Had this idea way back when we first saw the Grimwalker graveyard in King’s Tide. The chances of this happening a pretty slim, but i wanted to get the idea out anyway

Raven, shuffling tarot cards: Prescience is... complicated. And not really reliable. Plus demon dad stuff leads to a lot of messed up confirmation bias. I like doing this because it takes a lot of the horrible stuff out of the equation.

Beast Boy: I have no idea what that means. So... you're not looking into my future?

Raven: Well, part of determining the future means assessing the present. This can be just as much meditation as divination.

Beast Boy: *confused squint*

Raven: *sigh* Just ask a question.

Beast Boy: Uhhhhh how aboooout.... 'Will hot babes fall madly in love with me?'

Raven: ...

Beast Boy: What?

Raven: *weary sigh before shuffling the deck* 'Will hot babes fall madly in love with Beast Boy?' *takes out three cards and places them face down* Okay... flip 'em.

Beast Boy: *flips first card* 'The Fool?' Oh come on, if you were gonna be a jerk about it, you could have just said 'no!'

Raven: *blinks* I uh.. I didn't pick that card on purpose. The deck is randomly shuffled.

Beast Boy: *folds arms* Yeah right Ms. Super Psychic.

Raven: I'm serious--'The fool' isn't an insult. It's mostly about like... new adventures, new experiences, being open to learning and being lucky. It's actually a really good card for the first part of the spread.

Beast Boy: I like being lucky! Okay, yeah, I can get with this! Aaaaand the next card is.... *flips card* 'Two of cups?'

Raven: *clearly concerned* Huh...

Beast Boy: Hey, there's a couple on the card! That's good, right? That means hot babes!

Raven: Well, the suite of cups is associated with love, but the card's inverted, so that means--

Beast Boy: Lucky number 3! *flips card* 'The Tower!'

Raven: *staring at the card*

Beast Boy: Pretty cool lookin'. The Tower's good, right? I mean we live in a tower.

Raven: ...

Beast Boy: Raven?

i’m so crazy for this but when percy was completely encased in gold, the statue looked so... kind?? to think that was the last expression he had right before what he thought was his death, an expression he directed towards annabeth–a reassurance and a goodbye all in one. yeah this shit makes me sob.

I mean to be fair that is kind of the point of a redemption arc. Slowly the character that’s been the villain, forced to be due to a chip, realizes how fucked up the thing they’ve been loyal for truly is. The fact that the writers are doing this slowly is honestly the show that they are doing it right. You’re totally right, someone doesn’t just do not thing then be good so I’m really excited to see where they take his redemption arc. On the other end though you do seem to have some very strong feelings on crosshair that you seem to be taking out on his fan base more then just ranting about the character which isn’t totally cool. Since I’m a bully for posting things on my own blog (lol), here’s another hot take:

One good deed does not constitute a full-fledged redemption arc. Not after he murdered someone that peacefully surrendered last time we saw him. Or the numerous other war crimes.

But hey, if you wanna work THAT hard to justify you liking a fictional character that NO ONE SAID YOU CAN’T LIKE, then go off I guess. Seems like a lot of wasted energy tho.
