Lance looks through the binoculars again and finds Keith at the same time Adam calls Keith’s name and points at where Lance is standing. The other boy glances up, caught between a laugh from watching Pidge and Hunk write a lewd message in the sand. He flips him off and Lance’s hand-painted skull grins back at him. Keith’s cheeks are pink from the chill, his eyes bright and mischievous as the wind catches on the edges of his hair.

Lance mechanically waves back as he pulls away from the binoculars, Keith becoming a tiny figure against the sand as a blush begins to stain Lance’s cheeks. He hikes the collar of his jacket up, glancing furtively back at Shiro and then down at the shore below. 

Oh.

Fuck.

act ii officially underway!

hellooooo im resuming my mondayish uploads for act ii of my fic, looking out for you. i'm really excited for all the relationship building and bonding (including a Bonding Moment) that takes place in this arc. one of my biggest gripes with the canon content was that we never saw the paladins just.... hanging out as friends and getting to know each other as people? so im attempting to write in my own little moments, mainly from keith and lance's respective POVs. (bonus: adam w content!!! i love u so dearly adam and everything you could have been to shiro and the rest of the paladins) pls enjoy <3

i returned to tumblr after 4 years just to post this here <3

hi hello promoting first 2 chapters of my fic here. we r back in 2023 with slow burn college au klance, found family. all that good shit.

vld had the potential for a lot of character development and enrichment of the different character interactions and it kinda fell flat in the later seasons. (do not even get me started on how disappointed i was with lance's character development or lackthereof, as well as allura's ending...) at this point, i'm not sure if i actually like the show or the fan interpretation of the show more.

anyway i decided to try my hand at reworking the character arcs and their dynamics this time around because there's so much potential for all the conversations and dynamics that i wanted more fleshed out in the show, like keith and pidge, lance and shiro, allura actually being friends with lance. (reminder this is a KLANCE fic so all other pairings are platonic)

i started writing a few drabbles earlier this summer and then the drabbles took on a life of their own and now i have a beta reader—they dont have tumblr but love u bro— and i've published to ao3.
