The mouth on his stomach was slightly parted, almost snoring in sync with him, and his upper eyes were peacefully closed. The lower pair, however, fluttered open briefly as though sensing your gaze, but they shut again when they found no immediate threat.

“Sukuna,” you whispered softly, your voice gentle as you leaned closer.

The sound of your voice made his clawed hand twitch against the stuffed animal, his fingers kneading more insistently into the soft fabric. His lips parted slightly, and he let out a low, gravelly rumble that sounded almost like a purr. Slowly, one of his upper eyes cracked open, hazy and sluggish, the crimson gaze struggling to focus on you.

“Hmm…” he grunted, his voice deep and heavy with sleep. His eyes fluttered shut again, as if staying awake was too much effort, but his hand shifted, releasing the stuffed animal and blindly reaching out toward you.

“You missed me?” you cooed, sitting gently on the edge of the bed and brushing your fingers over his hair. His face leaned subtly into your touch, his brows relaxing, though his lips remained in their usual faint scowl.

He didn’t respond, but his other hands flexed, claws pressing into the mattress in slow, rhythmic motions, the same way he’d been clutching the stuffed animal moments before. His body practically radiated warmth, his size overwhelming the small bed, and the sight of him like this—heavy-lidded and utterly unguarded—filled you with a quiet ache.

“You don’t have to say it,” you murmured, stroking his temple as his chest rumbled softly. “I’m here now.”

His bottom pair of eyes cracked open now, their gaze more sluggish and unfiltered. They blinked at you slowly, the same way a contented cat might, and then shut again as he exhaled deeply.

With a slow, deliberate movement, Sukuna tugged you closer, his claws catching on the hem of your shirt as if afraid you’d slip away. “Don’t move,” he mumbled, his deep voice barely audible. His head settled back against the frilly pillow, his breathing evening out again as if your presence was all he needed to return to sleep.

“I’m not going anywhere,” you promised, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. His lips twitched faintly, his grip on you tightening as his body melted further into the mattress. His massive frame seemed smaller like this, softened by sleep and your affection, and you couldn’t help but marvel at how someone so fearsome could be so disarmingly tender.

Even in his dreams, you could feel his powerful hands twitching faintly against your skin, the unspoken need for you written in every sluggish movement and contented sigh.

when you kiss him, his lips tremble against yours. they're soft, warm, and you feel the faintest whimper slip out when your tongue slides into his mouth. his hands finally come up to grab your hips. the grip is shaky, like he's grounding himself, and you smile into the kiss, knowing how much he's falling apart.

you pull back, just enough to look at him. his eyes are heavy-lidded, his chest heaving, and his lips are parted as though he wants to say something but can't get the words out. "you're so pretty like this," you murmur, brushing your fingers along his jaw.

his breath hitches, a faint flush creeping up his neck. "you're cruel," he mutters, voice raw and breaking.

"you love it," you whisper, your hand sliding lower.

he shudders when your fingers wrap around him, a strangled moan spilling from his lips as you stroke him slowly. he's hard, so sensitive it makes his hips twitch with every movement. his head falls back, his mouth opening as another broken gasp escapes him.
