in weeds about the whole cass and kristen thing but i keep seeing people say like ‘i feel so bad for cassandra’ but an important thing that i feel like we need to remember that brennan has emphasized throughout previous seasons about the gods is that they are the reflection of their followers. cass looks like kristen because they are kristen.
when cass is feeling neglected and shunted aside do we think maybe it’s cuz who kristen actually is is being neglected? they have spent the whole summer trying to save the world, that doesn’t leave time for them to like process what they’ve gone through and who they are so maybe cass feels dejected cuz kristen doesn’t know who she is either
just. food for thought
