Episode 2 is out and it’s even more exciting than the last!

In the latest episode, Hunter, Tech, and Crosshair play a round of Call to Arms on RDO. Filled with hilarious banter, noisy interruptions, and familiar cameos, this latest installment of The Bad Batch Plays is one you won’t want to miss!

I need to go on a little rant here…

So we just got the news on S3. And it was good, but mostly bad. Unfortunately it’s not coming out until next year, and unfortunately, it’s the final season. I’m angry because I feel like The Bad Batch is always getting the short end of the stick. It’s always getting pushed back for all these other shows. Last year, S2 was supposed to have an early release date. But it got pushed back. Why? In favor of other shows.

All I want are my boys. Now I have to live an entire year on a cliffhanger. Dramatic, I know, but I’m angry. We the fans deserve to get S3 sooner. After all, we were made to wait for S2. I think it’s only fair. S3 is already finished. They showed a teaser for it at the celebration.

The worst of it is, we didn’t even get a clear release date. All we got is, oh it’s coming out in 2024.

Honestly, I don’t care about the other shows. All I want is The Bad Batch. I don’t know if there’s anyone else who feels this way, or if it’s just me and my sisters.

The Bad Batch deserves better.

Good Soldiers Follow Orders. Crosshair Panel for Megacon Orlando is finished!

RANT WARNING

I kind of feel like everyone is like "I love crosshair now" or "ever since the outpost I've liked crosshair" or "crosshair is finally a good character." And thats so cool! I'm so happy that more people like him now. But... who else has loved crosshair from episode one?

Crosshair has been my favorite member of the bad batch since the very beginning. I was like something is up with this guy and I'm not resting until I find out more. He's such a good character. The whole plot line about how he couldn't help turning on his brothers because of the chip broke my heart. Then he had his chip removed but he stayed with the empire because "loyalty meant something to me," which also broke my heart. He never had a choice. He loved his brothers, but he was loyal. And then he finally turned on the empire because they weren't loyal to him and not only did that break my heart, it also broke him. Through it all, he still loved his brothers. The whole time. And his sister, I think, though he didn't really know it. Yes, he had his inhibiter chip removed. But he never had a choice. Not really.

Fixed It!

I know some of you were unhappy about the original poster so I made some changes…added Tech, gave Crosshair a picture that does him justice and made Hunter‘s size more compatible with the others.

I try not to write negative posts, but. . . man, TBB Season 3 has brought out the worst in me. I waited (hopeful, eager, naïve) an entire year just to be disappointed. Joy.

So. . . @techsbrowneyes expressed concern that they (they being the writers) made CX-2 resemble Tech in every possible way on purpose just to spark hope amongst Tech fans and keep them coming back. If this is indeed the case, then. . . shame on the writers! How cruel can you be?

This post isn’t to say CX-2 isn’t Tech. There’s still a good possibility—albeit a very, very slim one—that Tech is still alive. But. . . my hope is fast dwindling. Hope used to be a major theme in Star Wars. What happened to that? This season is far from hopeful. Far. It’s been nothing but dark and depressing and. . . dare I say. . . meaningless. It feels like we’ve been going around in circles.

TBB season 3 is inferior compared with its predecessors. Those seasons are masterpieces. This one? Not so much. And it isn’t just because Tech is gone. No. . . Echo has scarcely been in it. Hunter and Wrecker have taken a backseat. Hunter seems to be severely detached; it’s like he doesn’t really care anymore (I miss the old Hunter). Each time Tech is brought up, they act like he never mattered to them. I mean, c’mon! Show a little emotion.

This season hasn’t been very fulfilling. No longer do I look forward to episodes. I’ll watch the remaining episodes, but if the finale doesn’t end well, I may never watch season 3 again. I’ll continue to bask in the glory that is season 1 and 2, and the Bad Batch episodes from season 7 of the Clone Wars, but that’s it.

I was so looking forward to TBB seaon 3. Should I hope that the last episodes will be any good? Probably not. Nevertheless, I will, because hope is all I have left right now, and that’s what Star Wars is built on, right?
