What I adore about the Pokémon World is that just like how you can’t quite predict what someone’s favourite Pokémon can be, you sometimes just cannot predict what someone’s signature Pokemon will be.

Case and point, Oleana

Like, a lot of her party you can expect. Certainly Tsareena given how similar it is to her appearance and Froslass, Salazzle and Milotic also seem to fit the same vibe she gives off.

So imagine my surprise when I first fought her and found her signature Pokémon

2010s Black Tumblr didn't die organically. It was killed. Not just by staff, not just by the porn ban, but by the white userbase as well. Black bloggers were (and still are) being mass-reported and harassed off the platform constantly. White Tumblr users would post gore in problack tags, racefake left and right in Black people's askbox, pick random AAVE to call racist/misogynistic/transphobic, etc then get the Black people who were nice enough to explain what it means to them mass reported for harassment, the list goes on.

something hilarious i'm seeing about Kong and Godzilla, and the ship gong/kongzilla/mothkongzilla is that people are saying that Kong is an old man.

spiritually, yes, he's a Perpetually Exhausted Old Man who just wants to take a nap with his adopted kids.

physically and chronologically, he's only recently reached maturity.

he was still growing in Kong: Skull Island which took place in the 70s, reached his full height in GvK which took place in the 2020s, is a little shorter than our boy Goji, and i think some of the comics put his birth around the 1700s?????

all the other titans were in hibernation at that point (on the surface at least), meaning that Kong is basically an 18 yr old and the ship kongzilla is a May/December romance LMAO
