i’m so crazy for this but when percy was completely encased in gold, the statue looked so... kind?? to think that was the last expression he had right before what he thought was his death, an expression he directed towards annabeth–a reassurance and a goodbye all in one. yeah this shit makes me sob.

Apparently I have to choose a new code phrase to alert the squad that I’ve climbed up to my sniping spot.  Which is a shame, because I thought “It’s over Hunter, I have the high ground” communicated it perfectly.
