urgent / A chance to save a life at a critical moment
Please share and reblog to save my family 🙏🌹
🆘/To Alaa and my family in Gaza
My dear friends
I hope everyone will donate and share my story.
Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
✨ My Plea for Your Support ✨ I’m a writer, and I’ve been documenting the harsh realities faced by my community under siege. But words can only do so much. We need action, and we need help. Your kindness can save us.
🙏 How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing the essentials we desperately need.
Share Our Story: If you can’t donate, please share this post to help us reach others who can.
Your support will help provide food for the children, clean water for my family, and basic supplies to help us survive this unimaginable crisis.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing in solidarity with us. Together, we can create a lifeline for my family—a chance to live, to dream, and to hope again.
With love and gratitude, Areej Kassab ❤️
Please help Hanan and her family!
Friend's Soul, Foe's Cage
Famished friend,
I haven't seen you in many moons,
Starved soul,
You haven't sent me any feathers
For the pillow 'neath my bed,
Hungry foe,
You've stabbed me through my only cavity,
Impaled my tongue, pulled my teeth,
I have no words in your world,
Not because I am speechless,
But because I am caged.
No safety. No food. No aid. No water. No healthcare. No education. Is this what it means to live? Is this what world accept as life?
If a group of animals were trapped, starved, and cut off from the world like this, people would be outraged. But because it's us—human beings—somehow, the world looks away.
These are unbearable days. Everything feels heavy. Each hour presses on my chest like I’m being suffocated.
Basic survival has become nearly impossible. Bread—just bread—now costs over $25 a day to make.
We are not asking for luxury. We are begging for life.

The Sun needs not the Moon,
For if the Moon in the sky had burned as bright,
How come it's canvas remains a pitch black sight?
For if the Sun needed the Moon,
How come it holds it's own,
How come the Moon only reflects the lambent wishes of the Sun?
But what if the Sun sees himself as the Moon,
And the Moon as the Sun,
If the Moon sees himself for what he truly is,
And the Sun so bright he basks in it.
The Sun needs not the Moon,
And the Moon knows this,
He prefers not to shade the Sun's light,
Would never want to reduce the hopeful rays to pathetic halos,
For halos cannot light up the world.
The Moon sees everything in the Sun,
And what the Moon brings is what the people believe as madness,
And truthfully, what he brings is darkness,
If the Sun may bring the people happiness,
If the Moon did not hold their best interests in his cold heart,
Then the Moon will fear not the day he leaves.
But what the Moon does not know,
The day that he fades away from even the Sun's view,
The Sun will weep, raining gold,
The Sun will feel...cold...
The Sun isn't meant to be cold.
(What used to be golden and anew, burst into fading light, and followed the Moon)
It's been days... and the donations have stopped. 🍉‼️
💔 We are a family in Gaza:
- Father: Elderly and sick
- Us: Women struggling to survive
- Reality: No food, no income, no support
The situation is becoming unbearable. Prices are rising. Our resources are running out.
It’s been three days since we’ve received any help. 📉
💸 Even a small donation can make a world of difference.
👉 5 can give us food for a day.
👉 10 can help with medicine for our father.
👉 $20 can buy us essential supplies.
Your "support" can change everything. Don't let us go another day without help.
Even if you can't donate, sharing this message can reach someone who can.
Please, help us survive this. We need your help now. 🙏
Here is the link to my new campaign for the third time after my campaign was deleted and my money was stolen and I did not take anything for my children. I hope you are well and help me with an urgent donation for my children. We need food, drink and shelter such as tents, tarpaulins and treatment.😢
My Dear, since yesterday in night , we have been forced to leave our homes, and the battle of the needy towards the unknown. With every step we take, the heart strings tear, memories accumulate, and dreams fail to speak. We carry our worries and hopes, and turn to the Rich and Almighty, hoping that He will provide, and remove all distress, and relieve us of all worry. My home, no matter how small and humble, remains a haven of comfort and relaxation, while being forced to leave it remains a source of sorrow and tears. If you want to donate, the link is here
My regards...
We are the Abu Ras family, once living peacefully in the northern Gaza Strip. Like so many others, our lives were upended by the ongoing war. Our home was destroyed in the north, and we were forced to leave everything behind and embark on a harrowing journey of displacement through several cities in the southern Gaza Strip. Now, we live in tents in the heart of the region, struggling to survive and rebuild.
The war not only took our home but also our livelihoods. We lost our jobs and the means to provide for our family. But despite the hardships, we are determined to rise again and rebuild our lives. However, we cannot do it alone.
We are asking for your support to help us secure a safe home and rebuild a new future for our children. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us take a step toward that goal. Your generosity can bring hope and stability to a family that has lost so much.
Please consider donating to help the Abu Ras family survive this difficult time and rebuild our lives.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
